Using VT04 with distribution centers

This question is for anyone using transaction VT04. The requirement example is for a shipment, containing multiple deliveries for separate ship-to's. This one shipment goes to a redistribution center where it is unloaded and then re loaded on three separate trucks, one for each ship-to.
Will this requirement be met by using transaction VT04? Will one need to have both preliminary leg, main leg and subsequent leg and use Transportation Chain?
What would the main leg be in this scenario?
Does VT04 always force you to have a preliminary leg, main leg and subsequent leg when transportation chain is selected?
Has anyone dealt with this requirement using VT04 and could provide feedback?
APO- TP/VS, TM or 3rd party TMS are not an option at this time.
Cheers,
Ian

  • Firefox with distribution ID

I know this seems silly, but Firefox on my system appears as "Linux x86_64" and I want it to appear as "Debian Linux x86_64".
I know I can use the general.useragent.override option in the user_prefs.js file, but it seems I can't use a partial string for just the platform token of the user agent. So everytime I update Firefox, I would also have to update the Firefox version number in the user_prefs.js file.
I've also compiled Firefox using the --with-distribution-id=org.debian in mozconfig, but that option doesn't seem to affect anything.
Is there another file I should be looking at before or after compile? Or maybe a different string in the user_prefs.js file?

There used to have been the possibility to have a user agent override for a specific server/domain, but this feature has been removed.
    You can try:

The sound input going to the mic is not going to pipe through the speakers like that.  It doesn't do it because it would cause a feedback loop on itself.  The mic input will take sound and output it to a program or to another pathway (like a VoIP or Facetime call, etc.) but it won't behave like a Karaoke machine if that's what you're thinking.

  • Error while using RSCRM_BAPI with remote cubes

    Hi,
We are getting short dump while trying to use RSCRM_BAPI with hierarchies i.e.display hierarchies to extract data to a flat file.
We do get a warning that display hierachies are not longer supported in 2004s with RSCRM_BAPI and have been going on and on with SAP development.  They are saying we need to find alternatives.
I wanted to know if anybody has tried using display hierarchies with RSCRM_BAPI in 2004s if not then I would like to know what are my options in getting a flat hierarchy report on to a flat file?
I dont think infospoke supports flat hierarchy extracts as infoproviders dont store hierarchy information.
    Thanks

    Heres my thought -
to use Bex Broadcaster to download the information,am not sure if RSCRM_BAPI is replaced by new functionality ,might wait for SAP to confirm.
    <b>Key capabilities:-</b>
1)The right information:Based on BExqueries, views, workbooks, Web applications & enterprise reports
2)In different formats:HTML, MHTML, PDF, ZIP, printer formats, online links, SAP alerts…
3)To the right people:e.g., single users, groups, distribution lists, user-specific or role-specific (incl. non-SAP users)
4)In different channels:e-mail, Portal, BExPortfolio (unified access based on Knowledge Management folders), collaboration rooms, Universal Work List…
At the right time:event driven, exception driven, ad-hoc, scheduled

  • Problem with distribution model receiver ports

    Hi,
I am facing a problem with distribution model.
I am using Distribution model for material classification data. I am sending my classification data using CLFMAS message type to one of the receiver. Again another person also sending classification data to another receiver.
But both objects will run at different times.
Problem is for every run and every change it is creating 2 idocs instead of 1 idoc.
I am able to create an IDOC with my changes for classifications. But it is creating 2 idocu2019s instead of creating 1 idoc. Because of there is another distribution model with same message type with different receiver port has been configured. I.e. reason it is creating 2 idocu2019s and sending to both the revivers.
When I run my changes It needs to create 1 idoc and send to my receiver port. If another person run his job it needs to create another idoc.
So how will I filter distribution model based on receiver port? it needs to create only 1 IDOC ..

    Hi kotesh,
    A similar issue.
    check if this will help.
    Do the following:
Go to TOOLS>ALE Development>IDoc Type Development> WE81 and create a new message type and give it a different name - say ORDERS2. Use WE82 to link it to an IDoc Type - say ORDERS05. So now you will have two message types linked to the same IDoc type. Each message type can now be referred in different logical systems without any clashes.
Now you can use BD64 to build your model using message types ORDERS and ORDERS2 without getting the multiple recepient error message.
Then use WE20 to set up each partner profile using your defined output conditions in message control to trigger the creation of the IDoc. Now you will beable to send the same Idoc type to different recepients.

  • Using Maven with OC4J libraries?

Well its my turn for a return question to the fine folks on this forum.
Is anyone out there using Maven with OC4J? I've been using it lately, but there's one area that I'd like to see ideas on how to best approach.
<p>When developing Ant scripts to build projects, I typically create a j2ee.classpath PATH and add to it various jar files from the OC4J distribution.
    </p>
<p>However in Maven, I'm not sure how to best approach this with the OC4J JAR files since several of them have declared dependencies in their META-INF/MANIFEST.MF Class-Path fields -- so they aren't really standalone JAR files. </p>
Take a look at the j2ee/home/admin_client.jar file and its manifest.mf:
    <p>
    Class-Path: lib/adminclient.jar oc4jclient.jar ../../webservices/lib/wsserver.jar lib/ejb.jar
    lib/mx4j-jmx.jar lib/jmxri.jar lib/jmx_remote_api.jar lib/jaas.jar ../../lib/xmlparserv2.jar
    ../../oracle/lib/xmlparserv2.jar lib/javax77.jar lib/javax88.jar ../../diagnostics/lib/ojdl.jar
    ../../oracle/lib/dms.jar ../../oracle/jlib/dms.jar ../../lib/dms.jar ../../jlib/dms.jar lib/jta.jar
    lib/jms.jar lib/connector.jar ../../opmn/lib/optic.jar ../../oracle/jlib/oraclepki.jar ../../jlib
    oraclepki.jar ../../oracle/jlib/ojpse.jar ../../oracle/jdbc/lib/ojdbc14dms.jar ../../oracle/jdbc/lib
    ocrs12.jar ../../oracle/rdbms/jlib/aqapi.jar ../../jlib/ojpse.jar</p>
So if I want to make use admin_client.jar in a maven project, I really need all the other libraries it in turn references -- and they are all specified as relative paths. If I wanted to load admin_client.jar into a local Maven repository, how would it be done? How would these paths be expressed/maintained?

You can use iPhoto Library Manager to copy that album to one library so that all of the files will be in one library to use.
with iPLM you can split libraries up by roll or album or both. Jusgt figure out which library which albums will belong to.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Can I use Solaris with my Home Recording Studio?

    Hello,
I am currently building a basic home recording studio. I recently assembled a new computer and will be purchasing music recording equipment very soon. Before I purchase the audio recording gear, I was curious about a few things pertaining to the use of Solaris as my possible choice system.
The data that I store on my hard drives will need to be secure. I had originally considered RAID 5 though recently found out about RAID Z, which appears to be far ahead of the other RAIDs. I am curious to know more about how to set up a RAID Z system.
The computer will be running Solaris, various Linux or BSD, and Windows Vista. I have 500GB x4 hard drives. I am considering separating one and using it strictly for Vista, and using the remaining 3 with a RAID set-up for nix. If I had a choice, I would put much less hard drive space into Vista (capping it at 150 to 200 GB), though I have yet to come across a RAID system that effectively or efficiently cooperates cross-platform. With that in mind, the majority of the remaining 1.5TB can go into my studio OS - hopefully Solaris - while left-over hard drive space is set aside for various other *nix.
I've used Solaris 10 before, though haven't really gone into detail on the mechanics of such features as ZFS, zones, now RAID Z, and the many more amazing features that Solaris provides. Likewise, I am not really familiar with how well the system might operate with software/applications that I could use for recording and composing music.
Beyond the available 2TB (or 1.5TB RAID-ready) space, my computer is running on a new 64-bit quad-core AMD CPU (~2.6GHz) and currently has 4GB 1066MHz RAM. In my search for preparing a computer that suits me for high performance recording - including the editing and mastering of audio - I am attempting to narrow down my options on the software side of things. I have been very satisfied with the general file management of Solaris, though am unsure of how well it might run as the software side of a home recording studio. An additional factor in deciding will be the software's compatbility with audio PCI cards and external recording/audio interfaces. There is always a question of whether or not the necessary drivers, firmware, or similar is available between any given hardware and software components.
Some other *nix options I have considered - "Ubuntu Studio 64-bit" (though it appears to prefer 32-bit) and "64 Studio" (also Debian-based, though appears to be optimized for 64-bit). Some colleagues have used Gentoo with studio applications, though I don't know of any Linux distributions that offer the versatility, power, stability, and efficiency of Solaris for the operating system that it is.
If I use something like "64 Studio", I will have the advantage of a system that is ready-built for studio recording purposes as well as a system that I know is compatible with the sound gear that I am considering purchasing. However, those systems are restricted by their file system types, RAID availability and dependability, and the general disadvantages of using the Linux kernel in general. (I enjoy Linux, though I admittedly prefer Unix over it.)
Can I use Solaris with my home recording studio?
    Thank you!

    Caught another typo.

I'm not sure what your question is. If you have particular software you want to run, you should see what you can get that package to run under. Sound hw stuff don't tend to be too portable unless it's written on top of OSS (htttp://www.opensound.com). Were I you, I'd consider separating out the storage part and the processing part. Get something like a cheap dell sc440 to be a file server and give the drives to that (unless you actually can get all the components working under solaris).

  • Use of proxy distribution table in ACS v4.0

    HI All,
We are running with Cisco ACS v4.0 AAA server, Here I need the use of Proxy distribution table.
Why is this required and what is the functionality of it.
    Regards
    Suresh

Use ACS as Proxy in a distributed enviornment.
Using proxy, ACS automatically forwards an  authentication requests from AAA clients to AAA servers. After the  request has been successfully authenticated, the authorization  privileges that you configured for the user on the remote AAA server are  passed back to the original ACS, where the AAA client applies the user  profile information for that session.
    Fallback on Failed Connection
You can configure the order in which ACS checks remote AAA servers if a  failure of the network connection to the primary AAA server occurs. If  an authentication request cannot be sent to the first listed server,  because of a network failure for example, the next listed server is  checked. This checking continues, in order, down the list, until the  AAA servers handles the authentication request. (Failed connections are  detected by failure of the nominated server to respond within a  specified time period. That is, the request is timed out.) If ACS cannot  connect to any server in the list, authentication fails.
    Stripping
Stripping allows ACS to remove, or strip, the matched character string  from the username. When you enable stripping, ACS examines each  authentication request for matching information.

  • Maintaining Price Record for Different Stores and Distribution Centers

    Hi expert
I want to maintain price condition record for condition type ZPR0 for one article
for different store and different Distribution Center
    what is t.code and path
if sales price should copy from purchase price what are setting
    thanks

    Hi Hanumant,
    To do sales pricing
    Goto IMG>Sales & Distribution>Basic Functions>Pricing>Pricing Control
    1. Use condition table 406 Site/article
    2. Define Access Sequences ZPR0
        Enter accesses:10 406 Site/article Exclusive x
    3. Define Condition Types (ZPR0 assign newly defined access sequence)
    4. Define And Assign Pricing Procedures (assign condition types ZPR0..etc. to it)
Then maintain condition record , go to VK11 --> Enter your Z condition type (eg. ZPR0)., enter the amounts.
Add the pricing procedure , to sales document type.
For Retail Sales Pricing based on Purchase pricing you can follow the following method:
The retail price is always based on the purchase net/net price. This purchase net price is built up from the purchasing pricing elements or condition types defined to be included in the purchase net price. A planned mark-up is applied to the purchase net/net to calculate the proposed retail price. The planned mark-up can be set by merchandise category and for exceptions, more specifically by article.
You can perform Two-step calculation for retail pricing, for example, for stores that are supplied by a distribution center (internal vendor). Calculating sales prices for the stores is based on the transfer price for distribution centers (preceding organizational unit).
    1. Set up Master Data (WB02) - Relevant Fields should be maintained
    2. Set up Article Master Data - Logistics DC and Store View (MM42)
    Relevant Fields should be maintained
    3. Maintain Mark up for DC(VK11) -Markup % at Distribution channel distribution chain level
Mark ups maintained at two levels:
For DC: At distribution chain level
            Condition type used: AUFS
    For Stores: At article level
         New condition type ZUFS created.
    4. Maintain Mark up for Stores (VK11) Markup % at Store distribution chain level
5 Create Pricing Procedures (IMG) -Pricing Procedures created
    6. Carry out Price calculation for DC(VKP5) - Pricing Document created - DC Transfer price calculated
    7. Carry out Price calculation for Stores (VKP5) - Pricing Document created - Final Retail Price Calculated
The final retail price that is calculated is stored in the condition type VKP0.
    Hope it helps,
    Regards,

  • Using ADF with Eclipse

    Hi guys,
I'm trying to create a sample project using ADF Faces (only the JSF components, no bindings or anything else). Target server is WebLogic 10.3 and IDE is Eclipse 3.4.
First of all, I'm not entirely clear on the relationship between ADF Faces and Trinidad. I know that the former has been donated by Oracle to Apache and it later became the Trinidad project, but how is the current Trinidad project related to the ADF Faces components delivered with WebLogic 10.3? Is there any advantage in using the commercial distribution instead of Trinidad? As I said, we don't want to use the rest of the ADF framework (bindings and all).
Secondly, my deployment has been failing for multiple reasons. The current situation has the WebLogic console displaying the following warning :
    28-Jan-2009 5:13:54 PM oracle.adfinternal.view.faces.renderkit.core.CoreRenderKit _addBasicHTMLRenderKit

    Thanks,

    Hi Shay,
Thank you for your answers. The ADF-Trinidad relationship is now clear to me.
I have installed JDeveloper 11g and succeeded in creating a simple ADF Faces application then deploying it to a stand-alone WebLogic instance. I've learned through the process that even JDeveloper struggles to deploy the application as a WAR, and only succeeds when deploying it as an EAR file.
I am now trying to upgrade this simple application to use Facelets instead of JSPs. JDeveloper 11g has Facelets support but it seems that it cannot mix Facelets and ADF components - after creating a new Facelets page, the Resource Palette only shows standard JSF components and the ADF Faces components are nowhere to be found. Surely I must be missing something?
Given this, I tried updating my setup to include Facelets rendering but I'm running into more troubles. I get one of 2 results depending on how I configure the servlet mapping for the Faces servlet.
    1. If I map the Faces servlet to /faces/*, the page renders, normal HTML tags are rendered but all JSF tags (standard and ADF) are not rendered, they are simply copied verbatim to the web page (as seen in the HTML source). I also get the following message in the console:

  • Learn how to use Powershell with AD, Exchange and Excel

    Hi.
I want to learn how to script in Powershell to make my life easier at work.
Now, I'm creating Distribution Lists with cmdlets, and other simple moves, but I'd like understand and use scripts with Excel to make it easier in AD and Exchange.
Can anyone help me find out where I can learn Powershell with those tools? I've searched google and youtube, and bought books, but I'd like to learn especially about AD and Exchange through Excel.
I also have another question, I'm trying to collect the telephonenumbers in one OU in AD, and found this cmdlet:
    Get-AdUser -Filter * -Properties OfficePhone | FT OfficePhone,UserPrincipalName
I lined ut the OU path before -Filter, and used * -Properties Telephones Mobile to find the phonenumber in Properties-Telephones-Mobile in Active Directory. But I'm obviously doing something wrong.
    Could anyone please help me?

    Hi Wezcomp,
first of all, you can use Get-Help to learn how to use Cmdlets, by asking them what it is they do:
    Get-Help Get-ADUser -Detailed
By Adding the -Detailed Parameter, it will explain each Parameter of Get-ADUser and what it does. Then it will show you examples on how to use the cmdlet. Very useful tool,
Get-Help, learning to use it fully ought to be your first step, as this unlocks your access all other aspects of PowerShell. With that tool in hand, you could theoretically do the rest fully autodidactically (would be frustrating though, since you'd
like to be able to do something specific right now. Don't worry, we'll gladly help anyone truly trying to learn.).
There are lots of tutorials out there that can be useful in a general way (I added my own here). But regarding Excel:
As Fausto said, CSVs are the simple most way to do this. I'd advice against delving too deep into Excel manipulation right now (lots of frustration, little immediate rewards), Csv is your friend. Notable Commands:
    Import-Csv
    Export-Csv
For example, if you want to create a csv list with user data in it, using your previous example, you can do this:
    Get-ADUser -Filter "*" -Properties OfficePhone | Export-Csv "C:\example\users.csv" -NoTypeInformation
By the way: FT (Format-Table) is a treacherous command: It displays objects to the console, but it is a dead end where data is concerned! Only use it when you want to check something quick on the console (like whether you got the right data), before
continuing on without using a Format command.
    Cheers,
    Fred

  • Using AIR with Ruby

How would I use Ruby with the Adobe AIR product, if I use
FLEX or HTML/AJAX to make a Web App, compile it into AIR, but some
of the back end data calculations and retrieval (not Rails) is done
    in Ruby?

    Hi,
You'd need to communicate with your ruby backend via HTTP or
sockets. If your backend is in a central server that all clients are
going to connect, then there is no problem at all.
Otherwise, if the ruby piece has to be on the same machine as
the AIR app, you'll have to handle distribution of the ruby piece
    and the AIR piece separately.

  • Replace secondary site with distribution point

I have a client that would like to remove some unnecessary secondary sites and replace them with distribution points on the same hardware. Is there a built-in way of doing this from the SCCM console? What should be taken into consideration before doing
    such a thing?
Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. ”

No there is no built in way to do this. It's essentially an uninstall (of the Secondary site components) and an fresh install of the DP. Content and boundaries are the only real considerations; you may want to use pre-staged content to essentially
cache a local copy so that it doesn't have to be replicated across the WAN. Technically, if you leave the sccmcontentlib in place, it may be able to reuse this but that's not supported so it may or may not work.

  • Assistance with distribution group behavior

We have a new Exchange 2013 server.  So far, we are happy with it, except for this one issue with distribution groups.
On our old, non-Microsoft mail server, we had mailing lists.  When someone sent an email to the list, the members of the list would receive an email that was listed as "From:
[email protected] on behalf of [email protected]".  We like this behavior because it allows people to easily see who the messages posted on a mailing list came from, but when hitting reply,
the reply would go back to the mailing list, and ***NOT*** the user that sent the email being replied to.
In Exchange 2013, distribution groups function differently.  If a user sends an email to
[email protected], our users see a message that is listed as "From: [email protected]" and "To: [email protected]".  If a user hits reply to this
message, the reply by default goes to the original send and NOT the entire list.  We do NOT like this behavior and wish to change it.
Hitting Reply All when viewing emails from a distribution group is not a viable option...our users will not remember to do that and it will create confusion.
So, to recap, what we want to see when User A send an email to Distribution Group A, then all other users should receive an email that is "From:
[email protected] on behalf of [email protected]".  When our users hit reply to this message, the reply's To: field should, by default, be filled in with
    [email protected] and not
    [email protected]
    How can we accomplish this?

You might be able to achieve something using transport rules/agents (if someone sends to the list, re-write the reply address to the list). It would be ugly though... cringing just thinking about it...
We already attempted this with Transport Rules.  Specifically, we tried to rewrite the Reply-To header.  When attempting to create the rule, Exchange pitches an error message: "Can't set header reply-to with value [email protected]".  Are
we missing something somewhere, some setting that will allow this?
