Using the Brush tool.  It prints 1/3 the size as the brush views.  How do I get the two to match.

For example, if I have a square brush, it will show as 3x3 but stamp as 1x1. All brushes are the same.  A simple round brush will be larger than it stamps as well.   I have tried using it on documents at 300. 200. and 72 dpi.  Always the same.  I changed the Brush Size in Preferences>cursers to Full Size Brush Tip.  restarted and still the same.
What else can I do?  Thank you, Rayleen

I'm using CS6 on a Mac.
