On the iPhone? I don't think you do. Since it won't even search by album name, it's clearly an iPhone issue, not anything iPhoto can do anything about (and this is the iPhoto forum).

Using Spotlight to find photos named in iPhoto
I have iPhoto 4 but am upgrading to 6 soon. Reading about how iPhoto organizes photos has been very helpful. I think I can get used to having to use iPhoto to manage my photos (how Windows of it!), although I do not like the idea of a photo having a different name in iPhoto than in the Finder. For instance, I use Spotlight a lot, but it does not seem to find the names of photos in iPhoto. Is there a way to use Spotlight to find photos in iPhoto?

Spotlight will not find photos outside of the Search in the iPhoto Window. It doesn't index the library6.iphoto file. So, titles comments and keywords etc are not indexed.

You don't have to use iPhoto you know. But if you do, finding your pic files is very easy. There are three ways (at least) to get files from the iPhoto Window.
1. Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
2. File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
3. Show File: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
Rolls in the iPhoto Window correspond exactly with the Roll Folders in the Originals Folder in the iPhoto Library Folder. You can move photos between Rolls, you can rename rolls, edit them, create them, as long as you do it via the iPhoto Window. Check out the Info Pane (wee 'i', lower left) the name and date fields are editable. Edit a Roll Name using the Info Pane, the Roll Folder in iPhoto Library Folder/Originals will also have the new name.

iPhoto is a photo organiser, not a file organiser. If you're concerned with file names, stick to the Finder. Or name the files before importing them to iPhoto. Other than that, find them visually, or by date, comment, title in the iPhoto Window.

I have 1 Mac computer running Lion. Can I set up 'find my iPhone' and 'find my iPad' if both of these devices use different Apple ID's than the Mac does? As in, can I set up 'find my "device"' for my husband's iPhone and my daughters iPad?

It could be that someone has accessed your AppleID/iCloud account with out authorization. Or it could be that you forgot to remove find my iPhone form a phone that your previously owned.
Change your Apple ID password. -
How do I find the address -thread - of a file. I used to use spotlight but after switching to Mountain Lion it no longer gives me this.
Hold Command-Option while pointing to an item in the Spotlight list. Or Command-Click will show the item in the Finder.

Open System Preferences > Spotlight then select the Search Results tab.
Select the all the categories for the search results you want.
Restart your Mac.
If that didn't help the Spotlight preferences may be corrupted.
Go to ~/LIbrary/Preferences
Move the com.apple.spotlight.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Try Spotlight.

have a hp m1212nf mfp(airprint compatible according to the hp web site) hooked up via usb to mac running OS 10.6.8., other mac hooked up via router to same network, Can print from both machines to the printer, which has the latest firmware installed.
Want to print from iphone 4 running ios 5.0.1. Running on wi-fi, and tried to print, but iphone cannot find the printer. Any suggestions??In order to print using Air Print you will need to make sure your iphone 4 is connected to the same wi-fi network as the printer is. Also, what is the make and model of your router ?

You'd need an app like Skype to video call with other phones.
Data transfer is not supported via bluetooth and iphone to iphone is not supported at all. -

The sim card number is on the sim card. If you don't have the sim card, there is no way to retrieve it, except perhaps from your carrier.

Which is better to use spotlight or finder
I have been a Mac user for six years. Still, I am unsure how to find things most easily on my computer. I was searching for a folder I knew I had, using its exact name in Finder, and I could not locate it. I used it in Spotlight and found it right away. I've not used Spotlight too much, but should I use that instead of Finder?
No rule on which is better to use, I suppose it is matter of preferences.
You can certainly expand or restrict what Spotlight searches (indexes) for you via Spotlight's preferences.
Here is a good free app that IMHO does a good job, EasyFind, at finding contents along with file names quite well.

Settings>general>resets>erase all content and settings.
That will put it back to its out of the box state. Set it up with your own apple Id. -
Been using g iPhone 6 for few months, just backed up my iPhone 5, restored my pics etc onto 6 but all original photos have been deleted, Is there a way I can get them back?
If you are backing up to your computer, check in iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices, if there is more than your recent iPhone 6 backup listed. If yes, transfer the photos from your phone to the computer first, then restore from the backup. After that, transfer the recovered photos again to your computer and sync all of the transferred pictures to your phone, using iTunes and the settings in the photo pane.

Using spotlight to find previous system
When using spotlight, why can it not find "previous system" folder? I am trying to find it so i can delete it. I found it via finder easily enough, but im curious why spotlight could not locate it. I typed the name of the folder exactly like it is.
The only way to change where Spotlight searches permanently, is to modify its _rules.plist. See my posts in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5195994 for the details. FWIW, mine looks like this:

Hi All- Today morning i imported one of the dim tables into my RPD and joined it to the respective fact tables and when i generated the report it worked fine after couple of hours when one of users logged in to the OBiee and tried to see that report
