Using Safari Password Sharing to Autofill Login Info in Apps

At WWDC 2014, developers were told that a new part of the Continuity functionality would be the ability to have Safari keep your login information for an app and autofill it. I think it was called Safari Password Sharing. It's referenced on a number of websites:

Does anyone know if this was ever implemented? It's driving me crazy trying to find where this is in development.

That's probably due to the sites being secure sites.
You might try the trial of 1password and then see if that works for you on the sites you like.

1. Force Quit .
    Press command + option + esc keys together at the same time. Wait.
    When Force Quit window appears, select the Safari if not already.
    Press Force Quit button at the bottom of the window.   Wait.
    Safari will quit.
    Relaunch Safari holding the shift key down.
2. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
    Turn those off and try Safari.
3. Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
    Press “Remove all website data” button.
4. If adware is installed without your knowledge,
    download free AdwareMedic by clicking “Download ” from here
    http://www.adwaremedic.com
   Install , open, and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button   to remove adware.
   Once done scanning and removing the adware, quit the app by clicking AdMedic in the menubar
    and selecting “Quit AdwareMedic”.

Using LDAP in 9.3.1, I can got the user list but can not use their password

I am using msad for Shared Services External Authentication.
I configurate the msad successfully.
And I could find the user in local domain. But I can not use their password in workspace.
That mean's I could find the user in local domain and do the provision job.
But I can not use their password in localdomain to login on workspace.
Is there any thing I missed when configurate the Shared Services?

My mom used our computer and when she logged into facebook, yahoo, etc she clicked remember my password when asked if she wanted it to. Now every time we go to login her login info pops up, how can I change that, basically make it forget her info.

How can I make our Mac computer forget login info that it was previously asked to remember When prompted to.

Go to the System/Internet Accounts preference pane and delete the Factbook account. Reboot, go back to the Accounts preference pane and add Facebook back but with your account information.

Cannot login to Discussions using Safari

When I try to log into Discussions using Safari I get to a "Create New User Account" page after giving my Apple ID. However, using Google Chrome the login works normally.
I have had this problem for months now.
(And yes, I'm sure I gave the correct ID and password. I've tried many many times.)

This isn't a problem just with Apple's site. Ever since I upgraded to Safari 5.0 I can't register for ANY forums. I can't login either. Have to use Firefox. Can't even log in to APPLE's own forum or the Playstation network! Seriously, this hasn't been fixed in MONTHS.. What's up?

Open Keychain Access in Utilities, use Keychain First Aid under the Keychain Menu item, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over.

My "website login info remember function" won't recognize/save new password changes to Yahoo mail

I've just changed my password into my Yahoo email account - however the Foxfire website login data remember function box doesn't appear asking if I want to save my new login information.
I've checked my Tools/Options/Security info and all is as should be... And my Tools/Options/Privacy/Remember History box is checked too...
In fact the "remember password data" box just popped up when I registered with this site and added my new login info to my list of saved login ID's and passwords...
Seems to be the "login data remember function" isn't recognizing my Yahoo mail login password change as new info that needs to be re-saved...

hello bthrower, websites can specify if browsers should be able to save username/passwords (through the autocomplete="off" attribute in the login form in the html source code) - this is often the case when a higher level of security is presumably required by those sites.
you can either [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/remember-passwords/ install an addon] or [https://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/forms.html#remember_password use a bookmarklet] to circumvent this restriction.

Unfortunatly the only way that you can get it off is to get the old user to input the password. You may need to contact that old user and see if he can put the old password in. hope this helps.

I recently updated my primary email address associated with my Apple ID account.
Now when I go to App store on my iPad it still tries to login to the App store using the old email address I had associated with the account, and naturally my password doesn't work. I can't figure out how to tell my iPad to login using the updated email address.
So in effect I'm locked out of the app store and I currently have 26 updates waiting.
I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my IPad to iCloud with no luck.. However I cloud happens to show the correct/updated email address.
Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Did you change the email for the Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? A new Apple ID cannot be used with content that was bought using a different Apple ID.

Changed AppleID p-word and now can't login to icloud on mac mini. I use correct password and I get spinning grey wheel. I know it's the correct password cause any other p-word gets error message. Also, my time capsule is blinking amber.

I accidently hit save password on my gmail homepage and now i cannot remove my login info. i looked under firefox settings and it does not allow me to make an exception for gmail. please help!

i hit the save password mozilla function for my gmail login page by accident. when i go under preferences, i cannot add an exception for gmail. now my login info and password are permanently displayed and i cannot undo it. the closest thing is to uncheck 'remember passwords for this site' but i do not want that because there are a lot of other sites that i want that function. when i hit 'exceptions' it has 'accounts.google.com' listed but it seems to not work for gmail and i cannot manually add an exception.

Hello, I used to have an add-on that would make my browser save my online banking login info..which browsers usually don't..so it forced Firefox to do it. I cannot remember the name though, can you help me?

The banking sites usually prevent log-info from being saved, but there was a way around it..
i want to save them on my computer just like any other passwords..
i forgot the name and address of that add-on

Safari & Password Autofill on my iPad 2

Just got a new (second) iPad. I have been unable to set Safari to auto load user names/passwords for repeat websites. I have been to Settings/Safari/Passwords & Autofill, and have also set up Keychain in iCloud.
Have reset, rebooted & prayed. Still no luck. Any other suggestions?

Tap "Private" to turn off Private Browsing on Safari Screen. Make sure top of screen is white (Private Browsing off)

Chances are you mis-typed a character in the Wifi password and the devices saved that information. Now whenever you try to connect the device refers to the wrong password and the Jetpack does not accept your connection. Tell your devices to forget the wireless connection and start over.
Once you enter the proper WiFi credentials the Jetpack will allow you to connect.
