Using Spiceworks Help Desk with mixed primary smtp email address users

Hello, our current spiceworks help desk environment is configured for ourone domain (we'll call it domain1.com). Everything with help desk works as expected with this domain. We have recentlypurchased a second domain (domain2.com) and configured a few of our users to use domain2.com as their primary email address. They are still using their original AD account, we just chose domain2.com as the primary smtp address.When these users try to create a trouble ticket, spiceworks seems to not recognize them and will not let them create a new ticket. Normally our users are automatically logged in when the go to the help desk portal, with the domain2.com email users spiceworksprompts for theirusername and password.When they enter it in it says that their account has not been activated yet. You can use the PowerShell command given below to get the AD User name and primary smtp address in a OU,
Get-ADuser -filter {proxyAddresses -like "*"} -searchbase "ou=testOU,dc=MyDomain,dc=local" -properties * | select name,proxyaddresses | fl
NOTE: proxyAddresses attribute in AD User matches the primary SMTP address.

Contact your help desk with this information: cannot create connection file "CitrixID"

Has anyone overcome an issue with logging in to a Citrix server and getting the following message: Contact your help desk with this information: cannot create connection file “CitrixID”? I can log on, but once logged in, the apps available to me will not launch. All worked fine before I upgraded to OS X Mavericks. I do a lot of foreign travel and Citrix kept me connected to the office. Unfortunately, our IT team aren't really "Mac Guys" so they are just as perplexed as I am. I have deleted and deleted Citrix Receiver several times as posts on other sites recommended, but to no avail.

Exchange 2013 mail contact in Active Directory missing SMTP email address but has a primary email address

Outlook 2010 Distribution Group contact member "Al" is not showing an email address. In Active Directory "Al" is showing an email address but it's not a SMTP email address that is created when you add a new Mail contact using EAC.
When the DG owner sends out an email using DG email account, the mail bounces back as undeliverable.
Exchange Admin Center is not showing the member. The only way to fix the member is by deleting the contact. Re-add contact in EAC then add to Distribution Group. We have over 30 DGs that are missing the SMTP email addresses.
Can a Powershell command fix this issue or is there a sync issue between AD and Exchange?

From your description, the contact you specified should be contact not mail contact. Contact and mail contact are two different things. If you create a contact in ADUC, you need to mail-enable it and then set the primary SMTP address for it.

I am having essentialy the same problem, but my iPod came from a PC and is now on a PC. The person who gave me the iPod didn't give me the wall adapter piece, so I bought a "Griffin" brand that was said to be compatible with this model. When I first plugged it into the wall, the Apple appeared with a bar underneath as though it was loading the new software. When the bar got to the end, the "plug into the wall" icon reappeared, but when I plug it in to the wall now, that icon is the only thing that shows, even after resetting and trying to run diagnostics.
When I doc the iPod on a charger I have or plug the USB into my computer and "reset" it, a battery with a charge icon appears, but there is no "motion" in the icon so it doesn't appear to be charging. The screen eventually goes back to the apple then to the "plug it into the wall" icon. HELP!!! Is is possible the wall adapters isn't the right one? Should I be charging through a firewire cable instead (which I also don't have...)?

You can't delete the address, but you can set up a Rule to move messages to that address to the Trash or another folder. Go to http://icloud.com and go to the Mail page, click the cogwheel icon at top right and choose 'Rules'.
It's a bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - even though in fact you haven't posted them in full; I've asked the hosts to remove them.

Cfmail "failto" not working with non-existent internal email addresses

Sorry, what I meant by "non-existent" is not quite
straightforward. Let me explain this way:
I observed the problem only occurred to emails of our
company. For instance: our company's email address ends with
@abc.com.
my email address: [email protected]
my previous colleague's address: [email protected] (he's gone and
the email is invalid / deactivated now)
my client's email: [email protected] (used to be valid)
If I code this way:
<cfmail to="[email protected]" failto="[email protected]"...>
"failto" does work and I got the email.
but if these:
<cfmail to="[email protected]" failto="[email protected]"...>

Change primary account email address?

Is it possible to take a newly created sub account and make it the primary account email address? If so would this carry over to other linked services (ie Flickr) so I could delete the original primary email address

Sorry, but I'm going to question this again. The only way a BTinternet user can have a flickr pro account is by the association with their Broadband email address (either primary or sub account). Using any other email address (e.g. payg) will get the user a very limited Flickr account.
Unless the primary email address already in use by Stuart is converted to a sub account, then it is likely to cause problems and effectively stop them being a pro user.
The link you quoted has nothing to do with altering the user's Flickr status which is actually in question here.
Now - I am not saying that you are wrong, to me it just doesn't add up with the info I am aware about with regard Flickr pro accounts.

Cannot use a number at the start of an email address

have been testing the Sun Java Messaging Server and discovered an interesting bug. It appears you cannot use numbers only as a prefix in an email address i.e. [email protected] If you attempt to send to an address of this type you get the following error:
"SMTP Error: 5.5.1 Unknown or illegal alias".
This is not a problem in Outlook. If I prefix the email address with a single letter it works fine.
I am not sure whether this is a superficial problem in the SJCS email web client or deeper down. In either case it is a bug in SJCS that probably needs to be addressed.
The justification for this posting is we are using phone numbers as email address prefixes. We are developing email for the mobile phone and it would be one less thing to remember.

Without the Apple ID you can't get a password reset email. The link I gave above can help you recover the Apple ID as well, though, via your security questions. If you don't know those either, then you may be out of luck, though you can try calling Apple Support and asking to speak with Account Security and see if they can help, though you're going to have to prove that you actually own that Apple ID and aren't just trying to get illegal access to someone else's account.

Yes it will, just sign out, then sign back in with the correct address.
Settings>iCloud>Sign Out.

As far as I know, your only solution is to manually create such addresses instead of using e-mail address policy.
