Using the information in the inventory....
The Inventory system detected a bunch on computers on my network with an old
BIOS version.
I would like to set you the Novell Application Explorer to make available to
the computers connected that have that older version but I would like to set
it up using the distribution criteria and then make it generally available
rather than specifically selecting the workstations.
Does this make sense?
And can I do what I want to do?
If so, how??

Inventory does not really do this as far as I know.
This would take some custom scripting on your part.
You would need a couple ZENworks apps.
The 1st app would use WSH or similar tool to read the bios and related
information from the PC and then place this information into a REG Key or
Permanent Environment variable.
Lots of info about the PC could be stored in this fashion.
Then have a 2nd app that pushes updates based upon those values.

The above is the information in the "TOC" reference page.
I don't understand the "Front" part. The paragraph tag of this part is H1_FrontCoverTOC. There is one chapter named Front Cover in my book file, but there is no paragraph tag named H1_FrontCoverTOC in any of the files in the book.Except for the openObjectId line, all entries correspond to
a paragraph tag that at some time has been specified to be
included when the TOC is generated. An entry with the tag
"ChapterTOC" describes how to format the TOC for the
paragraph tag "Chapter". That is, FM adds "TOC" at the end
of the tagname in the TOC to separate it from the tagname
used in the chapter files.
The TOC reference page may very well contain entries for
tags that no longer are used in the files. As far as I know,
FM doesn't delete entries on this page, it just adds new
ones. So, my guess is that some of your files at some time
has contained tags named "H1_FrontCover" (without "TOC").
If they don't any longer, and "H1_FrontCover" is not
included in the list of tags to generate the TOC for, you
can safely delete that entry.
Regarding "Front", that seems to be a manually added text
that will not serve any purpose. Is it normal text?
Only "building blocks" named "<$something>" will be
interpreted by FM and replaced by whatever the "something"
code stands for (see the manual).

Windows 7 64-bit with MS Outlook 2010. I've seen this now probably 10 times. When I first installed iTunes, I selected:
Preferences -> Devices -> "Prevent iPhonse, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically".
and on my iPhone, I selected:
Info -> Sync Contacts with: Outlook.
Info -> Sync Calendars with: Outlook
Info -> Other -> Sync notes with: Outlook
This works great, and the settings stick. As soon as apple releases any new version (even minor) of iTunes and I install, I immediately receive: "...the information on the iphone is synced with another user account", and have to merge my calendar and contacts, but then once I get into iTunes, I find that ALL of the above settings (prevent syncing, sync calendar, contacts, notes) get reset and are turned off! I am running as a user account with Admin privaleges, but I don't right-click -> "Run as administrator" when I perform the iTunes update.
To reiterate, once I change the settings back, things work normally until the next iTunes update at which it gives me that sync error, and resets my sync options.
Any idea? Thanks!

Create another user for the PC with your name, and try syncing that way.
This way it wont conflic with the other user. -

I would prefer to answer in your post. as I have tried on two occasions to help.. so far this is the first time I can see you stated you are using Lion.
1. Did you download and install the 5.6 utility..?
I said to do it.. you never said yes.. I did that.
Please do it. .. you will get no place before you do.
2. Did you bridge the TC.. ?
If so it will work perfectly.. please post a screen shot of the summary page from the 5.6 utility. If something is wrong I can work it out from there.
3. Or ring apple support and get them to walk you through the setup.. there should be phone support for the first week or two. -
I want to get the information of the attachment without get the whole body

I just upgraded to iPhoto '11. When it was finished many pictures do not appear. I have a black box but the information for the picture is still there. Some are raw and some are jpeg. Also lost all albums. Can anyone offer assistance? Using iOS 10.7.5
Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Well the error message is in Swedish but says: The installation program database is damaged. Please contact the Adobe support (which is a hard thing to do!!). I use Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1.

When i share a contact from my iphone and sent it to any other iphone the information within the notes tab displays incorrectly,
.I usually use this tab for doctors and allergiesI just attempted the share myself with a contact and found it did not transmit the notes field either. I've only used this method for sharing maybe twice since I've had my iPhones. I don't remember if it ever worked before, and then I wouldn't know why it wouldn't. Sorry I couldn't help any more than that.

I am trying to personalize a OA Page but when opened the 'Personalize Page', I received this error msg:
"The personalization tool no longer holds the information of the page or region you want to personalize. Please visit the page or administration tools and start the personalization tool again."
Should I enable any extra profile options or revert back any settings done.
Please advice.

Hi,
I am looking for a script which would provide me with all the information regarding the server, which software were installed, service packs, patches, updated etc.
please let me know if you have any script or PS command to get the information in an excel sheet .
Reason :- The servers are in the process to be decommissioned, as we are going to build new ones, so we need all the information present on the server before being decommissioned

Hey guys. Bought the new Ministry Of Sound album, The Annual 2014 and went to import the music onto iTunes.
The album is on the online store as I was tempted to purchase it there, in hindsight I wish I had, however I didn't and now the information for the CD cannot be found online and insists I could put all 40 odd songs and all it's data into iTunes myself.
I am happy to do that if I must, but surely if the iTunes store has all the information for the album I can transfer all of it to the CD.
If not what else could I do?
ThanksThe CD track identification in iTunes queries information from the Sony/Gracenote database, and interestingly, has nothing to do with the iTunes Store.
You might as well go ahead and type it in. If you wish to be a good citizen, you can then use the iTunes "Submit Track Names" feature to submit to Gracenote, so that your fellow MoS fans will save typing. -

I just update to iOS 7 on my iPhone 4s. The calendars on my iPhone are not keeping the information on the days that should be marked. The info is there in my iCloud on my computer, just not on my phone. Has anyone else had the same problem and what can I do about it? Is it at bug in the iOS 7 update?
What do you mean by "on the days that should be marked"? Are you calendar events displayed on the wrong days?

Who dont have a account from formscentral but just need the information directly in there own inboxes?
Because we're looking for a good and simple way to make qoustion & complain forms. But these need to go to different people in the company.You can have notifications sent to multiple email addresses, but each will need to have a FormsCentral account. They can be free accounts. What you do is create your form and set up the email addresses that you want the information to go to to be Co-authors or Contributors. The co-author/contributor accounts will then need to log into FormsCentral, go to the Options tab and check the email notifications checkbox.

On iTunes when i plug my iphone in, the bar at the bottom with contains the information about the capacity of my iphone, it has a bar called 'other' which has 4GB. I don't know what is taking up that space or how to get rid of it. please help
You can reduce the size to normal, which is about 1GB, by restoring the phone.
