Using Oriented Point for from-to address ranges

I am trying to use the oriented point functionality to place from and to address ranges on my map. I have a problem that for the Horizontal Align, when I set the From to "Start" and the To to "End", the connecting edges cause the numbers to overlap. (ie: edge 1's To overlaps edge 2's From)
Has anyone gotten this to work correctly?
I am using the 091229 build of Mapviewer 11.

The problem you have with using AD accounts for 802.1x auth as well as Network admin is mapping the groups. You can't map groups based on service being requested so unless all your Network Team accounts map to the same group you would have used for 802.1x then you have a problem
So the best option is probably to create seperate acccounts inside ACS for network admins, ( a shame I know since passwords will not be in step ).
As for deployment docs there is a white paper I co-authored that describes how to get the most out of T+ Network Admin access.
You can find it via Extraxi's web site
http://www.extraxi.com/TDA.htm
And Select the "Building Scalable T+ Device Mgmt link"

  • FOI marker trimmed when using oriented point geometry

    Greetings,
I am trying to rotate a FOI polygon marker using oriented point geometry. While the angle of the marker (hollow arrow) is rendered properly in Oracle Maps, the size of the actual marker image shipped to the browser is always constant in size and does not account for the potential increase in image dimensions due to rotation. So, the image always is clipped at the corners, if rotation swings a portion of it outside the static image dimensions. The best way to replicate this behavior is by using a simple square marker on any rotated point geometry: the corners of the square get clipped.
I appreciate any advice on how to solve or work around this.
    Regards,
    -Simon

    Joao,
Thanks for your reply. I found that all types of markers, including images and TTF symbols get clipped. The only way that seems to work buffering an image marker symbol by empty pixels in order to provision space for its rotation.

    -Simon

  • "do not use proxy server for local (intranet) addresses" IEM setting

Hi, i would like to find out where can i find the following setting in GPO which used be found in IEM.
"do not use proxy server for local (intranet) addresses" Enabled/Disabled
as currently im setting the IE proxy exception list via GPP, i don't see that option.

    Hi,
As you notice that when we use GPP Internet Setting item to configure bypass proxy servers, there is no "do not use proxy server for local (intranet) addresses" option in GPP Internet
Setting item. However, as suggested by zanderol24’s reply, we can use bypass proxy server for local addresses option under
Proxy server to achieve the same function.

  • Using ID Point for Repacking - no putaway strategy allowed

    Hi All,
I have a business requirement to have an ID Point servicing inventory that is putaway to one specific storage type. HUM is active and when the goods are received at 902 they are potentially packed on a pallet. The pallet is moved to the ID point where it is unpacked and then put away.
The systems allows configuration of only one repacking area per warehouse number where you can assign a fixed bin.
Unfortunately the business do not want this activity happening at the normal repacking area (923) which is also used for other things so must remain configured.
In order to perform repacking at the ID Point I must have no putaway strategy assigned to the storage type. Without the putaway strategy. how can I get the system to select a bin - any bin will do, either a fixed bin, a dynamic coordinate, it doesn't matter.
I have a backup solution which to create a special movement indicator, new mvt type and enter the destination bin in the movement type, however I'm looking for something a little "nicer".
    Regards,
    Busaboy.

    Dear Karthik
You are right, I did activated Indicator: Activate Storage Unit Type Check for Stock Placement in SPRO->LE->WM->Master Data->Define Storage Type
The Indicator: Storage type with storage unit management was also ticked automatically by system when I selected Indicator: Activate Storaget Unit Type Check for Stock Placement.
Are you trying to say the ID Port defined in Storage Type will have higher priority over the Storage Type value I maintained in the Storage Type Search Table?
I have already maintained the Storage Bin and I still do not understand why system still go for ID port. As far as I know, system will suggest the Storage Type from ID Port ONLY if storage bin in this storage type as their destination are not maintained in first in the other setting.
    Quoted from SAP HELP
    Identification point for storage type
Identification point (storage type) of the current storage type.
All goods movements that do not have a specific storage bin in this storage type as their destination are first directed to the identification point.
Here the goods are identified and a transfer order is generated for the actual transfer of the goods into the storage type concerned.
    Please help.

  • GMail and using it to send from another address

I have 2 main e-mail addresses, 1 for work and 1 for personal. My Outlook at work uses POP to access both because my work e-mail does not support IMAP. So instead of using POP from my iPhone on those 2 accounts and ending up with some e-mail on my phone and some on my computer, I made a GMail account just for my iPhone. I have it set up so that both my main accounts forward to this iPhone account but retain the original so that my computer and my iPhone each have a copy. I decided to do this mainly because GMail will allow me to reply to e-mail sent to my 2 main accounts from those addresses and not the address for my iPhone. But when I've tried it, those e-mails still show up as being from my iPhone address and not from one of my 2 main addresses. Does that GMail feature not work when using GMail through a POP client? Or do I have some settings set wrong? Any help would be appreciated. I hope all this makes sense.

This does work. I have it set up on my iPhone. I forward my work email to a gmail account because my work does not have a server lever spam filter enabled. Don't get me started on the IT guys there!
    I am using gmail IMAP.
    http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=77702
You have to make the changes per google's directions as it's already been posted here:
    http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=20616
The next thing you need to is change some settings on your iPhone. In the mail settings, under IMAP account setting, use the name and address you want your response to be, not your gmail address. It took me a couple of dozen test emails to figure this one out.
I have not tried this on gmail's pop account and I don't think it will work. If you are using pop I'd suggest you follow what viali17 says about changing your outgoing mail server for that account.

  • Using white point for White Balance (instead of gray point)

    Dear All,
I am looking to buy Aperture 2.0, but one point annoys me a bit : it seems that we can only use gray point to make a White Balance. I use to use only white points in Photoshop, as my photos of products rarely include gray colors. I take the photos on white background only, and when doing WB with a white point, my product gets nice colors, and more important, appears to "float" on a totally white background.
Also, I do not want to bother with a gray card, as by experience it didn't prove to be as effective.
My question is : is there any means or plug-in to use white point to make a white balance ?
    Thanks a lot !
    Arn'

    Arn,
Hate to break it to you but.... It doesn't matter if you use white or grey as long as the actual color is neutral (no tendency towards blue etc.) what does matter regarding white is to make sure that there is enough color information in all the color channels to make an accurate assessment of the color of the light in the scene.
As there are a million ways to do something in PS I don;t know exactly what you are doing but it sure sounds like you are actually doing a couple of things to the image in one step. In Aperture if I assume you are using the white balance control brick to manipulate white balance that is the only thing that is being changed - nothing else (like the contrast).

  • Enabled RBL - Cannot send from dynamic address ranges

I have recently enabled some RBL on my mail server to help combat some spam problems that have been starting. Unfortunately, some users can no longer send email through my server when they are working remotely. I am pretty sure they are being blocked because they are on dynamic address ranges (Comcast home accounts and Verizon air cards).
    Is there a way to:
    1) (preferred) Allow SMTP to go through without looking up the RBL (white-listing) based on SMTP authentication? This way they could me anywhere and always be able to send.
    or
    2) How do I white-list address ranges so that they can send through.
    Thanks

Based on your reply, it sounds like postfix processes its config in a top to bottom fashion. It now makes sense to me that it must be getting to the RBL's before authentication. Below is my postconf, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • Use different names for different email addresses in mail

Is it possible to somehow override the name that is in the 'full name' field under account settings in mail.app? I send mail from multiple different email addresses all through one enabled account, which is a mobile me account. I use gmail's outgoing smtp server to accomplish this.
I don't want every email address that I send from to say my full name, but there is not an option to specify different names since it is all one account. Using Mail v3.6
    Any ideas?

no. I don't think there is any other way to do it with Mail.

  • SCCM2012: Can you create a Query-based "User Collection" using an IP Subnet (or IP Address range) in the Query?

The topic says it all (I hope).  I am new to 2012 and I have tried to accomplish this feat all day, which includes researching online, but I have had zero success in finding anything helpful.
Obviously I can create "Device Collections" based on the IP Subnets, and I can do a "Direct Rule" in "User Collections" for the desired IP Subnet, but I do not want to do this because I need the results to update if/when
any changes occur during a "scheduled/incremental update".
The only thing I could find for the "User Collections" was this:
    select *  from  SMS_R_User where SMS_R_User.FullUserName = SMS_R_User.UserName and SMS_R_System.IPAddresses like "111.11.1%"
    EXAMPLE (Query for Devices):
    select *  from  SMS_R_System where SMS_R_System.IPAddresses like "111.11.1%"
Is there a way to Query SCCM (2012) and display the Usernames of computers that login to the (sole) Domain through a specified (or desired) IP Subnet?

Why do you want to install software by location for a user? Why do you care?
Why would you want to create a collected of Users with software installed? PCs have the SW install not users so how would you use it?

    @GarthMJ
I was asked to setup these (Device and User Collections) in this manner so we can limit future distributions/deployments of Applications (and/or Packages) and (OS) Images by these groupings.  Apparently there will be occasions where deployments will need
to be segmented as such because the company wants to have them grouped in this manner.  If there is a better option available than this, which I would not doubt since I am new to SCCM 2012, then I would appreciate the information.
IMO, you need to go back to the person asking and get and better understand of exactly what they want and more importantly why.  Making a collection, just in case doesn't make sense.

  • Can autoreply use Mail attribute for From header in autoreply?

    Hi:
We've recently moved from 5.x to 6.2, and users are complaining that autoreply/vacation messages are coming with the user's mailEquivalentAddress in the From: header rather than the email address that is in the Mail attribute. In our case, Mail is set to [email protected]
    Here's our version info:
    jeffw@ash:/ims/log# imsimta version
Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 6.2-3.04 (built Jul 15 2005)
    libimta.so 6.2-3.04 (built 01:43:03, Jul 15 2005)
    SunOS ash.usg.tufts.edu 5.9 Generic_118558-08 sun4u sparc SUNW,Netra-T12

Well, "noreverse" will prevent "from" address from being rewritten.
However, from your description of the problem, it's likely to have no effect at all.
A normal rewrite is when a "mailAlternateAddress" gets rewritten. You said you use "mailEquivalentAddress". That should never be rewritten. If you're indeed using "mailAlternateAddress", then it might work. Try it.... If you're really using, "mailEquivalentAddress", then Sanjay is barking up the wrong tree......

  • Can you use an .mac alias as "from" email address in .mac account?

My .mac account is in my full name @.mac and MAIL automatically uses that as the "from" email address when i send mail. Is there any way to use one of my .mac aliases instead?

For the email account preferences for any email account, there is a Name field which you can enter anything to appear as your name when sending a message with the account and there is an email address field for the same. With a .Mac account, you cannot enter a different email address to appear as the sending email address for a message sent by the account.
You can send messages from your .Mac account alias email address but the name you have entered for the Name field under the Account Information for your .Mac account preferences will be the name shown with the alias email address when sending a message with the alias.

  • Cisco ASA 5512x - Restrict email delivery to ip address range..

    Hi,
I was wondering how to tighten the security of my email delivery to a range of ip addresses (I know how on my old firewall but the cisco is quite a bit different).  Right now anyone sending email to a particular ip address on my firewall can do so.  I want to restrict that to two ip address ranges it will accept deliver from.  I'm thinking I need two network objects for the two ranges then add to a network object group.  Can anyone help with configuring the ACL for delivery using that group if I'm correct about that?
    TIA
    Al

    Hi,
I assume that you have a server or multiple servers on your network behind the ASA and want to restrict SMTP traffic to them and only allow SMTP traffic from certain address ranges?
You might have something like this configured for the server Static NATs
    objec network SMTP-SERVER1
    host 10.10.10.10
    (dmz,outside) static x.x.x.x dns
    object network SMTP-SERVER2
    host 10.10.10.20
    (dmz,outside) static y.y.y.y dns
If so you could simply create the following kind of configurations to restrict traffic to them
    object-group network SMTP-SERVERS
    network-object object SMTP-SERVER1
    network-object object SMTP-SERVER2
    object-group network ALLOWED-SMTP-SOURCE
    network-object
    network-object
    network-object host
access-list OUTSIDE-IN remark Allowed SMTP connections
    access-list OUTSIDE-IN permit tcp object-group ALLOWED-SMTP-SOURCE object-group SMTP-SERVERS eq smtp
    access-group OUTSIDE-IN in interface outside
The above configuration does the following
Has 2 example Static NAT configurations for local DMZ servers
Groups those 2 servers to their own object-group SMTP-SERVERS (for easier use in the ACLs)
Creates an object-group that will contain all the public networks and host addresses that are allowed to contact your SMTP servers (for easier use in the ACLs)
Configures an ACL that allows SMTP (TCP/25) connections from "outside" only if the source network for the connection belongs to some address range on the ALLOWED-SMTP-SOURCE object-group and when the destination is either one of your SMTP servers.
Naturally the above object/object-group, access-list and interface names could be different and same for the actual IP addresses.
Also, if you already have an ACL attached to your "outside" interface then naturally you use that and DONT NEED the "access-group" command above. (As its used to attach an ACL to interface which doesnt already have one attached)

  • Change pointer for Sales Order

    Hi,
Using change pointers I want to create an IDOC when ever a specific field in the sales order line item is changed. I have activated the change pointer for message type ORDRSP. Also maintained the following entries in BD52
    VERKBELEG(Object) VBAP(Table) ABGRU(field).
After this when I change this field at the sales order line item, it inserts entries into change pointer table.
But my problem is creating IDOC's from those change pointer entries. I am not sure which function module (MASTERIDOC_CREATE_XXXXX) works for this.
    Anyhelp on this highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
I don't think so you can use change pointer for sales order changes. Usually, it is done through transaction code<b> NACE</b> - configuring condition for output type.
You can setup requeirement in procedure control to trigger IDoc ORDRSP for any changes in item level.
Hope this will help you and give an idea.

    Ferry Lianto
