is it possible to use ISA server as a primary radius server and steel belt as a backup. if so is there some documentation to use them together

you could point the controller(s) to multiple AAA Servers but i'd like to point out that the way controller uses them is in a serial manner. That means, unless the first configured AAA server fails, the traffic is not sent to the second AAA server, and so on. therefore, it's not designed to load-balance across multiple AAA serves. Reading an Article by Arup Nanda 04.23.2007 talks about using multiple oracle homes for patching. We've installed oracle again and now have 2 Oracle Homes (db_1 and db_2). If I look at my service startup for the database I see this:
c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\bin\ORACLE.EXE TestDB.
If I try and start my database out of the db_2 install I'l receive errors about the init file not being located in the db_2 location. Should I copy all my files from db_1 over to db_2?

Are you talking about the user greeting? Then have them record the greeting anywhere they want in whatever language they want. If you install multiple locales you can have each user record greeting in different language as well and then the appropriate language greeting will be played on who addresses this user by using "inherit language" feature. Though this will only work when addressing messages from withn voicemail, not by dialing from phone as that will simply use the default routing rule, unless you create custom rules.

Hi bginsberg. I know how important it is to keep in touch with your wife. That sounds like a great idea to get around your work firewalls, but Verizon Wireless doesn't have an outgoing SMTP server anymore. http://bit.ly/QgXOOm But many email providers offer a free email account that you can use as an SMTP service if you need. I would suggest to contact your ISP/Email provider for availability of their SMTP email service.

How to Use A Timemachine Back Up Drive for backup and storage?

I bought a 1TB external drive, and installed a 1TB SSD in my Macbook Pro 13in Early 2011 i-5, and have 426gb free, the other 200 or so is for bootcamp. I used the external as a timemachine back up, but there should be some extra space right??? I need someplace for storage for my videos and photos for work, and I don't want to go out and buy another 500gb external. Can I just use the one for timemachine for both timemachine and storage?

I plan on getting a second drive eventually but this is more of a last minute kind of transfer, i need to take a bunch of wedding videos and move them over to my laptop, and I don't have the money or time to get another external.
how would I use the current one I have for storage, because when I plugged it in it reads it only as a time machine back up and drive and opens differently, I don't have it on me now to test it again, but just drag and drop files into it?

Hi, I'm a primary school teacher and have just purchased 5 ipods to use with Year 2 students in the classroom. Is there any way of syncing the songs and/or short movies to all 5 ipods? I don't mind paying for these things once but not 5 times each time I need a little video! Please help me...the kiddies are aching to use them!

No problem... you can sync the same data, including purchased media, to multiple iPods. The 5-computer limit applies to the number of computers you can authorise to play your tracks, not the iPods they can be played on.

Mail.app using multiple identities and outgoing servers, how to map them?

Hi all,
I am using mail account and my main account (gmail) is defined as IMAP on it.
In my gmail settings, all my other mails are forwarded to this e-mail account so I don't need to define my other mails to get those mails (since I get them from my mail account).
When sending an e-mail or replying, I want to use the same identity that the mail was sent to and the same outgoing mail server.
For now, I successfully defined my different identities in my main account (i.e., I added them in the e-mail address field with comma separated values), and I also managed to define different outgoing servers (from account -> outgoing servers). However, my problem is that, I cannot link an identity to an outgoing server. They are all linked to my default mail's outgoing server by default and I have to manually select them every time I sent an e-mail. However what I want is the following:
Let's say that I have 2 identities: id1 and id2 and two outgoing server os1 and os2.
I want the mail.app to select os1 whenever I selected id1 and os2 whenever I select id2.
I want the mail.app to select os2 whenever it decides to use id2 (because the e-mail was sent to id2) and the same for the other os-id pair.
Is this possible? All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, and do ask if you need more information.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
Also consider deleting and reinstalling the Mail Account in question.

Trying to use new 500GB external hard drive for backup for first time

I'm doing our normal Clonezilla Backup procedure and ran out of disk space for the first time. The normal person who does this is on vacation. I put the new hard drive in for the backup, but when I ran Clonezilla it didn't recognize it.
I looked in Server Manger and it shows it as Unknown with a red arrow and not initialized. It's shown as unallocated. What do I need to do at this point? Do you have instructions or a link to instructions? I'm new to working with servers,
etc. I probably need to format the new external drive but I'm not sure how. This is a simple server, without VM's, etc.

Use WRT350N and USB hard drive for backup

I intend to use a Western Digtal MY BOOK Essential Edition (500 GB USB external hard drive) with my WRT350N router for backing up my data every night. Has anyone used this combination? Can you tell me if there are any obstacles I should be aware of? The backup software I will use is Genie Backup Manager. I think I am going to need help in configuring the router to use the external hard drive.

There were rumors floating around that the USB port in the 350N can not handle anything over 250Gb. Since the drive I used with the 350N was not that large I have no personal knowledge of whether that is true or not.
In any event, using the current firmware for the 350n (1.3.02) you can be assured that the USB will totally lock up about every day or two and the router and hard drive will have to be reset. Using the beta firmware that you can either request from Linksys or find available from someone on the Internet, that problem APPEARS to be fixed. The only problem is that a gigabit network connection will now lock up every day or two. That was my personal experience and what I have read by others.
My recommendation would be not to buy the 350N until they release firmware that fixes these problems otherwise you'll be as frustrated with the product as I am and others are.

SSL: how to use Multiple Private key/Certificate pair for authentication.

i am implementing SSL in java using X509 Certificate/private key combination.
i have two set of private key/certificate pair.
one is factory default and another is generated at run time.
my problem is to try ssl connection with both pairs on same tcp/ip connection.
e.g. on server side: first try ssl connection with factory default certificate, if it fails try connecting with generated certificate on same tcp/ip connection.
on client side: if generated certificate(this certificate was generated at server side) is present first perform server authentication using this certificate otherwise authenticate server with factory default certificate.
can someone please help and let me know how do i need to configure both ends(client and server) for achieving the same.

Client code does not contain any default truststore and needs a certificate for authentication.Of course it does. OpenSSL has a way of doing that: some kind of equivalent for the truststore. None of the stuff you've posted here about generating certificates at runtime has any bearing on that problem.
It's like this. The idea of PKI with SSL is as follows:
- the server has a private key and a signed certificate. Preferably it's signed by a CA that the client already trusts, otherwise if it's self-signed it has to be exported from the server's keystore and imported into the truststores of all the clients.
- the client has a truststore that trusts the server, one way or the other, see above.
- the server's private key is private to it. Nobody else has it. Nobody else can ever get it. If it ever leaks, the server is compromised, and server authentication via that private key now means absolutely nothing. You have lost security.
- the server sends its cert to the client along with a digital signature signed by its private key.
- the client (a) decides whether it trusts the cert, via its truststore, and (b) verifies the digital signature, which establishes that the server owns the certificate.
At this point the server is authenticated to the client and the SSL connection is open. It can now be used as an ordinary socket connection.
If you want client authentication too, you need all the above in reverse as well, i.e. reading server for client and client for server throughout. Note particularly that each client must have its own private key. Otherwise the private key isn't private, so signing something with it doesn't establish ownership, so client authentication isn't valid.
You need to understand all this stuff and relate it to the apparently broken security design of your application. Generating a private key and a certificate at runtime is complete nonsense within the context of PKI and SSL. It proves nothing, establishes nothing, authenticates nothing; it just wastes time.

Can you make a page layout and use multiple pictures on one page for a slide presentation?

I thought I remebered seeing a tutorial on how to make page layouts for use in your slide presentations. I can not find this now. I am using the theme of scrapbook but have several pictures that should go together on one page or frame. I do not have iphoto11. So I am more limited I think. I do not have time to upgrade at this point. Is there anyway to customize my slide presentation in this way?

Yes You can in iDVD make it to add a folder with Your pictures too (to be opened on PC/Mac - not viewed on DVD-player)

I have searched, and I just can't seem to find how to do something, I do not have the code atm, but easy enough to explain...
I have a GUI that has 3 rows of 3 fields...

I also have a tabbed file that has the input for each of these fields, it looks something like...

Do one thing at a time. First, define your Employee class. Compile it, debug it. Test it. Make sure that you can create Employees, set their names, phone numbers, etc., and get them back.
Once that works, familiarize yourself with arrays, if necessary, completely separately from your Employee class.
Once you're comfortable with arrays and with defining a new class (i.e., Employee), write a tiny test program that just, say, creates an array of a certain size and populates it with Employees, and then iterates over it printing out each Employee's information to the console.
Once that works, set it aside. Now work on a GUI. Start by just displaying one or two hardcoded names and phone numbers. Once that works, add a bit more to it--say by getting that hardcoded information from inside Employee objects.
And so on.
Right now you're biting off too much at once. Keep working on one very small new step at a time, only move on to the next step once the previous one is solid, and do the steps independently of each other first, and then combine their respective results. It may sound like a lot of work, but I promise you, in the end, it's faster, easier, and far less frustrating to do it this way.
At any given step, if you get stuck, post a question here, providing an [url http://sscce.org]SSCCE that shows what you're trying to do, and clearly explain exactly what problems you're having.

in your freight cost document you need to have an item for each vendor. The partner is only used on item level, there is no partner on header level.
You need to set up the proper determination of item type and partner role.
