Using one AppleID I am trying to sync iCal to 2 iMacs, 2iPhones and an iPad2. It works except for 1 iPhone. Help?

All of the devices sync together except 1 of the iPhones? Does anyone know why this may happen?

As all other devices are working fine there must be something afoot with that particular iPhone.
Suggestions on the affected iPhone:
Go to Settings > General > About -- You should be running version 5.1 -- If not Go to Settings > General > Software Update to install the current version.
Go to Settings > iCloud > Delete Account
Turn your iPhone off: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
Turn your iPhone on
Go to Settings > iCloud > fill in your AppleID and password and flip the switch for calendars to the ON position and see if the calendars show up correctly.

You can either connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Transfer Purchases. Or, depending on which country that you are in, you might be able to re-download it on your computer's iTunes and for future purchases be able to use automatic downloads.

I have a university Email (with Calendar) and then iCal on my desktop, laptop, ipad and iphone. I am finding that my calendars are not synced at all.. Either I get duplicates or I only get what I put on specific device.
BTW- I do NOT have On My Mac calendars checked..
is it easy to fix on my own or do I need to get to a Genius at an Apple store?

iCloud is coming this Fall, and it's supposed to solve these problems, if you can wait a little longer.

In using it, I found out other's have had this issue and it likely means you have a 3G iPad? If you do, go into settings and turn off cellular data, then try to update again and you should be OK........

Thank you for your interest. I use apple mail to access my two accounts -I guess they are 3rd party accounts. One is a gmail acount and the other is a bigpond account. I admit to a lack of a high level of literacy when it comes to the language around all of this. For example, I am aware that I have an iCloud email account as I managed to set it up, but don't really understand the purpose of it as the last thing I need is yet another email account to oversee.

Did you go into iTunes to change the location of your media files? if not you will need to go into iTunes and click on preference and select the advance tab then click the iTunes Media folder location. Select the location of your on external hard drive.

What version of the Mac OS X do you have on your computer? The version of iTunes that you can install is dependent on the operating system that you have. For example, the current version of iTunes requires OS X version 10.7.5 or later.

Hey guys, I found a solution. I had the same problem, the sync will say "Determining apps to sync" in step 4 - 7 then suddenly just quits. So I did some research, apparently a lot of people have this problem, but everyone were just trying on their own PC, so I decided to try on my other laptop. My iPod synced perfectly with the other laptop so I knew it was the PC that was the problem, not my iPod. So basically it's just iTunes. I followed these steps to completely remove and reinstall iTunes on my PC and Viola! It syncs perfectly again!

Note: Before I did this, BeBuoi said to remove all the apps and resync, but that didn't work for me. So when I did all these steps, I had no apps in my iPod.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.
