Using WEB Output HTML Gallery and uploading using ftp upload the HTML page views correctly but images only display the alt tag in the browser window?
After a little investigation, I discovered that PNGs also do not render correctly in IE7 in similar circumstances.
I ended up using Levels in Photoshop to bring the output blacks up to "5", saved the images as PNGs, modified the HTML from .jpg to .png, and that seems to have covered up the problem well enough.
By the way, I did confirm that IE8 beta 2 renders the images correctly.

Two days ago I downloaded the web developer tool bar (aus2.mozilla.com). I tried to use it but gave up. I deleted the tool bar.
I don't have any images anymore. I use Google.com as my home page (default) and the large GOOGLE isn't there anymore. I've also noticed some of the sites I use don't have the continue or next or enter keys anymore. It seems the only thing I have now is the text.Are you sure you are looking at the Google page?? In Firefox 4.0 the default homepage / Start Page in Firefox was changed to '''about:home''' which looks a lot like the former www.google.com/firefox homepage.

I have a website for my artwork. I had a PC and. Now an iMAC. I've used Dreamweaver to update the website. I used to go to Filezilla on the PC a upload the updated pages which would then show updated on the internet. What file like FileZilla should I use?

Click the Source Forge link - make sure you reject offers for any other software during the installation, Source Forge usually will ask you to install other stuff in addition to what you want (Filezilla).
It works well on Mac.
Dreamweaver also has built-in FTP functionality if you want to check that out. -

The hyphen (-) is more search engine friendly, so I label all my photos using hyphens (-) to separate the keywords in the file name
Here's a sample file name - it's for the "Guess Where Berkeley" flickr site

I created a Lightroom HTML Gallery and posted it to the following link.

Though it looksl like the HML gallery shows the original file name in the web page, it looks like Adobe Lightroom modified each photo's file name by changing the - (hyphen) to an underscore (_)

Ira SerkesInDesign's interactive PDF support is a small subset of what you can do in Acrobat Profesional.
I think you probably want to create a button (or change an existing button) in Acrobat Pro that causes Acrobat to close the document -- that should be analagous to "exitting the CD." I assume your autorun file is opening the PDF in Adobe Reader? You have not included it and are not specific, so it is tough to say.
I believe in Acrobat Javascript you can close the document with this.closeDoc(). You'll probaly need to ask on the Acrobat forums (possiby Acrobat Scripting) for more detail. -

I am using the dynamic signal analyzer.vi but this vi has the output as single precision. How can I change this to DBL precision? If I change the representation from single to double in the AI buffer read.vi labview returns ilegal operation and crash. I have labview 5.1 on windows 95 and one AT-MIO16XE50 DAQ board.

Ricardo.Probably by changing the data type that lvdaq.dll expects to write to is causing the crash. I can't test this since I have only 6.1 installed now. In any case, since the daq card is only 16 bits, the single precision is probably adequate for AI Buffer Read. If you do need the greater precision later on, you should be able to change representation in any one of the upper level VIs.

I'm using OS 10.6.8 and Mail 4.5. When I receive mails with attachments which are visible the save button doesn't work. And some contacts occasionally have problems opening files sent by me using Mail too. This was never a problem on pre-Intel Mac. A real Mac **** up ! Any ideas ?
Can you drag and drop the attachments visible in the email to the Desktop OK or does that fail ?
Re the sending: Are these recipients on Mac's or PC's as the file type could be an issue, if on Mac's then try setting the Mail Preferences Composing setting to Plain Text not Rich Text and see if that improves things. -
How do I make a 20 X 30 print with layers of 16 X 20, 12 X 18, 11 X 14, 8 X 12, 8 X 10, 5 X 7 and 4 X 6 of the same image to display the different sizes available to someone? Using Elements 13 with Windows 8.1

ThanksSaving each image as different size - is it an option for you? I would save images with their name as: 20x30.png, 16x20.png etc etc.
Or explain whether you want these in a webpage in which case only one image is necessary and different sizes are displayed with good CSS code. this is question for Dreamweaver forum if this is what you want. -
I have a UK apple mac and im trying to use mirroring so when searching google, ebay, writting document it shows up on my tv but i dont have the option of 'Mirroring' when i click on the rectangular box in lower right hand corner. Anyone have advice on how I can do this?

AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). It also requires the computer to be using wi-fi.

My Macbook pro often won't start up since I installed Lion, and I have to shut it down using power button. My desktop icons don't appear and the dock won't open. I only have the little circle of color spinning endlessly. What's wrong now!

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
MacBook Pro i5 with retina will not recognize WD Passport even though I successfully used it to transfer programs and files from my older MacBook ten days ago. It receives power from the USB, but when using Time Machine I receive the message that there is not an external device connected.
If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues. -

iPad 2, iOS 5.0.1Although this isn't currently possible in the iOS Calendar app, go to iCloud.com (not on your iPad, but on a computer browser like Safari or Firefox) and log in. There, you can add an event in Calendar and have the options to make it repeat however you want.

Your question has been answered. Jailbreaking cannot be discussed here. If you buy a phone locked to a carrier, it would be down to them to unlock it, and that's very unlikely if you've only just got the phone. Locked phones are "cheap" for a reason - you're signing up for a contract and that subsidises the cost of the phone.
