Want to download Pages, but can't seem to find if this is possible. iWork 9 from USB download from 10.6 doesn't seem to work - willing to buy new version online, but can't find the compatibility.

FYI - I just did a full wipe out and set up as new device, and the problem got solved.... But obviously it was a pain in the butt to download all the purchased apps back... This seems to be the only way to go about it... :(

when i go to the app store to update the one app that needs to be updated, the screen is blank. It used to list all the apps that need updating and have a button called update all. Now nothing. Just a blank screen. How can I fix this?
There's been a problem with this all day. Seems to be a server problem - wait a day and try again, or use itunes on the computer to update, that works.

On OSX10.8, friend logged in using his appleID now the app store is trying to update apps I don't have. How can I clean this up? I don't see the usual ignore update like I did back on older versions of the OS. I don't really want to just ignore it I want to clean it all up. How can I make sure there is nothing under his name or ID on my new laptop?

The MAS doesn't usually offer updates for apps not present or not in your purchased list. Are you sure that the apps are not to be found on a mounted drive or partition, such as a backup? -
Question: I have changed my Pple ID. However The PPS Store insists that the cancelled ID is me, and trying to change either the name or password is an endless circle. The email account name I previously used was, I believe, hacked so I terminated the email account. So, apple no longer shows it.
Please help me. I want to get back into the App Store without losing all the apps I've purchased.Welcome to the Apple Community.

I have the iPhone 4 and cant get the iPhone 4s for a while...If i could, I'd like to get the app, but nothing really comes up as "Siri" in the App StoreIt was. It is not any more. The app was pulled when the iPhone 4S was released. Siri is a fundamentally different product/service now. It will only work on the iPhone 4S.

App Store won't open, error message "App Store can not be opened because of a problem". I haven't been able to update anything for a week or so. I have used Disk Utility, Drive Genius, deleting the .plist, all to no avail. My Mac Mail hasn't worked since the upgrade to Mavericks. Mavericks can't see my LaCie Cloudbox. Can any of these be solved by me?
I have the same error "XXXX App cannot be opened because of a problem". And I also cannot open iTunes and get the error "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."
Only Apple apps seem to be at issue here...
Repairing Permissions did not fix this.
I noticed this after the last Software update. Is there no fix other than re-installing?

App store tried to update iBooks app. I can only see Newstand app on my screen and cannot get to bookstore. How can I delete and download the iBooks app again. iBook still appears in the settings menu as version 2.1

the settings are gone, i guess. But even worse, I cannot get the iPad2 to play Full HD thru the Apple digital AV adaptor using apps that support (and advertise this), like AVPlayer HD. This definiteley used to work before one of the last iOS upgrades. (I am now at 5.1.1). -
Even when I type the exact name of the app, App Store can't find apps I know worked very recently.

If you search it in App Store you get absolutely no response. It's a product. They have a link to it on their website. But, if you alternatively go to their website and try to get it from iTunes:
HootSuite is also a widely used app. Or, it was. It's also not in the iPhone search for apps, and won't let you install it from iTunes either.

Problems:
1. Can surf thru Safari in less than 5 minutes and then drops
2. When I try to go to App Store in less than a minute wifi drops
3. When I watch Youtube, the video stops downloading halfway because wifi drops
I am having this problem since I installed IOS6 last Monday the 24th of September.
SOLUTION:
RE-CONFIGURE ROUTER
1. On wireless settings under Setup tab:
a. disable auto channel scan
b. change chanel to 11
c. rename SSID
2. On Firewall Settings under Advance Tab:
a. enable DMZ (Demilitarized Zone)
b. Input the DMZ ip address of the Ipad (ipad must be using static ip address)
Put Wifi to Static
1. When you are connected with you wifi, click on the blue arrow on the wifi's name
2. Copy all the settings of the DHCP to the Static
3. Copy the IP Address and input it on Routers DMZ
hope this will help....
we have different routers. dmz's function is just to set a computer OUTSIDE of the router for unrestricted internet connection... if you have feature on your router then try to set your ipad on this...

I would suggest that you buy a visa or mastercard gift card and put a few dollars on it and use it to access the store. Just add money to it before you want to buy something from the store and it will act like a normal credit card for you.

Yes. Each one needs to have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed in order to re-download from the App Store unless you make your own USB flash drive installer:
Make Your Own Lion Installer
1. After downloading Lion you must first save the Install Mac OS X Lion application. After Lion downloads DO NOT click on the Install button. Go to your Applications folder and make a copy of the Lion installer. Move the copy into your Downloads folder. Now you can click on the Install button. You must do this because the installer deletes itself automatically when it finishes installing Lion.
2. Get a USB flash drive that is at least 8 GBs. Prep this flash drive as follows:
Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
3. Locate the saved Lion installer in your Downloads folder. CTRL- or RIGHT-click on the installer and select Show Package Contents from the contextual menu. Double-click on the Contents folder to open it. Double-click on the SharedSupport folder. In this folder you will see a disc image named InstallESD.dmg.
4. Plug in your freshly prepared USB flash drive. You are going to clone the InstallESD.dmg disc image to the flash drive as follows:
Open Disk Utility.
Select the USB flash drive from the left side list.
Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
Check the box labeled Erase destination.
Select the USB flash drive volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
Drag the InstallESD.dmg disc image file into the Source entry field.
Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
When the clone is completed you have a fully bootable Lion installer that you can use without having to re-download Lion. -

If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.

Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. I downloaded 11.1 but now can't access the store, can only view my library. I've reinstalled but still get a blank, white screen when I try to go to the itunes store. How can I get to the store for purchases?
In iTunes prefs>Store - is the Store check box unchecked?

i have two computers. my laptop has os 10.6.8. my mac mini has 10.5.8, hence no app store. can i buy lion on my laptop and then burn a dvd of it and install it on my mac mini or does it have to be installed on the same computer it is bought with?

In an alv grid you can personalize the layout (Change layout, save layout). Is it possible to somehow add this saved layout to the report so that it will be shown as the defaylt layout for eveyone that runs the report? Best Regards Claes

My Ipod Touch doesn't sync at all with iPhoto. Very annoying. The photos were uploaded mostly in an older OS, but even recent photos don't show up through the sync. Any ideas on this?
