Using the Wacom tablet on CS6

I am on the creative cloud and have down loaded and successfully installed PS6. I am a professional illustrator and use the Wacom tablet. My concern is with the pen pressure effect not staying on. I have went to help option on PS6 and checked for updates and down loaded them with no results and called support as well please help. I went to the Wacom sit as well to check to if my drivers are updated and they are, and called their support as well with no results. I understand that PS6 is a new product and that I may have to wait for patches, that is fine. If there are any other options please advise.

Actually I am having similar issues with Photoshop CS6 extended and the Wacom Intuos2 tablet, that is, there's a variable that CS6 will not work...in my case, it's tilt and rotation. I can get pressure sensitivity to work, but Photoshop CS6 doesn't respond to tilt or rotation. (This is frustrating as I have a painting project coming up in a Photoshop class and I can't get the brush to work right...). Pressure response is fine for me, but the computer will not register the tilt of the pen. When I try it in a different program on my computer (Corel Painter 12), the mouse icon and pen strokes all show that the program is receiving and processing pen tilt, rotation, orientation (pen tip vs. eraser) and pressure. When I try my tablet on Photoshop CS5 on the Mac in my classroom, Photoshop CS5 also responds to pen tilt, rotation, orientation, and pressure.
I have thus far completely deleted the Wacom drivers and reinstalled them with the latest driver version. This has had no effect. From all I can tell, the tablet seems to be working, but CS6 extended isn't reading. What am I missing here?

Today, my FCC complaint hit the same person working on the BBB complaint. Jimmie has been very nice and seems willing to work with this problem. We have been able to come to an agreement. I paid the purchase price for the phone and he returned my upgrade and unlimited data plan. This is what would have occurred if Verizon had given me correct information to begin with. I am happy with this result. He also brought quite a few instances concerning the handling of my transfer and upgrade that did not follow proper procedure. I am also confident that I would not have resolved this without complaining to BBB and or FCC. Verizon had no interest in solving the problem nor did they show any propensity to keeping a 20 year client. Even though this last CSR was very polite and helpful, his sole job is to respond to formal Federal and State complaints. He is required by law to address every complaint and report the reporting agency the agreed upon results - good or bad. Again, I suggest - If you are not getting the proper customer service, complain to someone outside of Verizon. Jimmie had not received any complaints registered with Verizon directly and I still have not had any contact with any other management representative that I was told would call.

Using the rotate tool in CS6

Hi,
I am trying to use the rotate tool in CS6, I have created a petal, I then use the rotate tool to reposition the axis rotation pint, then when I double click to bring up the dialog box or if i go Object>Transform>Rotate the Axis point shifts back to the centre of the petal.
I can only assume that this is a bug.

By the way, double-click on the Rotate tool will rotate the object around its centre via the dialogue box.
Maybe that was confusing you.

Mi imac doesnt let me use teh magic mouse it uses the bamboo tablet instead

i dont know what tha **** this ******* machine did but my 2011 imac whit mountain lion somehow it doesnt let me move whit the mouse, i con only click and use the touch controls on it, but i cant ******* move the cursor anywhere, insetad, for whatever reason it uses the ******* bamboo tablet tahta i use for work.

I guess you mean one of the resume templates.
What "format" have you saved your finished resume in?
The only formats a Windows user will be able to open are .doc (Word), .pdf and rtf. The 1st 2 are usually the best.
There is no Windows version of Pages.

How to I get the the Wacom tablet's pen sensitivity to work on Photoshop when it works in Flash?

Alright so I did some looking around to see if I could use other threads to help solve my issue before I came here to ask. A lot of them seem to be related to surface pro and some of the instructions I followed was to remove USB drivers so that they can re-install themselves and simply re-installing the Wacom drivers.
I am on Windows 8 (64bit) and am using and Intuos 4 Wacom tablet and what seems to be most peculiar is that the pressure sensitivity seems to be working just fine in Flash but has never been able to work in Photoshop. I took this as a sign that this might be more of an issue with the application than the tablet itself since it is clearly registering in another application.
Sorry if this has been answered before! If so, it would be great to get a link otherwise I would greatly be indebted to those able to help me with my problem.

Yes, you have to connect the iPod to that computer and go to the Photos pane for the iPod in iTunes and uncheck sync photos and the click on synce/apply. In the future do not check sync photos.

Contnue to use the commpn ID/account for Settings>iTunes and App stores.

Allow saving of profiles for the Wacom tablet directly in Photoshop

It would be so nice to configure the Wacom settings for different operations and manage them as profiles or tablet spaces directly in Photoshop.
I understand why Wacom may not want this, because they currently sell additional pens to use for this purpose. Silly!

We can't. Photoshop doesn't know anything about the Wacom driver, or any other tablet driver. That data is all handled by the third party driver code.

Is there a way to select multiple sequences and batch export them using the same settings in CS6?

I am a current Final Cut Pro7 user and looking to switch over to Premiere Pro CS6. We edit approx. 100 short (15 sec.) videos daily, and then select them all at the end of the day and batch export them over night using the same export recipe for all. I have having trouble finding an easy way to do this in Premiere pro CS6, as command +E is grayed out if i select more than one sequence at a time.
so far, it appears that i have to select each video individually and manually set encoding recipe and export location for each.... Not only would this be terribly time consuming, but it leaves a lot of room for error and missed videos. I thought i would be able to send all of the sequences to Adobe Media Encoder, but i dont see that option either.
Any suggestions/

Open Media Encoder and add your Sequences:
File > Add Premiere Pro Sequence
Navigate to your Premiere Project and select it in the list.
You can then select multiple Sequences from the Project (Ctrl+Click)
and load them all at once into Media Encoder and apply
the same encoding preset to all Sequences at the same time.

Assuming you're up to date on CS6 updates, and you have Xcode installed, you do this:
In your FLA that is set to use AIR 3.4 or later, look in the application settings, General tab.
You should see a field labelled "iOS Simulator SDK:". In there you put the full path to the Simulator. The path will most likely be:
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SD Ks/iPhoneSimulator6.0.sdk
Once you have done that you should be able to do both Control/Test Movie/on iOS Simulator, and Debug/Debug Movie/on iOS Simulator.
If you do the debug version, wait until the publishing progress has gone away, and the Simulator is open in the background, and then select Debug/Begin Remote Debug Session/ActionScript 3.0. Once Flash is "waiting for connection", go over to the Simulator and open your app.
You may find that the app icon is on the second page of icons. As you would on iPhone you can move the icon either to the dock of the simulator, or to the first page of icons. Then when you do further tests the app will be installed into that location.
Using the simulator will save you hours of time!
Oh, one other thing - you can simulate multitouch by holding down the Option key, which will give you two mirrored finger points on the simulator screen, which is good for testing pinch actions. If you also hold the Shift key you will be able to simulate pan actions.

I noticed in your system details that you're testing out Firefox Nightly (currently version 14.0) and you're in-fact running the latest version. There is presently no tablet oriented interface available on the 'native' version of Firefox for Android as all the mobile developers have been directly focusing on making a great phone experience foremost for the new product. There are plans to create a tablet interface within the near future (there are mockups of the user-interfaces on Bugzilla bugs) time-frame; it is simply just not available yet. Stay tuned.

I use a wacom tablet and since firefox version 7 I am no longer able to program the buttons on the pen or tablet to perform the 'back' function but the keyboard shortcuts still work

Add-ons are the responsibility of their authors. McAfee does not even put their extension on http://addons.mozilla.org you had to install it from their site.
Disable "McAfee Site Advisor" extension which was just updated to 3.4.0, which probably took it out of the addons block list.
* "Ctrl+Shift+A" > find McAfee Site Advisor and use "Disable", and then restart Firefox.
* Do a Google Search no problem
* It seems that if you re-enable Site Advisor again, and restart Firefox you are okay. At least you know where to look if you get the error again or Google searches slow down.

Why does my Wacom tablet only make straight lines with the pencil & brush tool even WITHOUT shift?

I have Photoshop CS3 on Mac OSX 10.5.8 on a white MacBook and I'm using a Wacom CTE-630, and I always had the correct drivers.
Yesterday I discovered that the brush and pencil tools were incapable of doing anything but a dot or a straight line while I used my Wacom tablet. Using those tools with the touchpad works perfectly! Curves and squiggles abound! But for some reason I can't do it with my tablet.
And I yes I tried downloading the latest drivers from the Wacom website... to no avail.
After looking through forums I discovered that it was a problem experienced by users of tablets of other brands, I couldn't find any mention of Wacom tablets having this issue. And then I saw a thread somewhere that mentioned holding shift created straight lines! So I immediately thought that perhaps photoshop was functioning in reverse or maybe my shift button was broken...
So I pressed shift, and something different happened, if I made a dot on the page a line would automatically appear, connecting that dot to the previous dot I had made. Which is in contrast to the issue I had been having which goes something like this:
If I try to make any curved lines, a dot will appear where I first made contact on the page and then when I release the pen from the tablet a straight line will go from there to the dot at the start of the line. In other words, a dot appears when I start a line and no matter what I do with the line after that, a straight line goes from where I ended the line to where I started it!! ARGHHHH!!
And it turns out It's not a Wacom problem, or it doesn't seem to be, because it works fine with the brush tool in Illustrator CS3.
So I came to the conclusion it was Photoshop that was at fault. I found nothing on these forums related to my issue.
I hope someone can help. Because I was really itching to start digitally painting again. =(

Yes I did solve the problem!
Thanks to everyone that suggested things, but none of them worked. In the end it was Wacom, yes... WACOM that solved the problem. Even though it was an Adobe Photoshop issue as far as I could tell. So thank you Wacom, you helped me when I needed it most.
So now to the vital solution:

Please try the step below for reset CS3
For MAC, please hold pressing command + alt+ shift, then open Photoshop.
Get the CS3 update. Start CS3 while holding.
If the problem remains, uninstall and reinstall Adobe Photoshop CS3 again."

I want to uninstall my wacom tablet, but I can't find the driver?

Okay, so i just got a Yiynova monitor and I want to hook it up to my iMac (which i believe is a 2008 or 2009 model and is currently running on OS X 10.5.8) But before I do that I was told I need to uninstall all wacom tablet drivers. My wacom tablet is a model CTE-640 and I've searched all over my computer but I can't seem to find any driver for it anywhere. It was forever ago when I installed it, so I don't even remember what the driver was called. What am I missing? Does anyone have any idea what it might be called? I've searched "wacom" "tablet" "bamboo" and found nothing. Is it possible that there isn't even a driver on my computer and the wacom tablet was just working anyways? (i never had a problem with the tablet, it works fine.)

okay PS. i was just reading the user manual for my tablet, and it said under the section about uninstalling the driver, that without the driver the tablet would fuction only as a mouse and not as a tablet. this is crazy, but i think that for the past several years i've only been using the tablet "as a mouse" (GASP!) to test this i went into photoshop to see if the "eraser" fuction on the back of the pen would work and it didn't(still drew a line, didn't erase).. so pretty sure there was never a driver installed to begin with... .. .. mystery solved? I thiiiiink?
