Using multiple sets of speakers in stereo configuration (for movies)

I have hit a wall while trying to configure my stereo setup in my apartment. i'm trying to always take my stereo/audio setup to the full capabilities all the time, and i'm one small caveat away from making this idea work. hopefully someone can help me figure out this workaround.
i have my mac mini 2011 desktop setup to the right of the doorway (audio goes out FW800 to a pro tools mbox and outputs to the speakers), and there's a home stereo receiver to the left. the receiver plays to those shelf speakers, as well as speakers around the corner in the kitchen. both systems work well independently of each other, and sound like sets of speakers when they play sounds.
current situation: i finally ordered the long 1/8" extension cable to plug my mac mini headphones port into the stereo receiver, connecting the two. primarily so that i could switch outputs in system preferences and play tunes from my computer in the kitchen while cooking, but i learned about Aggregate devices and Multi-Output devices and i was able to use both systems at the same time, too.
but while i was ordering a 50' headphone cable extension, i got a long AC power cable and dvi as well so that the lady and i can put my monitor on the coffee table, connect it up, and sit on the couch to watch a movie with some popcorn n all that. the lady is pleased with a movie and popcorn, but i am unhappy with the options for getting the movie to sound right. We're watching pretty much in the sweet spot between the two systems.. here's my options:
1) __LR or LR__ - play the sound from either individual set of speakers. lady is happy, i can't stand it.
2) LRLR - play each system in a stereo configuration, lady is still happy, but it's still phase inconsistent. i am unsatisfied.
3 LLRR - this is the holy grail.
inside of the Audio Midi Setup window, i created a multi-output device called FULL STEREO to use the mbox and the headphone output @ the same time, and tried to "configure speakers"
i want my mbox to play the right channel through both speakers, and the built in output to play the left channel on it's two speaks. but it's not an option. check the error message.
I am hoping to not have to get out the soldering iron to make this work, but i am thinking i may need to get a small mixer and make some custom cables! i wanted to come and ask for advice first. can anyone help?

Do I need an AirPort to attach to each set of speakers that I want to connect, or is there another kind of receiver I can hook up to the speakers that do not have any kind of WiFi or Bluetooth configuration?
You basically have two choices: 1) Place an AirPort Express base station at each of the speaker locations, or 2) Use an AirPlay-Ready receiver that offers whole-home audio support. The latter would require that all speakers be connected back to the receiver.
Also, if I am planning to set up the airplay by using the extended network configuration, then the Wifi base station does not need to be an AirPort station? I have Fios and had trouble last time I tried to hook up an AirPort in place of the router that they provided.
The AirPlay networking protocol requires either a wireless or wired connection between the AirPlay server (typically iTunes) and the AirPlay speaker (AirPort Express, Apple TV, or an AirPlay-Ready receiver or speaker). AirPlay will traverse over an extended Wi-Fi network regardless of which manufacturer hardware is used.

Hi. I connected my LG HDTV to my iMac using a mini-dvi to dvi adapter, and used a HDMI to dvi cable to hook up to my tv. I like to play movies on my tv, but I don't hear the sound, so I have to use my computer's speakers. I'm wondering, can I use my TV speakers to listen to a movie?

Thanks for your reply. I am using an Airporty Express to connect with my iMac. There is a cable going from the Airport Express into the Aux jacks on my Bose stereo. I connect wirelessly from my computer to the Express. At the bottom of the Airtunes window in a small button that allows me to choose between iTunes, Computer and Multiple Speakers. If I choose ITunes, the Bose is used. If I choose Computer, I get no music from either the computer speakers or the Bose. If I select Multiple Speakers, a small window opens that has two checkboxes in it. Computer is always checked. If I check the box for Itunes, I get music from the Bose only. I have not been able to get music from the computer since I hooked up the Airport Express. Hope this explanation helps.

How to use Correlation set to persist record in BPEL for multiple request

I need to persist record in BPEL as it a stateful.I am using soa suite 11.1.1.5 v.The purpose is to persist multiple messages from single service/partnerLink(JMSAdapter)and aggregated to form a group message using BPEL correlation set concept
There are 5 message in a JMS queue like 1st message ->one,2nd message->two,3rd message->three,4th message->four,5th message->empty
All are text messages.Last message/string is an empty message.
IS it possible in bpel to fetch all the 5 message(using JMS adapter) under one single instance and append all messsage until empty string is not coming?
My final output would be one single message:*onetwothreefour*

How would I Set up an External Hard-drive for movies to share with AppleTV? and Also can I use the internal Itunes Library to the Ext HD1 then Ext HD2?

I have tried to set up an external HD but after following the directions the movies in Apple TV ( My Movies) showed a film strip with the note the location could not be found. I deleted the movie content under the internal movies in Itunes. I did notice a blue dot vs a grey dot net to the name of the movie. I appreciate if someone could poitn me to the correct step by step procedures. I would like to setup more than one Ext HD, as Ext HD1, Ext HD2 etc storing my movie collection. Any suggestions if the latest in ITUNES 10.5.2 and the AppleTV 1st and a 2nd generation are being used.

reply on the auto-generated mail it goes to [email protected] mailbox (which is managed by different team).

Can I use multiple tags and genius to select music for a certain event?

Hey,
So for example I may have a few favourite albums I like to listen to when I go to sleep, they may have different tags like folk, electronica. If I tagged them something like Folk sleep, electronica sleep, could I then find all albums with Sleep somewhere in the tag using Genius. I want to do the same for albums I like to listen to when I run or when going out or when sad etc....
I find the tags folk, rock too limiting, I would rather mostly select music based on moods / events. I don't want a play list, I just want to be able to see music that I like to sleep to and select one album from the list.
Any suggestions?

What you need is to learn how to use Smart Playlists.
When iTunes is open, at the extreme lower-left corner is a plus sign. This opens a regular Playlist that you can drag songs into it. If hold down the Option key, the plus symbol will change to a gear symbol. When you click on you will get a Smart Playlist set-up dialog. It's fairly self-explanatory how to use it. In your case you want to do something like Genre contains "sleep". To add more rules just click the plus button on the right.

Using multiple apple ids on a single pc for photostream/calendar

Is it possible to keep two apple id's signed on for photostream to one pc? So far I have only found that you can have one account signed on at a time. I would like both my iphone and my wifes iphone to be able to load pictures onto our single pc with both apple id's logged in at the same time. Also is their a way to share a calandar with two apple id's?

Adding on to this... we have, what I feel is a pretty basic scenario... I have an iPhone, iPad and MacBook. My wife has an iPhone and iPad. My oldest daughter has an iPad Touch. We keep all of our photos on our family iMac. I was assuming Photostream would allow us each via our own apple ids to take pictures and they would all goto this one area.
Does this not work?

Using multiple Development Configurations

I am runningn NWDS 7.0.0.6 and I want to configure multipe Development Configurations because I have to connect to serveral NWDIs (to differenct customers).
Any Idea?

With a single NWDS instance you <b>can</b> actually import multiple development configurations, not just one. If you want to import configurations from different NWDI servers, you would have to switch the Development Configuration Pool settings under Window -> Preferences -> Java Development Infrastructure to point to the other NWDI's SLD.
The biggest problem with the current releases of NWDS is however that they cannot use multiple sets of credentials for logging on to these development configurations: You can only log on to configs of multiple NWDI servers if you have the same userid and password on these servers.
Note that the Development Configuration Pool setting is only used when you want to import configurations, it is not used during the log on process.

Can I use multiple sa-ns500 on the same network?

Is it possible to use multiple sa-ns500 speakers on the same network? they seem to want to have the same name on the network and therefore only 1 will connect at a time? Can I rename one somehow? Thanks!

Please check for the Secure Link option in the Home Theater System or A/V Receiver. This will help isolate the connection to the different Network speakers.
Yes, you can use multiple Network speakers on the same home network.
You can change the Device name using the Setting screen on the browser.
Follow the steps mentioned on the page # 34 and 35 of the User’s manual to start up the browser of the Network speakers and change the Device name.

Follow the limk below which will take you to the GL Users Guide. Go to page 7-54 and there is a section on setting up a set of books. There is also a section on accounting for multiple companies using multiple sets of books. I refered to this when I set up new sets of books for my company.

Stereo Surround for Multi Channel Sounds Cards... Not Working

I have an Audidy 2 and utilize the Stereo Surround mode to listen to my music coming from all 5 of my speakers. I upgraded to iTunes 7 and noticed sound only from the left and right channels. I thought something had happened to the Sound Blaster setting, but it was still configured for 5.1 surround. I noticed all other sounds in Windows were coming in stereo surround... just not iTunes.
Prior to upgrading, version 6 allowed this functionality. It's nice to listen to the music in a large room coming from all speakers.
Has anyone else had this problem or can they duplicate it???

I have a ZZZZ transparent table with data, that is not a pool or cluster table, and would want to be able to use Report Writer to search from this table and create RW reports.
1. Is this possible?
2. What are the set up tables needed to configure for RW? I could think of only T804A and T804B.
Does anyone have a soft copy of the steps in doing this? I am going through the SAP Help and it seems that there are steps missing, and I am unable to complete the process of creating a custom Library for this table.

COPA is a mini data warehouse and each company have to define the datasource structure, called profit segment, based on their own profit analysis requirement before they create any PA reports. Since the profit segment could be different from company to company, no univeral PA report can be used for all companies, that is also why SAP normally do not provide any standard reports in KE30.
So, you have to first define the characteristics, value fields, and profit segment with the characteristics and value fields (KEA0). Then create your own PA reports with the segment you define forms (KE34, KE31).
Forms are the structures required as the basis for the definition of reports

6602: Want to route a dedicated DIO (0-7) Line configured for output to a RTSI line

PXI-6602: I want to use a dedicated DIO (0-7) line configured for output to trigger all 8 counters on the 6602 card. The counters are configured for two-signal-edge-separation measurement. I Have tried to use Route-Signal.vi to route PFIn (0-7) to RTSI bus with no luck.

You should be able to trigger counters on the 6602 using the Digital Lines DIO (0-7).
Use the Set Attribute VI and set the attribute value type to Enabled and attribute ID to Start Trigger.
Wire the output of Set Attribute Task ID to the Task ID input of the Route Signal VI. Select the start trigger for the Signal Name input, PFI n for Signal Source input and PFI line Number for Signal Source Line Number input. Try this and see if this works.
