Using tags in photoshop touch

I want to put all my photos onto my android tablet ( motorola Xoom ) and search for them using tags I had applied using Photoshop Elements. Can this be done or should I use a different app.

Not at this time, no. Might want to create an idea (via the main "discussions" page; upper right).

Just got an e mail to say that my Apple ID was just used to download photoshop touch for phone for 2.99 from the App Store with a receipt number. Is this a scam for me to give my Apple ID?

No but there's a link to reset your password. Etc etc..
This is the email I got.
"Your Apple ID was just used to download Photoshop Touch for phone £2.99 from the App Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID.
If you initiated this download, you can disregard this email. It was only sent to alert you in case you did not initiate the download yourself.
If you did not initiate this download, we recommend that you go to iforgot.apple.com to change your password, then see Apple ID: Tips for protecting the security of your account for further assistance.

  • Tags in photoshop touch

Yesterday I asked if it were possible to search photos on my android tablet by tags set up using Elements when using photoshop touch and was disappointed to hear that it was not available,  or at least not yet. I intend to store around 3000 photos on my Motorola Xoom so finding one without tags won't be easy.
What is particularly surprising is that there are hundreds of android & iOS apps that will do what Touch does and most of them are free. However Adobe tags ( being copyrighted I presume ) is the one feature that could set Photoshop Touch apart from all the rest and making it worth paying for. Given Adobe have already written the software and only need to translate it into Android & iOS I hope it won't take long to rectify this oversight. Let me know when it is available and I will buy Touch.

In addition to David_B's helpful advice here is an example of how to post on idea.

  • Using glow in Photoshop touch for android?

Hello, I am very new to Ps Touch. Can someone explain how to use the glow function? Each time I do, i get the message "this filter needs transparent pixels." Not sure what to do, please help.

    Hi,
the easiest way to understand what a transparent pixel is might be to use the erase tool and remove some pixels.
You get the same if you create an empty document paint something on it.
You can then apply the glow effect, you are probably having this problem if you started by importing an image since it fills the complete canvas with pixels.
    thanks,

  • Use of Adobe Photoshop Touch Offline?

I am interested in purchasing this app for use on both, my Kindle Fire HD 7" and my iPad mini.   Two main questions I have are this:
    1.  After purchasing this app, do I have to have an internet connection to work on photos from my personal pad's photo gallery?  I can see if I wanted to obtain pictures from Google, but, I need more clarity about this issue.
    2.  Is there a color splash option on this app?
I know that this app is more limited because of the tablet use, but, it seems to do quite a bit that I am interested in, but I really need more clarity regarding off line use.
    Thank you very much!

Okay, so, let me see if I am clear:  You're saying to download the application I need to be on line, near a wifi hotspot, but afterwards, I can use pictures from the galleries of either device without being on line, however, if I want to download pictures from Google, then, I need to be on line to use that function.
I'm not sure I know what you mean regarding licensing, does that have anything to do with me using the application on the Kindle Fire HD?
I'm not asking which is device does the app work best on; I wanted to know a few of the differences because it would be helpful to know (again, I am not a techie, so, sometimes, I have to learn a bit more before I make a decision on which one).
I thank you for your timely responses! I think that I'll look forward to using this app no matter which device I choose.  I'm new at this, so, this seems like it will be loads of fun!

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch for HTC EVO View 4G ?

Hello, I was really excited to use the Adobe Photoshop Touch App for my Android Device. I purchased the HTC EVO View 4G for Sprint and I tried to find the App but I does not seem to be compatible with my device! This is a HUGE disappointment :(. I believe it is not compatible because #1 the screen resolution is 1024 x 600 and #2 a screen size of 7". I chose this device because it has the best specifications in its portable size, not to mention the pressure sensitive stylus . Please don't leave this category out! I need this app hahah, but seriously.
Will Adobe ever make the Adobe Photoshop Touch App available for the HTC EVO View 4G?

    Hi AFlo00,
Sorry to hear it doesn't work with your device. We've had others say something similiar, my advice would be add your vote (and any comments if needed) here.

  • Where can i find the magnetic lasso tool in adobe photoshop touch? i used it all the time before but suddenly cant find it please help

i started my photoshop touch after some while and now i cant find the magnetic lasso tool it used to be there i used it all the time for editting but now i cant find it maybe i disabled it somehow. can anyone tell how to enable it again?

I honestly don't remember a magnetic lasso tool. (I've been using PS Touch since version 1.0.) The closest things I can think of are the Quick Selection Tool, the Scribble Selection Tool and the Magic Wand Tool, all located under the same set of tools (3rd set from the top in the tool panel).

  • How to open PSD file recieved via email on iPad using Photoshop Touch without Creative Cloud?

Hi, how to open PSD file recieved via email on iPad using Photoshop Touch without the need of using Creative Cloud? Thanks.

    Hi Super Nemo
Currently the only way to open psd files on Photoshop touch is via the creative cloud. Also, the layers you created from Photoshop on your desktop machine will be flattened when opened with Photoshop touch on your iPad. But you can retain the layers from the touch app when opening the psdx file on your desktop photoshop.

  • Do I need adobe CC subscription for using photoshop touch for ipad

Do I need adobe CC subscription for using photoshop touch for ipad?

No, Photoshop Touch is a different software and isn't part of Adobe's Creative Cloud (CC) series of software you can get with their monthly subscription.
Photoshop Touch is a mobile version of Photoshop you can get for just $9.99, and then you'll have it for life.
It's a great, must-have tool in my opinion, but it's very limited and won't give you all the things you would get with a regular Photoshop desktop-version, like the one you get when you subscribe to Creative Cloud.
    Best,

  • Can we use flex extension designed for Photoshop CS5 for Photoshop Touch as well?

    Hi..!!
I was learning about the Photoshop Touch application and when I started to search about its SDK, I found that it uses the same SDK as Photoshop CS5. Is my information correct? Also, if this is the case, then if I want to design a flex extension for Photoshop Touch, then will the extension for Photoshop CS5 suffice? Or, will I have to design a separate one from CS5? Please guide me..
    Thanks!

The Photoshop CS5 SDK includes functionality for creating interactions with Photoshop CS 5 from applications on Android™, Blackberry, and iOS mobile and tablet devices, as well as Mac OS and Windows® operating systems (an example would be the Adobe Nav app) basically the communication between an app and Photoshop. Flex extensions created for Photoshop would not automatically work with Photoshop Touch.
    Hope that helps
