Using property bee with Firefox

I've downloaded Firefox and property bee, but can't seem to see how it works. I think it is supposed to show additional information on Rightmove, but I can just see the usual information when I go onto Rightmove (using Firefox and logged on to Property Bee).
Am I missing something?

The link is a step-by-step guide to installing Firefox. I have already instlaled Firefox!
What I need to know is how do I get the information about property price history from Rightmove?
I have:
logged on to Propertybee in Firefox
Open a different tab to go to Rightmove and look at some properties
Nothing is different from before I installed Firefox!
How do I get to see the additional Property bee information?

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

    Question
I want to save with <nowiki><alt><s></nowiki> in the program Exact Online. This function is not working. this is the first time that i use this program with firefox.

Submitted too soon... To change your accelerator key for accesskeys to Alt alone (or a different combination), you can change a setting using Firefox's about:config preferences page.
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the filter box, type or paste '''ui.k''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Make sure '''ui.key.generalAccessKey''' is set to its default value of -1 (or right-click and choose Reset if it is not).
    (4) Double-click '''ui.key.contentAccess''' to open a dialog box to change the value from its current default (on Windows, 5) to your choice of the following:
    * 2 = '''Ctrl''' (Fx default on Mac thru Fx13)
    * 3 = Ctrl + Shift
    * 4 = '''Alt''' (IE/Chrome/Safari default on Win/Linux)
    * 5 = '''Alt + Shift''' (Fx default on Windows & Linux)
    * 6 = '''Ctrl + Alt''' (Fx default on Mac from Fx14) (Chrome/Safari default on Mac)
    * 7 = Ctrl + Alt + Shift
This should take effect as soon as you OK the dialog, so you can experiment in a separate tab. Other combinations are available if you want to try them. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Ui.key.contentAccess (inaccessible at the moment?)

  • I cannot use Microsoft Hotmail with Firefox 3.6.24 and Windows 7. I click on an email but nothing happens. I did not have this problem with Windows Vista. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

The Windows 7 is on a new Dell Inspiron desktop. The Windows Vista is on a Dell Studio laptop that I have had for a while. The Hotmail also works fine on the new computer when I use IE9.

  • I use norton anti virus and it has login help for most sites i could use it effectively with firefox earlier version but with firefox 4 the same is not available sttaing firefox is not compatiable with norton anti virus kindly clarify

firefox 4 is not compatible with norton antivirus program. i need a solution for this
    mohan

Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. They have indicated that for Norton 360 they plan to release an update to Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early May - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US
I do not know about the time scale for updates for other Norton products. Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
The core Norton components such as antivirus and firewall will still work, it will just be the add-ons that are not currently compatible.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
For details of how to find your profile folder see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles

  • Cannot compose or reply using yahoo mail with firefox

I have done everything Yahoo says to do which is FF's solution to my problem, but it does not solve the problem
Yahoo mail works fine with IE & CHROME but with FF 33 & 34 it will not allow me to compose or reply to an email!
And the checkboxes with the icons inside have been there for MANY versions.
Sad that I will have to switch to Chrome or IE

I am suddenly having this problem with not being able to
    reply/forward to (certain Gmail conversations).
Now using, Mac OS 10.5.8 and experienced the presence of this issue with Firefox 3.6.10. AND 3.6.13 but not with Beta 4.
I have used Safari and the error is not reproducible. This issue is exclusively present to Gmail in FF.
I can confirm that FF config is presently dom.storage.enabled.
I have started FF in safemode, disabled, updated and enabled all plugins and add-ons, restarted FF and desktop many times, the issue is still present in FF 3.6.10/3.6.13.
Only some conversations cause this error. When I click on particular conversations reply/forward tab, the page freezes and the only way to temporarily resolve this, is to click the refresh icon as F5 will not work.
It does not freeze the whole
FF browser, just the window with Gmail.
I need a fix as FF is my primary browser.
    Thanks in advance! :-)

  • Can't use anymore Gmail with Firefox 32.0.2. Script Crash all the time

The same thing happends with 30, 32 and 32 versions.
Some time ago I found a solution in internet (the solution make me do things in about:config) and that new configuration works very well (in my desktop computer)... Now I dont remember which changes I made and i can´t find the same solution to apply in my notebook.
So... in my Notebook Gmail doesn´t work with FireFox... and in my desktop, works fine. My Notebook is more powerfull than my desktop machine.
I try other solutions suggested in Firefox Forums but the issue continues... (Factory Reset, Re-install, Javascript not enabled... etc etc) Nothing work...
So in my Notebook I use Firefox (browser that I love and i been using from version 2 or 3) and Google Chrome (Browser that I DON´T LOVE AT ALL) for Gmail
Thanks in advance for any help

  • Can't use my cardreader with Firefox 8 to connect with my bank.

    Hi!
I use a cardreader to connect to my bankaccount. It has worked flawlessy with Firefox until ver. 8.0 (Swedish version). Now I have to switch to either IE 8.0 or Google Chrome to make it work - which is vey sad since I've been with Mozilla/Firefox since the days of Netscape Navigator.
    I use XP Professional SP3, Gigabyte EP35-DS4, Intel Quad Q9300, 3,5 GB.
    ESET Smart Security 4.2.71.2, Emsisoft Anti-Malware 6.0.0.49

    Hi,
Please try to '''Unload''', restart Firefox and '''Load''' the smart card module in '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Options''' > '''Advanced''' > '''Encryption''' > '''Security Devices''', if it is present. Before that please make sure to know the location of the original module file (usually .dll).

  • Using Property Loader with Renamed Steps

If I have a test step in a loop where the step is renamed using RenamePreviousStep after each iteration, is there a simple way to use Property Loader to load test limits corresponding to the dynamically changing test name?
The only way I have found to do this so far causes errors at runtime on the non-existent step names in the file which have to be ignored. Also it is not very slick to call PropertyLoader every time the loop iterates.
Is there a more elegant way to load limits for steps which "don't yet exist"?

How do you organise your limit file.
Do you have a different Start/End Marker for each of your iterations
so that you have the correctly named step(s) between the markers?
You could try loading an array of limits into a local array(s) from
your Limit File then index through the array as the datasource for your
limits. Remember its a PropertyLoader, so its not limited to just
limits. That way you only read it once and you are not tied to the Step
    name.
I originally had all limits within a single Start-End marker pair. Having now given each limit set an individual Start-End marker and setting PropertiesListSource dynamically in the Loader Step in the loop, that works OK.  Perhaps not so elegant still as each iteration of the loop requires a Property Loader step instead of loading everything in one hit (I'm guessing there has to be some performance overhead in multiple property loader calls vs. a single load of all limits) but at least there are no errors on the loader step now I am only loading that test which exists after the loop rename.
The alternative of loading data into arrays had ocurred to me and I may experiment with this if performance becomes an issue with the first approach.
Thanks for your reply Ray, its much appreiated.

  • Do i have to use norton security with firefox

Do i need to have norton security if i have firefox or do i need to install norton.
    becky

Absolutely not! Mozilla has no specific requirements as to which security program should be used with Firefox. If you are happy with what comes with Windows 7, keep using it. If you aren't, I think you should consider using Avira Personal Free - http://www.free-av.com/. That is my current choice and has been for that last 3 years.
I have access to a free version of Norton every "back to school" sales season, and my only use for those CD's is as a frisbee-like toy.
