Using my blackberry without a data bolt on just wifi. Please help
I got a Blackberry curve 8500 for christmas and want to use it just wi-fi. I don't need a data bolt on on the package. Can this be done?? I have had conflicting information and want to know if anyone else has had this problem. Please please please help. My contract is with O2. Any help at all would be appreciated.
Yes, you can use it for Phone calls, SMS texting and using the WiFi hotspot browser (Options > Advanced > Browser = set to Hotspot and save). Now you can surf the web using that browser. You can use limited application such as (maybe) Pandora radio and those that work on WiFi only.
You will not have RIM push email functions, the BlackBerry browser, and any apps which make use of the BlackBerry data like Facebook for BlackBerry, AppWorld, Maps, Messenger, etc.

You don't "choose" to use th 3g network.
If you have paid for it in your plan and 3g coverage is available, your phone will automatically use it when necessary.
3g provides faster internet speeds than 2g, so you can watch video or download stuff faster. Wifi is normally faster than 3g.
Your iphone gps is "assisted", meaning it uses network data to calculate your position.
Also, you would still need the network to download maps, directions etc as they are not on your device. -
Hi all,
I am using Adobe Pro 11 and on opening a pdf I am getting error 'Insufficient Data for an Image'. Please help and provide a workaround if the solution not there.
I have already set the preferences to for page view to low zoom settings, and page fit view settings, but it never opens the pdf. Please check and provide a solution asap.

A data recovery company MAY be able to do it for a price. The Disabled is a very good security feature.
JWhy not just restore from the last backup you have?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Open your picture file
Access the clone stamp tool
Hold down the ALT key on the keyboard and left click on the area from which you wish to clone, then release the ALT key, and click to place the pixels at the destination
TIPS:
It is a good idea to open a blank layer at the top in the layers palette, and do the cloning on this layer. Be sure that "sample all layers" at the top is checked. You can change the layer opacity if necessary
Use the bracket keys next to the letter p on the keyboard to increase & decrease the size of the cursor

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try closing the App Store app via the iPad's taskbar and then do a soft-reset and see if you can install it after the iPad has restarted. To close the App Store : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the App Store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
Soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I don't know exactly when this started, but Winamp became my default search and homepage.. The homepage issue was easy, but the search issue is bigger than I expected. It ALWAYS uses Winamp (Powered by AOL) as my default search. Please help. Thank you.

Try to reset it. just press hold the on/off botton (ignore the red slider) just hold it then the ipad is automatically reset. dont worry about your file, there nothing happen to it. Godbless.

Last several months, everytime I download rental movies, looks like it is downloading (20 hours sometimes to download), and then when completed, get the error message that error message occurred -42100 - try again later. Then the download is duplica
