Using the gain plugin on master outputs

hello-
i do a fair amount of orchestral composing in Logic and subsequently many of my compositions come out very quiet. now, im way too lazy to go in and adjust the levels on ALL my instrument tracks individually because i have a pretty tight deadline and the mix ive got right now already sounds ace --- its just a little quiet.
because logic works in float, can i just add a gain plugin at the end of my master outputs to boost this sucker by 10 or 15 db non-destructively? i cant think of a much better way to put it... i dont work with any live instruments, only samples, so i dont assume that adding the gain at the end would be like a traditional "gain", so to speak, where one might inadvertantly introduce noise. but since logic is working in float, would simply gaining up my master output with this plugin work just as well as tweaking my individual track levels??

Since the Gain is added after the signal is already passing through the channel and therefore only affecting output it is not likely to cause any harm as long as your output if you have Pre-Fader metering turned on) is not going too hot. Tery for between -6 to -3.
And while I am sure you were joking, someone who is doing orchestral composition at a professional level should NEVER use the phrase "I'm way too lazy" as a reason for not doing something. It is not a lazy man's game.
