Using the notes box in an appointment in calendar

Hi there
Do you know if you can view a calendar edit box in full screen.? All I can manage is to call up a small panel
This would be very helpful when I use the notes box to type in and later refer / edit action points

If Apple has not received your phone, obviously it can't even be evaluated for warranty purposes. Have you tried calling AppleCare to verify whether they have received the phone or not?

Safari crashes when using the dialog box to import/save files. One doesn't have to actually upload or download any file, the mere invocation of the relevant dialog box brings down all open Safari windows after a couple of seconds.

I have tried in-installing safari but it seems not to help. I have tried installing it to a third, newly installed pc and come to the same result.
All PCs are fully up-to-date as it regards Microsoft and Apple patches. Any ideas as to why this might happen?

Just want to confirm that I am also having this issue, The connection is fine, and it is in fact charging (@ 100%)
Everything Rick has said is like an echo to what is happening to me.
I have tried re-installing iTunes, and restarting the Bonjour service, sadly there is no change.
earlier before i updated iTunes it recognised my iPod but said that I had to update iTunes in order for it to work.
So i updated iTunes but now it's not even showing the device anywhere.
In case this helps:
OS: Windows 8.1
iTunes version: 11.3.1.8
Device: 5th generation iPod touch 16GB with ios 7

Using the Combo Box

I am trying to use the combo box, so that the users can type as well as go through the drop down and pick there choice.
But I have three issues
1. Whats happening is as soon as I type it in and hit submit it will not do anything, until and unless I click on the drop down and then go and click submit.
2. The combo box is a text box and the numbers are not sorted, is there a way to sort numbers for a combo box
3. How do I make the selection appear as the user is typing, for example If I type in 55, it should bring all the entries starting with 55.
I am using Entrylist which is derived by a standard BAPI.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Marcel,
I have selected the action as "System Action" "Submit" "Self". But it still does not work.
The other thing is the COMBO box is a TEXT box and the Values are "NUMBER" values so even when I select "sort" at the Entrylist level it would not sort it properly, simply because COMBO BOX is a Text box.
Please let me know if I am clear enough in explaining myself.

Hi cj0094,
Please try changing the registry key HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\10.0\Annots\cAnnots\cfreetext_003_afreetexttypewriter and change the opacity back to 1. This should reset the color to black.
Note: Please backup the registry before modifying it.

Resizing in Illustrator CC using the Bounding Box is no longer accurate. What happened?

In Illustrator CC, resizing an object using the bounding box is no longer accurate. Snapping to other objects or the grid or anything is completely wrong and, worse, inconsistent. Here is a single box being resized 3 times to the same object. Each time, it becomes a different size.
I used the center-left handle to resize the black box, snapping it to the right edge of the red box. You can see that, each time, it "snaps" to the edge incorrectly. My 80 pt box becomes 78.479 pt, then 79.295 pt, then 79.518 pt.
This is totally unacceptable, obviously. I'm not sure what the point of guides are if they aren't actually guiding. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Did you reinstall after updating to Yosemite? I believe the right order/way is to update the OS first, then reinstall the applications, see 6) below.
Or you may have a look at the list since something is obviously wrong.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

loading data in to the combobox on form load.but, it should be done when atleast one row is active.
the values what ever you are inserting in to combo should be less than or eqhal to 100 or 150.if it exceeds beyond that performance issue arises.it takes more time to load all the data.so, it is better to have 100 or less.

you can fill combo directly also as shown below.

To all,
After -reluctantly- "upgrading" from Acrobat Pro 7 to Pro X I find this new version absolutely maddening.
Pro 7's features were easy to find in the tool bar. Now in Pro X everything is "dumbed down" with everything "nested" into each other...
But I whine and digress from my problem:
QUESTION:
When inserting a checkbox, how can I prevent the note box from appearing?
With every insertion of a checkbox onto a form, a "notebox" appears.

As you can see, when I add a checkmark to a page/form, a "note" is automatically added also. In my old Acrobat v. 7, this did not happen.
Any ideas on how I can set Acrobat Pro X to NOT include this note?

Is it possible to expand the NOTES box?

Is it possible to expand the NOTES box under the GENERAL tab in Photoshop Elements 13 so the whole text can be read? I was able to in earlier versions.

The only way i see is to expand the whole panel.
That is grab the left edge of the General panel and drag to the left until you can see all the text in the Notes box.

InCopy crashes when adding a note using the Notes Palette

I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this problem. Frequently InCopy (CS3 5.0.4) will crash when attempting to add a note from inside the notes palette.
Using the Notes Palette is not always the most efficient. With the curser placed where I want the note (outside a table, of course), the New note option will be grayed out. I then click through the notes already in place and navigate to my current location. After that, the New note option appears. (I would use the Note Tool as a rule, but it is very challenging to place the note right where I want it.)
I have noticed, that if I save right before attempting to add a note, InCopy will not crash. This may be supersition, however.
If this matters, the files I am editing come to me via InDesign as InCopy packages. I am on a new MacBook Pro with 4 GB ram.
I am just wondering if this is a known issue and if there is a fix in the works.

I've not heard of any kind of issue like this but I can tell you that CS3 will not receive any further updates.
BTW, if you use the story or galley view, inserting a note is far easier.

It's just a text field you can associate with a selection. Notes can be applied at the Object, Group, or Layer levels. Use it for whatever information you want. For example, working on an exploded parts diagram, one might choose to name objects (in the Layers palette) by their functional names (relay valve, clutch basket, etc.) and key their part numbers into the Note field. Or working on a die-cut layout, one might target the diecut Layer and key instructions into the note field.
It's just another half-baked feature in Illustrator, half-heartedly duct-taped onto the program (like the poorly implemented Document Info grab-bag palette). A very lame version of object metadata features that other programs provide. For example, Canvas provides a tabular data feature in which you can store multiple columns of information about objects that have been illustrated.

How to use the check box?

How is the check box to be used? If I have 10,000 songs in my itunes library and have 1,000 of them checked, how can I place all 1,000 checked songs into a new playlist that I have created just for them. They are not located together in my library so I can't just hold down the SHIFT key and highlight them all for movement. Also, I would rather not have to hold down the CONTROL key and then search through 10,000 songs for the 1,000 I have checked. So what is the secret to accomplishing this?
Can you sort your library by whether a songs is checked or not? If I could sort them all together as a group, then I could use the SHIFT key to highlight and move them all.
Am I missing something here? How can you select and sort songs by whether they are checked or not in your library?

If only the 1,000 songs you want are currently checked, create a Smart Playlist to collect them.
How to Create a Smart Playlist
- File=>New Smart Playlist
- Playlist is 'whatever playlist you want to use'
- Match only checked songs
Note: There is no way to select the Main Library. If you're working with the Library as a base, you'll need un-check the 'Match the following rule' and check 'Limit to' and put a high enough number to capture all the songs.
Several ways to creatively manage the issue.
You may wish to create a Static Playlist once you are done, and drag those songs into it for more permanence.
