Using PowerMac G4 without any display

Hi!
I have PowerMac G4 867/QS whith 17" Apple Studio Display (ADC). It is very noisy, so It are sitting in my closet , and I manage them from my main iMac using ARD.
Can I disconnect Apple Studio Display and run PowerMac without any display?

I'm trying restart the PowerMac (monitor is disconnected) from ARD , but it shuts down! Then I press the Power button, PowerMac start up and ARD restore the connection, but the ARD Desktop window is now no more than 800x600 !

Is it possible to restart a PowerMac without a display via ARD and preserve the high resolution screen?
Perhaps there is an emulator display (plug in to DVI or VGA output).

Gtalk needs a wireless data plan to work as does FB. BB app world has dictionaries to download, trouble is you need the wireless data plan for that too.

Is it possible to use locked iPhone (without any SIM) as a testing device?

Hey guys,
is it possible to use american iPhone (locked on AT&T) as a testing device with xcode for debugging apps?
I won't even insert any SIM in it, just need to know if it's possible, or the device must have signal? (I will activate the iPhone with official ATT sim, but then remove it)

Pretend it is a touch. No signal so you can't test phone related code, otherwise yes you can use it for testing.

How to run batch programs using SUBMIT command without any interaction need

Hello ABAP gurus,
I have created a batch program in SE38 which calls many other SE38 Programs (Reports).
I have used the command SUBMIT to call the sub programs. There are about 15 sub programs that this main batch program is calling.
It works fine, but after calling each subprogram it stops and I have to manually click on 'Back Button' in green on the sap screen to run the next program in the list. Like this I have to do 15 times to run all the programs in the batch.
Is there a way to avoid this manual intervention and make the program run all the sub programs on its own.
Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Yes I am using the option "AND RETURN". So it is coming out of each sub program, and it is at this stage it waits for me to click on 'backward green arrow' to continue to the next.

Use Enterprise Services without service registry?

Hello experts,
this question is following me since days: is it possible to use enterprise services from an erp-system without a service registry?
From my understanding the service registry at runtime determines the endpoint where the service is implemented. But when there is just a single erp-system is it then possible to use this services without any additional systems?

Yes you can.
The service registry is just a "phone book" of services. as much as phone numbers exist well without the phone book services exist without a registry.
actually, if you really ever have only one source system for enterprise (or other) services you don't need the service registry. even if you have 3 source systems and you know how to find an overview of the services in each of those 3 systems and if you don't use a 'global' data model you do not really need the service registry.
but this is just my 2 cents. 'publishing' seems to be a common source of joy these days

Can I use the new Apple TV without a display for audio streaming only?

Here's my situation...
I have an Airport Express in my living room connected to my DSL modem to create a wifi network. I also have a current model MacBook Pro and would like to add an Apple TV to my bedroom system for music and Netflix audio streaming. I do not own a TV to do any setup.
If I bought an ATV for my bedroom and connected the optical output to my DAC, would I be able to accomplish my goal or is there a setup procedure on the ATV which mandates a display?
I realize I could just buy another Airport Express for easy audio streaming, but then I wouldn't have the Netflix audio capability which I would like since I watch movies on my MBP. I'm hoping like an Airport Express, the ATV would configure itself for audio streaming once connected to my wifi network.

If you're planning to stream from iTunes to the AppleTV controlling the material via iTunes, I suspect it may just appear as an Airtunes speaker option for iTunes without any setup needed.
No Netflix in UK so don't know much about it, but I suspect you'd need to control the AppleTV directly for this unless you were viewing on the MBP and used something like Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil to transmit audio.
If you have no desire for controlling AppleTV either on an TV or using Remote app for iPhone etc (and you'd need to set AppleTV up with a TV for Netflix or AppleTV controlled streaming anyway), you might want to consider using another Express upstairs and hook it's optical out to your DAC if you're just after stereo audio.

How to use AET in a system without any masterdata?

we know how to use the AET in general.
But we have a developmentsystem where it is not allowed to create masterdata or documents.
Therefore it is not possible in this system to open for example an existing customer in WebU and enhance a new field to BP_HEAD\details for example.
Is there a way to use the AET without having master data available in the dev-system?

This works for the most components like BP_HEAD.
It does for some reason not work for component ERP_H.
"Exception during toolbar processing".
The component is displayed but without buttons - also no configuration button for AET.
Any ideas.
