Using Safari internationally...
I'm currently visinting Spain, and I have multiple users on this computer.
For one user, the Safari browser automatically opens the web page's international page instead of the regular page...
For example, if I type in www.cnn.com, the international cnn page loads instead.
This happens for almost all pages that have a 2nd, international page.
Is there a way to set Safari's region or something?
Because when I access my user profile, everything works fine...

By the sounds of it, the websites will just be checking the cookies stored in your account to know which version of the website to display. The international one is being seen for other users as the websites can tell from your IP address in which location your laptop is.
Most multi-national websites have a link towards the top to set which version you prefer. Once you select that, you should be taken to the correct version of the site you want.

A Problem occured with this webpage so it was reloaded this is popping up when I open any forum using safari on my iPad mini this is been happening ever since I have downloaded iOS 8 I tried to reset all the settings and reset network settings but nothing helped please if anyone can help me .
Its not necessarily freezing - just being slow to build.
May have something to do with this being a secured site - I an giving Opera a test run & this part of the apple site does not go into compressed load - but the non-secure parts of the site do. The issue may be that some sites like apples just have too much unimportant junk on the screen because the designers are on an internal network a few offices away from the server and never see all the issues that com up. -
My iMac freezes while using safari. I have Mavericks installed
Several times my iMac freezes while using Safari. Only way to get out is to do a hard shut-down by holding the start button. Any ideas? Version of Maveriks is 10.9.2

Using Safari on the iPad unsupported mode with R17
I have a customer that just purchased iPad's for their sales force and they are trying to use the "Safari" or "Private Browser" in an unsupported mode. They have turned off the message center, but when they try and login after clicking through the unsupported browser message they receive the following error:
Occam Browser Update Servlet: Uncaught exception: and uncaught exception has occurred while attempting to render the page. Please try again later or contact Customer Care for more information.
I know we have customers and internal sales consultants that have CRM OD working on the iPad with the message center turned off. Has anyone seen this error when attempting to login with the iPad or iPhone?

Since a recent update to OSX (I have mountain Lion) I have been unable to use Safari. When trying to open it comes up with a message of unexpectidly shut down. Firefox is working ok. I have tried in guest user and the same message comes up, any ideas? Cheers

Ipad mini cannot use Safari after connecting to Youtube?
My ipad mini doesn't seem to want to open Safari after I try to watch videos on Youtube. I tried using the Youtube app, reinstalling it, and using Safari to open up Youtube videos, but no go. It seems that my ipad mini is also unable to use Safari after trying to watch these videos, and I have to go out of my way to turn off and turn on the Wifi button again. This is already my second ipad mini, because I exchanged the first one due to the "battery charging" issue.
I've already tried to do the home button + power button reset and reset all my other settings. I know it's not my router because I can use my netbook and my mom can use her laptop on it, and even her ipad. I have also had this ipad for about a month now, and the problem only arose this afternoon. If there is an internal problem, I'd really like to exchange it again while I still have warranty, but I was just wondering, did anyone else seem to have these problems? HT1948 Does the macbook use the internal harddrive when booting from usb and when fully booted?
I wonder if the Macbook Air uses the internal SSD drive when booting Mac OSX lion 10.8.2 from a bootable USB stick?
I am suspecting the internal harddrive is faulty because it gives me random system freeze ups during normal use, making me hold the power button to shut it down. So I'm wondering if I boot my macbook from a bootable USB, if the internal drive is used for caching or anything?What i'm doing when it freezes is totally random. I am not having any programs open, but for example just clicking on the apple icon or starting up safari, there seems to be no specific program that crashes it. I'm still running without a freeze up after I fixed the drive permissions with Disk Utility. But here is Etrecheck;

I downloaded Version 4 and installed it. At no point did it say that it was not compatible with the version of OS X that I am running (10.4.11) now that it is installed it will not open but it has already up graded from 3.6 so I have lost the lot. How can I download a version of 3.6 so that I can use it again or should I just pack up and use Safari as all I can get from your site is version 4. HELP!!!

Error message when using Safari
When trying to open a link online (using Safari version 7.0.1), I receive this error message: javax.servlet.ServletException: A problem occurred while instantiating controller and handling request. Does anyone know how to resolve this? This issue only occurred after I got the new Maverick operating system.

The icon for Safari has probably moved to make room for new apps. Scroll the Home screen to look for it.

It sounds like you've got a messed-up homepage. Click the Safari menu, click Preferences, and under "Home page", re-type the page you'd prefer to load when Safari starts (eg "nytimes.com" or whatever). Close preferences and try again.

I just updated to 4.0.1 on my mac and now it says "Firefox is currently in offline mode and can't browse the web". It is not my internet since I am using Safari just fine. Any suggestions? I sure wish I wouldn't have updated!

Drop down menus on iPad, the first selection in the drop down will not load as a selection when using safari, what can I do? I use this for my mobile, on-site auto repair business and not being able to call up repair and diagnostic info and reference for some cars is troublesome for sure. It works fine on the computer and I have installed a remote desktop app as a workaround but it is unreliable because the desktop is not business dedicated and may be off or in use at the time. So is there a known fix for this?
Let me paint a more descriptive picture, visualize 4 drop down selection menus, first one is for year, next one is for make, 3rd one is model and the last one is for engine size/type. If I wanted to choose a 2012 vehicle it wont work because it is the top selection on the list. This can be forced by selecting any other year and then coming back to 2012. Ok fine, but then let's say I wanted to choose Acura as the make, well it won't take it because again it's the top selection. Again you work around it be selecting any other make and coming back to Acura. Ok now select the model, same trend follows. But now since most Acura vehicles come with dedicated engines and no optional engines I have only 1 selection in that final drop down menu and it will not take my selection and therefore never let me proceed to the info I need.
This is also true when ordering parts from my wholesaler's website, they use drop downs and I can only get to that last drop down and then I'm stuck. This is blindingly frustrating, what options do I have. I'm not opposed to any avenue at this point.Did you ever figure this out? I bought my iPad last week to use in my business as well. I assume you are trying to use alldata? That is where I noticed this same issue. I had problems with identifix working with safari but downloaded a different browser and that works fine. Alldata does not work with either browser. The main difference is that on identifix if there is only one engine selection, it automatically selects the only option and continues to the home page. With alldata you have to make the selection manually even if there is only one option. Honestly if I can't get this to work I am going to return the iPad as it looses a significant amount of usefulness to men

Breadcrumbs come out misaligned when importing word document
After importing a word doc, the breadcrumbs appear with a negative indentation and/or they also appear to have 2 lines/cells and one partially covers the other. The links still function, but this just look horrible. Any ideas?
