Using my cell camera to feed photos to itouch via bluetooth

When will the iTouch with 3.0 software be able to accept photos from my cell phone? Bluetooth seems to be a fast way to get them to my device for uploading to Facebook.

No. Bluetooth in the iPod touch (not iTouch) is only for Stereo Bluetooth headphones for listening to music. Nothing else.
You can email photos directly from your cell phone to facebook already:

  • Is it possible to use an ipad2 as a keyboard with a ps3 via Bluetooth

Is there a app, or even possible to use your iPad to connect to a ps3 via Bluetooth for use of a keyboard or transferring files even.

The iPad cannot act as a Bluetooth keyboard for other Bluetooth devices and iOS does not support the File Transfer Bluetooth profiles for transferring files to other Bluetooth devices.
There are over 20 different Bluetooth profiles, and no device supports all of them. In the case of iOS Apple has included support for a small subset of the profiles.

I doubt some 3G phone not compatible with MAC OS. Please advise.

    hey Edclange,
in your sprint unlimited plan, do you have to pay for that or is that part of the phone as modem plan?
    In response to your discussion,
    Lawrence Horton
I do this all the time (in the United States,
though), so it's definitely possible. You'll need to
check with your wireless phone service provider, and
ask if they support it. Then you'll need a phone
    that has dial-up networking capability.
Once you have all that sorted, go to Bluetooth
preferences and click Set Up New Device and follow
the prompts. If you're lucky, your wireless provider
will be in the list of Modem types. You'll need to
figure out how to dial up an internet connection with
your particular service provider. A web search will
    probably turn up something.
I use Sprint (with an unlimited data plan), with a
Samsung SPH-A920. All I had to do was configure the
bluetooth modem as Sprint Vision, and enter #777 as
    the dial-up number.

  • Sending music, videos and photos via Bluetooth

What can I do to receive and send music, photos and videos via Bluetooth?

For the most part, you can't do that. There are some apps that will transfer photos from one iPhone to another iPhone. Check the App Store for those.

  • How do you get OS X to use iPhoto on camera import instead of Photos?

Okay, have iPhoto 9.6.1 and can open iPhoto and all... but whenever I connect my camera to the computer to import photos, it always defaults to Photos.  I want it to default to iPhoto.  Is there a way to get it to stop using Photos by default?  Can't rename or delete the Photos app.  Have no Photos Library so I don't want to have to exit out of Photos and launch iPhoto every time I want to import new photos.  I just want Photos to stay out of the picture entirely.  Let iPhoto do what it used to do and stop trying to hijack everything.

    PMiles:
Hard links are used in Photos to prevent duplication of media. You can verify that yourself by exporting some of your library to a small USB drive, enough to more than half fill the drive, then using Option Open to create a Photos library from the exported one. You'll note everything fits on the small drive. The use of hard links (multiple names for the same file) is what allows Time Machine to keep many many dates worth of backups without duplicating files that have not changed between dates.
    Also, here's a quote from David Pogues's review: https://www.yahoo.com/tech/everything-worth-knowing-about-switching-to-os-x-1101 29491789.html
"What’s wild is that Photos accesses your existing photo library. It doesn’t convert the original photos into some new format. You’ll be able to switch back and forth among the three programs — iPhoto, Aperture, Photos — without having to duplicate any files or use up any more disk space.
There is one big catch, however: Your library splits at the moment you install Photos.
After you first run Photos, when you edit, add, or delete any pictures, those changes show up only in the one program you’re using at the time. New pictures you add to Photos appear only in Photos; new pictures you add to iPhoto appear only in iPhoto, and so on. (You can easily export/import them if necessary.) Same thing with edits you make: They’re saved only in the program where you make those changes."

Correct. You don't use iTunes to get photos off the iPhone.

If you are talking about landscape pictures, hold the phone so the camera is at the top and the volume buttons on the bottom. If you hold it with the volume buttons on the top, the camera is upside down.

  • How can I keep every single photo from saving to "collections""my photo stream""camera role" and just use one folder? And why do I have to delete the same pictures 4 times? In "collections""myphotostream"camera role""deleted photos" I need ONE FOLDER

im sick of deleting the same picture 4 separate times, I want to limit everything to one folder and only have to delete one time, how? Why does this have to be so complicated

Photos you take on your camera are in the Camera Roll and are like the film in a camera.
Photo Stream is an independent stream of photos from all devices that are logged onto the same iCloud account and that have Photo Stream turned on. Photo Stream photos are kept in the cloud for 30 days or up to 1000 photos, whichever comes first, so unless you have a particular photo you just don't want to stay out there for 30 days, you don't really need to delete Photo Stream Photos. They are temporary. Your device will continue to keep your Photo Stream photos from prior to the 30 day limit, but if you switch Photo Stream off in iCloud and then right back on, the only photos that will re-display in Photo Stream on that device are the ones that remain within the 30 Day/1000 photo parameter.
Collections is simply a single place which shows all of the photos that you have on your device. You do not need to delete photos from Collections. It is just a single place where you can see the contents of all of your albums.
Photos in albums that you have created on the device itself are tied to the photos in your Camera Roll, so if you delete them from the Camera Roll, it will tell you that it will also be deleted from an album.
Albums that you have sync'd from your computer should be removed the same way you got them there - by hooking the device up to a the computer you did the sync with, and un-selecting the album from the Photo profile screen.
So, really, there are only two places that you need to delete photos - Camera Roll and Photo Stream.
    Cheers,
    GB
