Using touch id like a scroll

I was wondering if it is possible to put some gestures on iphone's touch id such as going backward and forward ,even scrolling the ios menus or apps. Do u think is it possible?

This is the screen that pops up when I attempt to purchase an app. It does not allow me to use my Touch ID.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

Tm2t. When using High GPU and in secondary landscape, pen and touch react like in landscape

So I just my tm2t and found this odd problem. When Im using the tablet with the High performance GPU and go to secondary landscape the pen and touch react like the screen is in normal landscape. I switch to Low power GPU and the touch and pen is OK. Im so confused and angry!!!

We uninstalled all the ATI software and disabled the driver/card last year because no matter what we did, this problem could not be resolved. We are mostly mobile and do not need high end graphics. The ATI card gets totally in the way of doing anything mobile and wanting us to exit our apps to switch on/off the GPU - are they crazy?

Ipod touch 4 gets hot while using some apps like angry birds?

Is it normal for the upper back of the ipod touch 4 to get hot while using some apps like angry birds? Is this a potential battery problem? It doesnt get hot while charging or playing songs... Just when using some game apps. I assume that it has something to do with battery drain, should I be concerned?

When the iPod is used heavily like for games it is norma for the iPod to get warm. Unless you hav short battery life I would not be concerned.

In the Control Panel for your Mouse there should be an UltraNav tab. Under that tab are all the settings for the touchpad. Check to make sure scrolling is enabled.
If you do not see an UltraNav tab in the Mouse Control Panel, download and install the UltraNav driver and utility:

How do I use "touch -t" to shift a batch of JPG timestamps by one hour?

I'm trying to use "touch -t" to shift a batch of JPG created/modified timestamps by one hour to fix a time zone error. Is this possible?
(I don't want to have to manually go to every file, and enter its current timestamp all the same way except for the month.)
By the way, does using the "touch" command have the same JPG lossy effect as saving the file again?

So you write a script that uses stat to get the current modification time and then add 60 minutes to it, with the date command, then then use that with touch against the file. Nothing to it

I've added an hour to the modification time. If you want to subtract an hour the +1H to -1H
If you want to use shell wildcard selection modify the loop to be something like

If you just want to provide a list of files, you can change the *.jpg to a list of files. JUST BE CAREFUL OF SPACES IN FILE NAMES and directories
If you want a drag and drop application, you can do that with some additional changes and either using Applications -> Automator with the "Run Shell Command" or using Platypus (free download, and a very nice utility). The script would change to:

In the past I was just able to go into the mouse control settings in control panel and reduce wheel scrolling to 1 page at a time. Now i'm not able to scroll one album at a time anymore, even though my mouse control panel is still set to scroll at one page at a time. Its skipping two albums ahead now and I can't pin point to the album I want now unless if I click on it. I haven't used ituens in awhile so it must be something new on the last 2 updates, I don't see anything in the perference menu.

I can't use the keyboard to scroll. I need to keep my hand on the mouse, otherwise I'd never get anything done. Since I have no problem getting Firefox to scroll one page at a time, and I'm constantly jumping between 3 browsers, it would be nice to be able to scroll a full page at a time in Safari, just like I can in Firefox.      I need to create a webpage having two parts.One part is having set of SVG images into it and other part is having canvas.I need to drag those image onto the canvas allowing same image for multiple times and those images on the canvas are movable inside the canvas only. This webpage is only used in iphone or ipad like touching devices so I need to handle touch events.
     There is already jQuery plugin for drag drop functionality but it is not supported for touch events.
It is only for desktop veriosns.So if you know about any jquery plugin let me know.

What I am trying to say is that each time I have to click on the home button to wake up the iphone 5s and then it scans my print and logs me in the phone however I was hoping that by just putting the finger on the button will do the whole thing of waking up + unlocking the phone,

It sounds like it is working the way it should be. You do have to click one of the two buttons. The closest thing to doing it as a single operation is to click the Home button but don't remove your finger from the button (i.e., leave your finger lightly on the button immediately after clicking it).

LP content can only be downloaded on a computer's iTunes (or 1st gen Apple TV), you can't download them on an iOS device - and I haven't seen anything that say it will change in iOS 8. If you don't have a computer then at the moment you won't be able to download/view LP content

Wireless keyboard operation on ipad - how to handle touch functions like email garbage can?

Received gift of wireless keyboard for my ipad. Managed bluetooth pairing and am stumped on functions other than simple typing. Can any keys be used for functions like the garbage can in email?

As far as I know it just replaces the onscreen keyboard, the iPad is a touch device and you will need to touch the screen for some things. The function keys for display brightness control, iPod and volume control also work.

Trouble using touch commands

I am trying to use touch comands so that as well as using a thumbnail to move to a fullscreen image (sym.play("label");) I would like to be able to use the touch comands to swipe between the markers but still keep the functionality of the thumbnails.
I am trying the following code on the stage:

Triggering Audio using Touch Tracks

I've been learning about touch tracks for real-time control of song section playback during live performances. The literature says that you can only trigger midi regions, and not audio. What I'd like is to trigger a folder that contains both midi AND audio, but haven't had much luck.

Couldnt you just turn your audio files into EXS instruments and then use touch tracks?
I dont have any experience using Logic for live performances or using touch tracks, so perhaps I'm way off here, but what exactly are you looking to do? Do you want to have complete access to multiple parts of song(s) in a single click/keyboard note? Do you need to do this without visual references?
When I'm writing music and need to jump around quickly and/or hear different parts of songs I use the following methods...
1. pack different "versions" of cues into folders and "solo" the sections I want to hear. Perhaps this method can be adapted for live performance, as you would simply select the folder with the new part of the song?
2. Markers w/ "jump to next/previous marker" key commands. I use markers to mark sections of my cues/songs, and then simply use key commands to jump around my arrangement. Perhaps this too can be adapted for live performance?
3. "Go to bar" key command. You could have a listing of the starting bars of all your song parts in a text doc (or in marker notes inside logic) and simply enter the exact bar number of the section you want to hear.
Perhaps some of these techniques could be adapted to fit your needs? Once again, sorry if I am way off here, but just thought I'd try to help anyway

Touch pad won't scroll

Trying to scroll using touch pad is very "balky". Works poorly most for the time or not at all

I use mouse most of the time, but there are times when I can't. Not sure what you mean by coordination. Sometimes it just won't scroll. I do use two fingers.
