Using the callendar with windows to sync to itunes.

I want to sync my calendar entries to my ipod, but it says i need microsoft outlook.
I have windows live mail which is the upgraded version and the one i use.
Is there a way to bypass/get outlook for windows vista without replacing windows mail?
I have already looked for about an hour where to get outlook with no luck (microsoft has a cluttered download page!!)

To the best of my knowledge, calendar synching is only available with Outlook; if there's a way to sync other calendars, I haven't seen it though someone else here may have additional information. Outlook is a commercial product from Microsoft and must be purchased. It's not a free download, but it is available a separate product without having the buy the full Office suite.

You can only sync to one computer.
You would have to transfer purchases, but the apple ID would need to be the same.
Or find a 3rd party app to transfer content.

The problem though is alot of recommendations from windows people telling me its not practical to enter this arena using a windows xp on a mac and it would be more practical just getting a pc since the industry and all software for the business is done for windows. Saving each image as different size - is it an option for you? I would save images with their name as: 20x30.png, 16x20.png etc etc.
Or explain whether you want these in a webpage in which case only one image is necessary and different sizes are displayed with good CSS code. this is question for Dreamweaver forum if this is what you want.

This issue appears where there are any inconsistencies in your catalog (generally for video files). This issue may be due to offline files, missing files, video scenes. The recommendation here would be to fix these inconsistencies and try again. If that doesn't solve the issue, please follow steps mentioned in email by me.

Itunes 11.1 is for your computer, not your iphone
It is required in order to sync with ios 7.

Is there a way to use PM4.0 with Windows XPH without purchasing the latest suite or upgrades? I origionally purchased a suite with Pagemaker, Photostyler and Freehand just before Aldus went Adobe, and Win3.1 went Win95, then WinME and WinXP. I miss PM and have several manyscripts saved on PM4.0 and can not export or import them to any current wordprocessing programs. I was very far into one manuscript and am now in a position to finish it up but don't want to have to purchase a whole suite in order to do so. Any suggestions for this old tightwad? I think I have a WinME PC in the garage, which if you can re-format with DOS 5 and install Win3 instead (I may have the disks in the garage too), PM4 will positively scream along.
I reckon it's non starter on a modern WinXP PC, as the OS is so different, but if you're willing to experiment, you never know!
But if you want to open some old files to extract the text, you can open the PM4 files and save them with a d/l'ed trial copy of PM7, which will be OK on WinXP

Bad idea.
Content bought with an Apple ID is forever associated with that Apple ID. Apple will not transfer content from one Apple ID to another and Apple will not merge Apple IDs. Unless you are prepared to forfeit all the previously purchased content and buy it all again with the new Apple ID, you will need to maintain the old ID to update and redownload your content.

Using an iPod with Windows Me

As far as I know, you can't use iTunes with Windows Me. I knew that when I bought my iPod, but I figured surely I'd be able to use it without iTunes--with a different program, maybe, like Winamp. Apparently not: my computer wouldn't recognize the iPod as anything but a removable drive, which was fine, except I couldn't play anything on it that way. Tried the installation software that came with the iPod and was told it wouldn't work on anything but a Windows 2000 or XP either.
So then I thought, hey, I've got a semi-functioning Mac OS X at work; I'll just use that to put everything on my iPod, even if I can't use iTunes at home. Great, except it doesn't have the right version of iTunes, won't go online to upgrade, and demands a password to install from the CD. Again using it as an external hard drive, I stick something on it anyway and try to bring it home, whereupon my Windows Me tells me that the iPod needs to be formatted.
This is all making me crazy, because I paid good money for that iPod and I'd really love to, you know, use it. Is there any possible way I can use this iPod with Windows Me, with or without iTunes? Some kind of plug-in I can download, maybe?

I finally figured I had nothing to lose--I'd just downloaded a new version of Real Player, which supposedly will work with iPods and Windows Me--and I let my computer format the iPod, hoping that would let it work with Windows again. Apparently not. Now it won't turn on--it's giving me the folder-and-exclamation-point icon. Resetting it didn't help, and I can't restore it because I can't install the software to my computer in the first place.
I suppose the only thing to do is borrow a friend's computer or something.

I can see my folders by clicking the X next to my name on the Inbox Folder. So I have my folders now, just cannot see them in the left colum or see multiple windows on Outlook. At this point, I can use the folders, just with limited functionality. Thanks -Gina

Photo shop is not allowing me to use the "Intersect with current selection"

Photoshop is not allowing me to use the "Itersect with current selection" marquee. (The "UNION" between two selection marquees.) When I press the [Shift] + [Option] keys while dragging on a first selection marquee, this just creates a new selection and removes the old selection. I have also tried using the "intersect with selection" icon which is not working either.

To get the 360 degree scroll you need to be 'zoomed in' closer (than 1:1) to a picture or web page so that it is too large to fit on your screen.
As you know, with Windows you need, at all times' to scroll the bars at the bottom and/or right of the screen to move the display around (a little like an altazimuth telescope is manouvred). Also, if you accidently leave the scroll bar when dragging, the screen immediately snaps back to where you started from rather than knowing how far down you got before your cursor moved off the bar (if it did). You are certain to know what I mean.
If you are similarly 'zoomed in' to a picture on your new Mac, you don't necessarily need to click and drag on the scroll bars at the bottom (or right) of the window, or use the scroll wheel to move the screen vertically. With your Mac, when zoomed in to a greater than 100%, the mouse allows one toscroll 360 degrees with the mouse - not just vertically. But the picture (or web page needs to be zoomed in somewhat - i.e. greater than 1:1)
With Web pages in Safari and any other Web Browser (with the possible exception of IE with which I have had no experience with sometime before 2002 and I have only 'heard' that it doesn't work ), if you use the keys 'cmd and '+" together.
At he end of the day, you just need to keep exploring your new Mac and have fun finfing all the added extras for yourself.
(There's do many little treasures, it just gettng the time to find them all, in my experience.)
