Using rotobrush tool in layer wont show up in comp. why?
I started the rotobrush tool in a layer because the rotobrush is required to be used only in a layer window every function of the rotobrush is working in the layer alpha alpha boundary alpha overlay the entire sequence renders out in the layer but the comp window is black. Any suggestions?

Here's the best suggestion I can make: don't assume you can use Rotobrush intuitively, because you can't. You have to read up on using it and look at tutorials made by THE PROS and not just some high school kid.

Not to mention the weath of other valuable and eye-opening knowledge of how AE works, and how to use it.

When using Preview to access my class notes as .pdf files, I have encountered extremely frustrating glitches when trying to search for specific words or phrases within the .pdf files and when trying to use 'text tools' to write notes on the .pdf slides. Preview did not behave in this manor with Mountain Lion OS. This seems to correlate with my recent upgrade to Mavericks OS.
When using the search function you should be able to type in any number of letters or words and press enter to continually cycle through the highlighted findings that match what you have typed in. Instead it now, typically, stops tracking what I type in after about 3-4 letters and the yellow highlight turns grey. Once it does this if you try to press enter to cycle through what it has found it no longer cycles. It never did this in Mountain Lion using the very same .pdf files I had previously used in the old OS, and it does this despite there being multiple matches for what I am searching.
When clicking 'show edit tool bar' button and then 'text tools' button to be able to free text notes on the .pdf file I have to exit out of the 'text tools' mode to be able to advance to the next page. This is extremely inconveneint and, again, Preview did not do this in Mountain Lion.
These are my two major complaints about Preview that I have discovered so far in my short time using it with the new Mavericks OS.
Any help would be very much appreciated.I have this issue too and was pleased to find this thread. Did either of you find the source of the problem or how to fix it?
I've tried using Wondershare PDF Editor as well and wondered that had messed some settings up. Have either of you used that?
If so, how would I revert to a clean version of Preview?

Problem using Brush tool with layer mask in Photoshop CC.
Using Photoshop CC, working on a layer mask. Using the Brush tool to paint white to show the effect works like normal. Painting black has no effect. Just started doing this in the last two days.
Check you Brush blending mode setting in the tools option bar.

I want to delete a lot of things childrens stories, albums which are not used which that are on my ipad. However when I go through Itunes it wont show me most of the stuff in my library. it takes ages to delete one at a time.

My iphone doesnt show up in my itunes. It shows up when i plug it into another laptop. Similarly, when i use someone else's iphone, that shows up in my itunes. Obviously my itunes wont recognise my iphone. Please help

the help pagers just bring me around in circles. the ipod doesn't show up in system devices under the busses. i've tried just about everything. Im using windows xp at home and though maybe it was because of that. so went to a relatives and used a brand new lap top avus with windows 7 and it wont show up here either. When i got the ipod a few days ago from a third party the only screen i could get to come up was a picture of a usb cord with an arrow pointing towards the itunes logo. I downloaded i tunes and couldn't get it to change. brought it to at&t store today they hooked it up with my usb cord to thier computer and suddenly the menu screens work and i could even get online with it yet when i try to hook it up to one of my computers it doesn't show up anywere where can i go to get this fixed and fixed quick jumping around the apple help pages have put me in a foul mood and im sick of it two days spent trying to get it to show now. im sick of waiting around i need help asap so i can return this **** thing if it turns out it is broken somehow..which i dont think it is.

This is probably some corruption in the settings file that stores the on-screen position of the Firefox window. Could you try the steps in this thread: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/980358 opens off monitor screen]. Any luck?

Downloaded Mt Lion Yesterday and my Tool bar has disappeared. I can still access the individual tools but cannot see my header. I used 'help' and did what it suggested. slected 'hide tool bar' and then 'show toolbar'. I also restarted etc.
Good point BDAqua, the Escape key helps get me back to reality in Lion.
While I've only dabbled around a little in Lion since it's release (I upgraded a 10.6 Clone to Lion on one of my FireWire Drives) now I'm currently downloading Mountain Lion (to upgrade a Clone of that Lion Clone) so that now I can continue to move forward in madness.

Can't use the rotobrush tool because of an error message

I have after effects cs6 updated (I just did the update today)
I tried to use for the first time of my life the rotobrush tool. Everytime I try, it's not working because an error message appears:
"After effects warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands."
I read a lot on the internet and they said to update windows, after effects, video card drivers, which I have already did before this problem. I also have tried to disable OpenGL to see if the problem really is this file, but I searched for hours on the preferences and I don't find where I can disable it. Everything works perfectly, just the rotobrush tool has a problem (I don't know if there's another effect that has a problem because I didn't use all the millions of effects).
I think I need to disable it, but it'd be very sad because it really accelerates my work. Can you tell me how to repair this problem by not disabling OpenGL?This is what I'm searching: I don't know how to turn it off. I searched all the preferences and I don't find an option "turn openGL off", so I don't know where it is. After doing that, I'll be able to find out if this is really the problem. I have made many tests, and it looks like this error comes when I do a very big job (example: importing a 1 Gb video and tracking it). I don't understand why, as my computer is windows 7 64 bit SP1, 6 Go of RAM, 1 To of hard drive, and external hard drive of 1 To, 4 cores in the processor (2.8 GHz I think) with an ATI 5570 1 Go graphic card and a creative x-fi sound blaster audio card. I have also boosted it with game booster to see if it's because my computer crashes, but the problem continues even with game booster. Every now and then, I clean and defrag my computer, and I have recently formatted it, so it is new. I don't understand why after effects crashes when this error comes, as my computer is not incredible, but still has power. Why when I use Brush Tool on a layer mask, I must click on somewhere else then I am able to see my effects of my previous brush on my mask.
If I don't click click on somewhere else, I cannot even see my current brush effects
This kind of problem really slow down my work flow. So if you guy know the solution of my problem, please let me know.
ThanksUpdate your graphics driver/ turn off GPU usage in the performance prefs. You have an issue with hardware-based transparency handling most likely. Otherwise you could have an issue with your input device, but since you have not provided any system info, we can't really know anything.

If you mean finding your IP address you have to enter the router's settings via a web browser. and go to the Status page. It will likely be under the heading Internet Port. Then you can Google for:
