Using Multiple Videos in Keynote on iPad 2

I want to insert multiple videos in a Keynote presentation and have the presentation run automatically without having to touch the screen. Is there any way to add transitions to videos (the videos are roughly 2 - 3 minutes long and they play sequentially without any other slides between them)?

How to use multiple videos in template

I'm using the Directions HD template in Motion 3 and trying to figure out how to use more than one drop zone. When I drop a video into the first drop zone, it appears in all drop zones. How can I use multiple videos?

Step 1: Find the Drop Zone layer (inside the Video group/folder) and select the Custom behavior and type Command - K (Convert to Keyframes from the Object menu)
Step 2: Duplicate the Drop Zone the number of times you want to be able to change media.
Step 3: For Each drop zone, move the playhead to the position you need to set an In Point; then do the Out Points... I recommend overlapping the Outs and Ins and crossfading using opacity keyframes. [For some of these, this will mean a 1 or 2 frame crossfade... or pick your points for straight cuts. ]
Step 4: Select all the Drop Zones and create a group (Command-Shift-G).
Step 5: Select the "Clone Layer" (it will be unchecked in the Layers List inside the Video group), and drag the newly created group of drop zones into the Source well.
You can mix up the way the background (emitted copy) video plays by clicking the Random Seed button at the buttom of the Emitter > Particle Cell inspector.

Why can't I use a Bluetooth connection to Use iPhone to control Keynote on iPad?

The help function in Keynote for iPad explains how this should work, but it doesn't!

I have the same issue. Anyone figure this out? When teaching, cannot use wi-fi since requires log-in (which times out on the iPhone). Supposedly should be able to use Bluetooth to connect, but the iPad does not see the iPhone even though both are discoverable.
Really need this to work!

Can't add video to Keynote on iPad

I'm trying to add a video clip to a Keynote presentation on the iPad2. All the advice says I should add the video to iTunes, tap the media browser and select the video from a photo album. The problem is: the videos aren't in a photo album, they're in Videos. If I try to import the video to the iPad via iPhoto, it won't transfer. The videos all play fine on the iPad, but Keynote just can't see them.
Help.

I transfer my videos using Mover+ and then it appears in my camera roll, adding to Keynote is easy.

HT4640 How do I play a "movie" not a video on keynote for iPad.

I spent two hours googling this problem with VERY mixed results. I am trying to import a video I recorded with a camera onto my iPad so that I can embed it in a Keynote presentation. First, despite tips on how to change the format/file name, I could not get the file onto my ipad using an sd card and the camera connection kit. I put the video into itunes, tried to sync. Despite being the proper .mov format, it would not sync to the ipad as it "cannot be played on this ipad". I googled this problem, I was told to go to the advanced menu in itunes and convert it to an ipad format. There is no more advanced menu. I googled this problem, I found that the settings are now distributed throughout the other menus. I finally found the option in the File menu. I converted the file. It transfered to the iPad. Whew, finally, I'm done. No. The video is now only accessible in the Movies app. Keynote refuses to recognize this as a valid place to select videos: there is no option for this. What a gigantic waste of time. How can I put this video on my iPad in such a way as to use it with Keynote. I have to say, that I used to flaunt Mac's ease of use... I can easily say that this nightmare has reversed that opinion completely.
Btw, I am using windows xp, and an iPad 2 with 6.0.1. iTunes version 11.0.1.12
I also tried creating a playlist in itunes with the movie and syncing. This also did nothing.

Using multiple speakers with AirPlay on iPad

On my Mac I can play music from iTunes on my computer, Apple TV and on my Airport Express. But on the iPad I can only pick one, is there anyway i can choose multiple speakers on the iPad?

I have an ATV3 in the living room, one in the bedroom, and one in the garage (for streaming music out there too...). To get the whole compound in sync and have the same music everywhere AND control it from my iPhone, it was / is this easy:
In iTunes, select multiple airplay devices so everywhere you want the music playing is selected. Use the Apple Remote app on your iPhone / iPad and control your iTunes, NOT your ATV. Bada-bing! Full house party music to all the devices and controlled by the phone in your pocket!!!
They should still let you do this from any iOS device directly though...

Loop videos in keynote on iPad

Hi
is there a way that i can loop videos in a keynote presentation on the iPad?
I made a 3D animation of a protein as an mpeg file and would like to loop the clip so it keeps on turning around until i go to the next slide... Is there a way to do that or do i have to create a video on my pc?

Can you control videos in Keynote for iPad?

Just got hold of my first iPad and I'm putting together a simple Keynote presentation on it. So far really impressed with how slick the Keynote app is, apart from one thing however...
When you include a video on a slide, there seems to be absolutley no way of controlling it. Am I missing something here??
I've got a 1.5 minute long video on a slide. When I tap once, it starts playing. However that seems to be it... there is no way to pause, scrub, or even start the video again...all you can do is tap again to advance to the next slide, then swipe back to go back and start the video again.
Seems crazy?! The app has so many other advanced features I would have thought this one was quite easy...

Embedding clipped Youtube video into Keynote on iPad?

Is it possible to embed a clipped youtube video into a keynote presentation on the ipad? I know how to do it in Powerpoint, but that doesn't help me as I don't have powerpoint at home and am having to rely on trying to do it with Keynote on my ipad.

Two possibilities I can think of. MAke sure that the side button on your ipad is set to screen lock & not mute. If it is set to mute, you'll need to slide it to unmute it before the speaker will work. Otherwise, it sounds like some kind of software glitch. I'd do a reset (I think you hold down the power button & the button on the top for like 10 seconds, until you get the screen asking if you want to turn your ipad off. Follow through, give it a few seconds, then restart it.

Use multiple ID's on the iPad 2?

My son and I have two separate ID's, and accounts. He can pay for what he wants! Anyway, we both use my iPad 2. When he went to change to his ID on the iPad to purchase an application, it warned him that he could NOT change back to the original account, mine, for 90 days? What is that about? He needs that application for school but I may want to purchase something and do not want to wait 90 days to switch back to the original, MINE, account to do so?

The 90 days is set by having automatic downloading of content set on the device: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 . And, unless you possibly reset the iPad back to factory defaults (and I don't know for sure that that will remove it), you won't be able to change the account on it for 90 days - whether that 90 days also applies to content synced from your computer I don't know

PE 12 Sluggish using multiple video formats

Hi,
Been using Premiere Elements 12 for about a year. Usually not too many issues, and when I've had them, someone here in the forum is nice enough to help me out. Been creating an online interview project with a friend for YouTube. Lately, even with no budget, we're getting a tad more sophisticated technically, I'm using video files from various sources that aren't in the same format. I'm having problems with video freezing up while audio is running fine. For the episode I finished last night, there are files from a Canon DSLR in .mov format 1920x1080 24fps, from my Samsung S4 in .mp4 format 1920x1080 23fps (can that be right?), some from an old Alesis Videotrack (for shaky handheld) in .mp4 format 640x480 30fps, and files from Skype in .mp4 format 1280x720 29fps. (Evaer makes an app that records vid & audio to two separate files from both computers during a Skype conversation.Very cool) The PE 12 file is, I believe, 720 24fps that I'm importing all this to. So I'm just wondering if all this mixing and matching is the root of my problem. End up rendering during editing constantly but it doesn't last that long. When rendered down to a final file, it's just fine playing in Windows Media Player. Should I be converting the files to the same format somehow before importing to PE? The final video is 1280x720, 24 fps.

I shoot with 2 quadcopters - DJI Phantom Vision 2 + (1080p, 30fps, square) and the DJI Inspire 1 (4Kp, 30fps, square).
I also shoot with a Canon Vixia HF11 (1080i, 30fps,square)
I'm getting the WORST results when I render out my files. I'd like to be able to finish with a file size that is manageable on the web with superior quality (like everyone else in the world). My final video is only about 1:15 in length and I'm getting a very blocky/artifacty result.
