Does anyone know if Premiere Elements 4.0 can be broken a part in components to use on multiple screens?

It all depends what you're wanting to do, t.
The quality of the output for both is indentical.
If you're wanting to edit, add titles, effects, transitions, keyframe effects, add motion paths across pictures and create DVDs, either program will work.
If you need embedded timelines, increased support for a wider range of media, broadcast functions for tuning color ranges and other professional features that I barely understand, you need Pro. And, if you plan to produce deep-level DVD menus, you may need Encore rather than Premiere Elements' basic DVD creator.
So it's up to you. There are many professionals using Premiere Elements. So it's kind of like Photoshop Elements vs. the full version of Photoshop -- if you don't understand the differences, you can probably get along fine with the consumer version.
As I've said, the quality of the results from the Elements and Pro versions are identical.

I have a 2010 MacBook Pro which I use for all of my video & music editing. I currently have the following accessories: MiniDisplay Port to DVI & MiniDisplay Port to VGA adapters. I also have VGA to DVI-D adapters that all work concurrently if I need them to.
I have been using two screens to edit on recently but now I want to upgrade and use a 3rd screen, which technology sod I need to make this happen?

How to use multiple screens?

I have a two screen setup with my MBP. If I full screen when watching a video using VLC, the other screen goes black... like in previous version of OSX. How do I full screen while being able to use the other screen?

M e too. Somehow I stumbled upon the right way to get it - inside iTunes AFTER updating iTunes and iTouch to latest versions.
Now that I did that - some of my iTunes library locations were lost!!!!!
Podcast video will not play in iTunes.
And for some reason my iTouch can't get synced with podcasts.
I wish Apple could get 1 of these major updates right the 1st time.

Multiple screens & Excel dialog box placement

I'm using multiple screens with my 13" Retina Macbook Pro, and what is really annoying is that Excel places it's dialog boxes in a strange location where I cannot action them or move them.
Does anyone have an idea on how to tell Excel to ignore the other displays and just show me the dialog boxes on the screen/desktop that has the application on? Going to fullscreen or moving the windows to any other displays didnt make any difference; dialog box remains the same

Using flash projector on multiple screens

hi,
i have a display project for which i will be using 4 plasma
screens linked together as 1 giant screen. I'm not sure if flash's
"full screen" mode will work...and i don't know of any 3rd party
software off the top of my head that will work...
can flash or is there any 3rd party software that will allow
me to run a flash projector across multiple screen connected
together?

Android Multiple Screens

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible with Adobe air to allow for multiple screens in Android. I have a HTC Incredible and a Galaxy Nexus both of which support video out. Android currently only supports mirroring for Video out. I wanted to know if it would be possible for adobe air to recognize the video out of the device as an external display that use either a MHL HDMI Out (Galaxy Nexus) or Analog-Composite video out (HTC Incredible). To illustrate a scenario that would use this: let say the app is a gallery and has x amount of pictures. The user has a video out cable connected and is recognized as the second monitor. Once the user sees a picture they like they would click on the image. Once the image is clicked it is sent to the 2nd display (the video out of the Android device) so the picture is being displayed on the larger screen while the user is still free to browse the pictures. Is this in realm of Adobe Air capabilities? Or am I misinterpreting "Multiscreen Development"?

New 13" Macbook Pro trying to connect to a Panasonic VIERA TC-L42U30 as second monitor. I've used multiple hdmi-thunderbolt/mini displayport adapters and multiple hdmi cables and still no success. The Macbook does not sense the second monitor (TV). Help?!

I've been a Mac since 2008, so I know my way around the system pretty well. This issue, however, has me stumped. I had an iMac until now and only now am I experiencing some difficulty with my new MacBook Pro. The model I have is the newest 13" Macbook Pro model and I'm trying to connect a Panasonic VIERA TC-L42U30 42" HDTV as a second monitor via the Thunderbolt port.
It worked the first two times and hasn't worked since, after 10-15 attempts with different configurations, turning things on n off, restarting the mac, unplugging the cables, adapters, TV, resetting the P RAM, etc... I've used multiple hdmi-thunderbolt/mini displayport adapters and multiple hdmi cables and still no success. No matter what I do, the Macbook does not sense the TV as a second monitor anymore.
I took the MacBook Pro to the Apple Store, and their "genius" there had it working fine with a DVI connection to a regular monitor. The Panasonic TV I have has HDMI connections and one VGA connection which does not support HD, but no DVI option. I want an HD connection to mirror or extend my MacBook Pro screen. At the Apple Store, they didn't have a Thunderbolt/Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, so he could not try that out for me.
Anyone else have this configuration or another similar one with a Panasonic HDTV?
Ideas? Suggestions? Anything?! Help!!
P.S. I'm running Mountain Lion, if that wasn't already obvious. Everything is up to date in my App Store as well.

I have had the exact same issue but with a projector.
The issue lies with Mountian Lion 10.8.2.
I tried many a combination with no luck to get HDMI working.
Took my mac into the apple store and came to the conclusion it was the software, so I asked them to install 10.8 onto it (this is destructive so a backup is a must)
Bought my macbook home and voila, now displaying through my projector.
There is a small graphics update after 10.8.1 which seems to be the cause.

How can I use two screens to display one window

Before Mavericks, MAC OS allowed you to use two screens (next to each other) in order to display one (big) window of one application.
That would mean that a window would start on your left screen en would continue on the right screen.
With Mavericks, however, this not possible any more. The window of the application can only be seen on ONE of the screens (i.e. the left one).
Can any one tell me whether I've missed certain options or how to adjust my settings in order to get this feature back?

First, if you haven't already, set up the displays as an extended desktop:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then click Arrangement.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
Then, use Mission Control preferences to uncheck/turn off the option for "Displays have separate Spaces":
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Mission Control
Uncheck "Displays have separate Spaces"
That should enable you to stretch whatever window you want across multiple displays.

Can I use multiple sa-ns500 on the same network?

Is it possible to use multiple sa-ns500 speakers on the same network? they seem to want to have the same name on the network and therefore only 1 will connect at a time? Can I rename one somehow? Thanks!

Welcome to Sony Community.
Please check for the Secure Link option in the Home Theater System or A/V Receiver. This will help isolate the connection to the different Network speakers.
Yes, you can use multiple Network speakers on the same home network.
You can change the Device name using the Setting screen on the browser.
Follow the steps mentioned on the page # 34 and 35 of the User’s manual to start up the browser of the Network speakers and change the Device name.

We have three ipods in our home - new g5 (mine) and 2 minis. We all use the same computers. Basically our library contains around 15gb of music (everyones).
We have individual play lists - mine: good music; daughters rap or thumping stuff - lol.
When you first plug your new pods on you get a screen up which asks you what you want to do (its in preferences usually). Chose the option to automatically update the following playlists and select which one you want to match with that particular pod. My youngest daughter has a few playlists i.e on the go, chill etc. so she selects around 4. I have one, and my elder daughter has a couple.
Its easy to do (especially if I could work it out). Good luck.

i want to call multiple screens from lsmw
I need to call a three transaction from LSMW wich are subzequent steps for data entry.
1) first tcode to be called is eprodcust which creates some master data and using this master data and some fields of data creatd i need to call two more tcodes first iq01 to create meter and save then eg31 tcod to feed data.
Please suggest where in lsmw can i give options for suc hscnerio and call of subsequent screens.

we have few options to handle such cases , to avoid Locked Problems what you can do is
-->write BDC program within LSMW to create installation ( this will be created within step of 11 Convert Data ).
-->Based on the above BDC results ,run another BDC within LSMW to create Device.( this will be created within step of 11 Convert Data ).
-->third BDC records , let SAP do it thru LSMW or can you do it convert data step itself.
this approch needs lots of codes , so in worst case and if you dont want to break the loadings the follow this.
*Better to find any BAPI which will do creation of installation ,devices

Cmd-N on the keyboard opens a new window.
Also, +File -> New Window+ from the menu bar does the same thing.
You can also open a new tab in an existing window (click the plus sign or Cmd-T). Then click-hold on the tab and drag it outside the current window. A new window will open from the tab.

Unlock + Multiple Screens

I have a macbook pro retina and I have 3 monitors hooked up to it. I am also using the screen as a 4th display. The issue is when I unlock the computer and after putting in the password, the windows that were open are moved around on different screens. Any reason/fix for this?

A DMP connects to a single screen as it has a single HDMI output. Some monitors allow daisy chaining across multiple monitors but this a function of the monitor not the DMP. With this option you can get the image to fit across multiple monitors like a 2x2 monitor setup. The primary monitor connects to the DMP and then the rest of the monitors connect monitor to monitor using a HDMI cable. You then program the main monitor for how you want the screens to show the image.
The datasheet is referring to content can be placed in separate regions on a monitor. This way you could have a video in one region, text/image in another and an RSS feed in a third.
