Using Text Accounts in HBR

Hi,
I wanted to know what are the limitations of manipulating the text accounts in Business Rules.
I want to keep a text account with some text information that needs to be set from within a Business Rule. I am getting the following error when I try to validate my BR:
Detail:Cannot calculate. Analytic Server Error(1200374): Error compiling formula for [TDETAILS] (line 31): invalid expression return type
Can anyone please advise on how I can go about this?

Hi John,
I am aware that the text is stored in the relational db and the confusing part for me is which of the components can handle this lookup!
When I run a report in HFR using an essbase connection I get a number which is basically a reference within the relational table. When I run the same report using a planning connection i get the correct value.
The question is what is the purpose of having text accounts when they can't be manipulated from within a BR. I am aware that the manipulation can be done via the forms but the amount of data is simply too massive for this to be feasible for my purpose.
Any suggestions to get round this?
Also, if I load values into a text type field using the load rules, would I run into the same issue?
Is there a way to use a planning connection for BR's like the HFR reports?

That is because you don't have a web server configured and running to serve the html page. In order to see the page in a browser you need to access it using a url similar to http://localhost/~yourUserName if you are serving the page from your user account.
Prior to Mountain Lion you could go into web sharing and turn on the web server. With Mountain Lion there is no option, other than using terminal, to turn on the web server. The web sharing menu item has been removed in Mountain Lion. Apache is still on your computer but it will take a little searching these forums or the Internet to find how to turn it on.
If you want a graphic user interface to turn on/off the Apache server you could download and install a server application like xampp, http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html. I use this and it works well.

How to start new messages and replies using text format only?

Hallo,
I would like to start typing a new message in text format without the need to type every time the key option shift command T.
The same, when I reply to a message I would like to use text only.
I have played with the preferences but any of them seems able to do what I want.
Is it possible to customize this in mail?

I have already made these changes, but I was still having sign differences.
So what I have done now is go to preferences signs and for each account sign I have removed the option "use always my default font" and I have changed all signs font to the same of plain text.
I am trying now... seems better but I am not still sure that it is plain text.

4. Then Make GR from MIGO --> with respect to PO --> ENter you PO doc no.. --> Check mvt type --> Check GR --> ok indicator ---> save it
5.Make IR from MIRO---> Against PO ...if req. from GR then enter respective doc number --> Execute --> Check it ..make necesasry changes ---> item ok indicator --> check and save...
6.See the Accounting doc..in the dispaly view...in doc info..at invoice doc header...

Error in logging using "Default" account to access visual administrator

Dear experts,
i had encountered the following error message when i tried to login to Visual Administrator using go.bat using default.
Unable to look up connection Default
http://L31021:8108/msgserver/text/logon returned empty list of connection parameters
and when i tried using another account and direct connect to a dispatcher node, they say error while connecting.
please give me advice on how to solve the problem.

Hello Tan,
The error from the first type of connection indicates that the message server list of registered nodes was empty. The list is empty when the server and the dispatcher nodes are not running or using different message server.
First check in the dev_server0 and dev_dispatcher files in the work directory that they are connection to the same message server. Then in std_server0.out and std_dispatcher.out try to find why the server and the dispatcher nodes didnu2019t register in the message server. Also check the default trace files of both nodes.

You sound a bit more that that... I don't understand why you gave her your account info just to "test it out" - creating her own account is quick, easy, and free. If you have even the remotest concerns, you don't have to "lock" your account - just change your password.

My question today is quite simple. I use one account for apps and tv shows, but inwant to use a different itunes account for purchasing itunes match. How can I use them both on my devices? Will it be asking for my user-pass each time i play a song? What other thing should i consider?

I would strongly recommend you not do this. You will regret it.
I have played with this issue a lot. You have to remain signed into match in order for it to show up on your phone. If you sign out to purchase an app or redownload one from your appstore id you use then match will be removed from your phone and when you go into your music app the icloud will not be there. You then have to go sign back out of the store id you used for your app purchase and then sign back into match and everything will have to go though the download to your device process again. This really is not what you want to do.
Sign up to match with the apple id that you know you will use the most or has the most purchased items and use that for all purchases, i.e. books, apps, movies, and music. You don't want to go though the other process.
Plus apple will start not letting you sign into match because you signed out and back in, in to short a period of time.
all store purchases on an iphone are linked to the store id. if you sign out of your match id on the appstore and sign into another account to purchase an app then itunes match will sign out in the music app. You can't have two store id's signed into your iphone at the same time. They are all linked together.

If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.

Yes you can. You can access your account using any Skype enabled computer/device in any country worldwide.

It is not possible to create a new iCloud account using a Windows machine. You must create the account using a Mac (10.7.5 or more) or an IOS device (iPhone etc). Once that is done you can sign into and use the account on your Windows machine.

When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with.

I have 2 iTunes accounts at the same address and have 2 iPads 1 and 2 and wish to use both accounts to buy apps for both iPads

On the iPad you can switch between the two accounts by logging out of one (Settings > Store and tapping the account id on the right-hand side) and then logging in with the other account so that you can then buy with that account. Only one account can be logged in at any one time, so if you are buying apps with two accounts when an app gets an update in the store you will only be able to download that update via the account that originally bought/downloaded it. With the currently logged in account you can also download past app purchases from that account via the Purchased tab at the bottom of the App Store app.
Similarly on your computer's iTunes you have can both accounts authorised (Store > Authorise This Computer), but only only can be logged in at a time for purchasing new content (Store > Sign Out then Store > Sign In)
