Using WDS with Windows IAS

We have an autonomous wireless network that is using WPA/TKIP, and authenticating back to a Windows 2003 IAS Server.
We are going to be adding wireless to other offices, and are looking at implementing WDS. I have found documenation on Cisco's site regarding WDS, but none of the documents refer using WDS with IAS. Has anyone been able to implement this?

What I don't understand is in the configuration process of WDS. When adding an access point to WDS, it mentions entering in a username and password. Do I set this username and password as a local account on the IAS server?

I think I failed to mention this, but on the client side, the EAP type is PEAP that we are using. I also noticed that in order to enable 802.11N, I had to change the encryption type to WPA2/AES in order to enable the N speeds.

In the Music tab of iTunes, do you have 'Include Voice Memos' checked?

You cannot drag pics from computer to iphone. This has never been a feature of iphone.
You sync them as you would anything esle.
You select photos from the photos tab. Whatever is selected will be on your iphone. Anything not selected will not be. Make sure that everything you want on your iphone is selected, then sync.

Using Photoshop6 with Windows 8.1

I was forced to change my hard drive and since then have been unable to use/install Photoshop 6. An error message says the Serial Number is incorrect. It is not. I previously had this version working before I changed the hard drive. Adobe chat tells me that I cannot use it with Windows 8.1 but I know it did before. Can anyone help?

If the issue still persists, please post back more detailed information about your memory stick and the event log about hardware issue here for further research.

I cannot use itunes with windows 7. I think the problem has something to do with the fact that a 32 bit xp version was loaded on my machine. I can't uninstall it and the 64 bit version will not install.

What kind of Mac to you have? This camera is a tape based DV one that connects best with firewire and I cannot tell if your Mac has firewire. If your mac *does* have firewire, get a camcorder firewire cable and try again.
ETA: Oops, I am pretty sure that all the "desktop iMacs" have firewire, so you should be good to go. You will probably need a cord that goes from FW800 to your camcorder.

Refer this article to reset Winsock to it's default. Your PCTools may have inserted LSP.

After reset and restarting windows, you may get a prompt to remap LSP, click no.

Extreme as Remote using WDS with Linksys WRT54G router ??

I have seen that the Extreme cannot be used as a remote using WDS with a D-Link wireless router. Is the same true with Linksys wireless routers? I thought I would pose the question before purchasing my 3rd (2 dead, bad luck?) Express or purchasing two Extremes.
I will eventually gravitate towards using an Extreme as my main base station but I do need a remote for wireless printing. I was hoping to put off purchasing an Express until a later date.

Since it doesn't appear that everyone has gotten it to work with this router does that mean special tweeks are required? Is it hit and miss? The wireless router has the latest firmware updates and my network is running with WPA2. Comcast is my provider.

I would like to have internal users authenticate to Wireless LAN Controller Module using Windows IAS server. What option are there for me to present to users? Do they get a separate domain username/password box? Can it pass thru their existing domain login credentials if they already logged into Windows domain? Does any additional client/laptop software need to be installed?

What you should do is configure PEAP and use the IAS so users can authenticate with their AD credentials.

Hi,
in order to apply windows SSO you will need to install the IIS proxy module in front of your portal, this module knows how to handle users authentication using the NTLM/kerberos features MS ADS supports.
the specific procedure for implementing it can be found in the documentation/help. i have managed to find it in the EP6 sp2 security guide but i think it is the same for the EP6 SP9 as well. so just go to this link:
