Using win7 and IE I am unable to successfully download an interactive document for completion online

I use Window 7 and Internet Explorer and Acrobat XI to download an eletter for completion on line. The down is completed but the Acrobat window remains grey and no content is displayed and the window freezes.

I am unable to successfully download updates to my Apple TV. I am stuck on software 5.1. Am I going to just have to buy a new Apple TV or can Apple TV be repaired. Anybody know any tricks. I am connected to Internet with through a power line adapter. All of my other Internet based applications are working fine through this connection so I don't think the power line connection has any bearing on this failure to download and update.

If it scare y ou then take the machien back and ask the Apple Store to do this for you. What has probably filled your computer is large libraries such as music, photos and movies. Apple explains how to move those libraries to an external HD. Please read:

I can no longer open a new tab by clicking on it or by using file and new tab menu, so what do I change or reset for new tabs to work?

The tabs were working fine, but now tabs will not open when I click on the 'open a new tab + ' button, or if I go to 'file, new tab'. A new tab only opens when I click a link, but I cannot open a tab at will to start a new page. I used your troubleshooting data, but it did not help. I checked tabs settings in Options and all is checked, and I even reinstalled firefox. What do I do to reset or change settings so the tabs will open?

There is a reported incompatibility between the Ask Toolbar and Firefox 3.6.13 that causes new tabs to not open. This problem needs to be fixed by Ask; they need to update their toolbar add-on for Firefox. Until the incompatibility is fixed by Ask, you can disable the Ask Toolbar or un-install it from your system.

go into finder
on the top bar click on "Go"
hold alt and "Libraries" should pop up
go into libraries and click "application support"

TS1398 I cannot start to use my new ipad mini as it is stuck at the very first step after restoring my old backup. It says to choose a wifi, I do and then it says 'Unable to connect' There is no options for a password and I cannot access any other screen!

I have tried going past the first set up stage, still with no wifi. I have then tried restoring the ipad mini, still no wifi available. Both my ipone and Apple Mac have wifi full bars. Please help. I only picked up my new ipad today. I am thinking it may be faulty.

It may be faulty but you should try to activate it first in order to be sure.
Why don't you activate it using iTunes on the Mac and then troubleshoot the WiFi connection. Connect the Mini to the Mac with the cable and iTunes should startup and take you through activation. If you do not autosync and iTunes des not start up on it's own, then launch it yourself.

Tried to use fbsplash and now I am unable to boot

it looks like I have done something wrong.
I've followed the wiki's "suspend to disk" description and after fixing some minor problems it was working fine.
Then I gave fbsplash a try and that is where something went wrong.
After fbsplash has replaced the initscripts my system refuses to boot.
When it tries to boot arch it tells me something about "static dev" and then tries to load modules and this is where it stops and give me the "crtl+d or root password" prompt.
I have uninstalled fbsplash and installed the default initscript again but the problem remains,
it still reports something about "static udev" and hangs on "loading modules".
How can I get my system to load arch again ?

Loggin in with root password, remounting my partition with write access and reinstalling udev did the trick.

HT201316 This is ridiculous - I am using bootcamp and after waiting over 2 hrs to download this OS, and attempt to install, I get an error message - no recovery partition. So much for user-friendly MAC.

I am now advised by the links to ' wipe my bootcamp partition, and reinstall SnowLeopard (you are kidding..) AND
re down load Mountain Lion (2 hr + again - are you joking? ) THEN recreate my bootcamp partition (im using win XP on this).

Did the installer get deleted? If it fails to install, I didn't think it would get deleted. Check the Applications folder.

You can create a recovery hd on another drive and install on the startup drive (if your drive is formatted correctly).
Otherwise, you can install Mountain Lion on an external drive.

Is there anyway to use imp and rename a tablespace during import? Sort of what remap_tablespace for datapump import does?

I have a dump file from a 9i Oracle database with tablespace USERDEL_DATA but my database in 11g has tablespace USER_DEL_DATA. I don't want to name the tablespace what it is called in the 9i database because the naming convention is not consistent with what I have been naming the tablespaces. There needs to be a '_' between USER and DEL.
The problem I have is that, each time I try importing to 11g database, some tables that probably have USERDEL_DATA as their default tablespace in the 9i database would not import into the 11g database. Is there any parameter (I haven't found one yet) using native import (i.e. imp) to remap_tablespace? I know with impdp, I would be able to remap tablespace easily but this dump file is from a 9i database and impdp would not work on it. Please help.

The old exp/imp utilities have a tablespace transport mode, sort of like the end goal, but maybe not quite exactly.

That's not quite accurate, users have a default tablespace, used for table creation when a tablespace isn't specified in the DDL.
What we've done when an export file has tablespaces that disagree with the tablespace names in the import target, go ahead and create the disagreeable tablepspace, and set the target schema(s) user(s) to have zero quota on the "bad" named tablespace. The IGNORE=Y imp setting will end up putting the tables into the user default tablespace, as long as the user(s) haven't picked up the unlimited tablespace system privilege somehow/somewhere.
So when import is done, just drop the bad tablespace [including contents and datafiles]; and Problem Solved.

Not seeing a problem there. Its got a name, tablespace(s) have to have one. Don't care what its called, just do have to know about it for backup/recovery, that would be the critical bit..

Trying to download Game of Thrones to IPAD using cloud and bought extra storage, but only part downloads??

I bought Game of Thrones entire season 1 and I tried to download it to my IPAD. It said I didn't have enough storage so I bought more Icloud storage. It downloaded most but not all of it. There is still 12GB of storage, what am I doing wrong?
Q2 - when it's all downloaded then can I view it on my MAC also from the cloud and my husband on his IPAD or MAC?

Unfortunately downloads larger than 20mbps require wifi due to most carriers having data limits. This "requirement" keeps people who are not familiar with data and what takes up a lot of data from going over.
