Using my Ipod through the iLife menu

Hi,
Really new Mac owner so please forgive me if I get some terminology wrong...
I've just been going through the iLife menu (using the remote) and using that I can go into 'music' and play any of my music which is in iTunes... but it doesn't seem to recognise that I have my iPod connected. Does anybody know if there is a way to get this to play the music/podcasts/playlists/videos which are on my iPod as well as those which are on my iTunes?

Ummm...gee. I'm not sure I'd want to use the ipod touch in the gym, actually. I'd be too afraid of dropping the darn thing or just getting it messed up in general. I think there are armbands available for iPhones, so maybe an armband for the iPod touch will be available soon enough as well? Just a matter of waiting, I think. But yeah...if you have an older iPod on you, you may want to stick to using that instead for now.

If you have iTunes 11 on your laptop then you can enable the left-hand sidebar on it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC. You should then be able to connect the iPod and it should show on that left-hand sidebar, and underneath it should be a Music section e.g. similar to :
Select that and the music should be shown on the right-hand side of iTunes, which you can then use to delete it.
You should be able to remove all content from the iPod directly on it via Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings, as any apps etc that are on it will be tied to the previous owner's id - that will also remove any photos from the iPod

Launch iTunes on your computer.
From the menu bar click Store / View My Account
Click the Edit button next to: Edit Payment Information
You can edit your billing information there.

New tabs dont pop up when I click to add a new tab, either by the tab bar or through the file menu.

I've tried the add a tab button on the tab bar, I've tried right clicking on the tab bar to add a tab, and I've gone through the file menu and nothing happens, like the command was never made....all other features work just fine..is there something wrong in my settings that I need to change??

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

We have three ipods in our home - new g5 (mine) and 2 minis. We all use the same computers. Basically our library contains around 15gb of music (everyones).
We have individual play lists - mine: good music; daughters rap or thumping stuff - lol.
When you first plug your new pods on you get a screen up which asks you what you want to do (its in preferences usually). Chose the option to automatically update the following playlists and select which one you want to match with that particular pod. My youngest daughter has a few playlists i.e on the go, chill etc. so she selects around 4. I have one, and my elder daughter has a couple.
Its easy to do (especially if I could work it out). Good luck.

I do not understand your question. You do not formate an iPod. Please explain better the problem. what lead up to the problem and what you have tried so far.

Goods Receipt through the RF menu, open delivery?

I am trying to do a good recepit through the RF menu. Once I click on the goods receipt , it takes me to the screen which asks for PO/delivery #, Material # and quantity.
When I enter in the PO, mat # and Qty , it gives me the error message "No Open Delivery"
So I went through the RF screen overview documentation which also says that "Material must exist in the order and in the open delivery"
Can anyone please explain what this means and how can I create an open delivery?

Hi, The issue may be due to this - the component is batch managed but the batch data is blank in the component list of the Purchase Order Item. Or a batch is maintained in the PO item component list but the stock for the same batch is not available with Vendor, i.e. stock with some other batch may be available.
In a receipt for Sub-cont PO, 101 happens for FG and 543 happens for component. But there is no option to provide the component details in a delivery. So in standard system, when 101 happens via a delivery, 543 will be posted in the background. So any error in posting 543 will result in a blank screen without any error message.
You can fix this by maintaining correct batch in the PO component list.
But there is another issue - you cannot do 'cancel posting' and 'return delivery' for this receipt. Only you can reverse the inbound delivery and you should know that the recevied stock shouldn't have been processed to do reversal of inbound delivery.

Not that I'm aware of. You just export JPEG copies to a folder that you can point iTunes to. For instance, I have created a folder in my Pictures folder called Apple TV. And within that folder I have other folders of pictures that I can choose from in iTunes to share with Apple TV. But there doesn't seem to be any way to share a Lightroom slideshow. If you have laid to create a video file that would probably work. Apple TV is a little clunky in my opinion. Some things are a little more difficult to do now than they were a while back. I probably haven't provided you with much help, but just keep experimenting and I think you will figure it out.

The 'Winmail.dat' problem has been extensively covered in these forums, I would search for that (a Google search works well) and unfortunately I have not seen the pdf print problem before, but assuming the software is current and functions normally (other than the pdf print problem) I have no suggestion other than the obvious (but time consuming) re-installation of Office.

This forum is for Apple's defunct office suite 'AppleWorks' - since the word count is not in the places you mention I assume you are talking about Microsoft Word? Though it's just possible someone in this forum might also use Word and know the answer, you would stand a higher chance of getting an answer in Microsoft's own forums. You could also try asking in the forum applicable to your operating system - Lion, Mavericks or whatever - on the reasonably chance of finding someone familiar with Word.
