Using Windows 8 and can't authorize my computer to upload apps and play music on my new laptop. There is no "authorize computer" in a drop down menu as suggested in iTune store or its support page. What do I need to do to fix problem?
MY personal thinks to Radez29. Yes, it is now authorized. BUT, I have an obvious question and an obvious statement.
Question......why, in my many emails to/from Apple support, was this simple solution not given to me?
Statement.......Apple should consider "terminating" the present employees and hiring Radez29. He obviously knows a LOT more than the Apple support team.

Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

I have already tried removing firefox from my firewall. Even when I do that, my firewall doesn't detect firefox and prompt me to add it. And when I manually add it, it still doesn't work anyways. I've already tried the link as well, but it has been unhelpful. :/

I need to download the itunes songd purchesed from I tunes in my computer, but it ask to authorize it. I cant find the way to do it.
Choose Store -> Authorize this Computer and enter in the Apple ID credentials used to make the iTunes purchases.

Is there anyway that I can upload my iPhone apps to my Mac?If you intent to begin syncing your phone with your new computer, to avoid losing your data copy the entire iTunes folder from your old computer to your new one using one of the methods outlined here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527. You also need to move any other synced data that is not in your iTunes library such as any synced photos, calendars, contacts, etc.
Another option is to use Migration Assistant on your mac (available here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1415) to migrate your data to your new computer. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4796. -
I'm trying to sync/back-up apps on my iPhone 3G and iTunes keeps telling me it can't complete the operation because "the apps on my iPhone cannot be determined." What the **** does this mean?!

I use Windows Vista and Microsoft Outlook. After migrating to iCloud, the calendar of iCloud tranferred only part of my past Calendar items to the folder iCloud Calendar in my Outlook. How can I transfer all the entries? In iCloud's site all are there.
If the calendar is on iCoud.com, all you would need to do to get it on your phone is go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, sign into your iCoud account and turn Calendars on. The iCloud calendars will then download to your phone.

My firefox updated this morning. Since the update I can no longer post to facebook. Any thoughts? Other browsers work. I am using Windows 7 and Firefox 10.0.1. All was working fine yesterday.
BTW, I can read everything just fine, but when enter information to post and press the post button, nothing happens. I have another computer running Win XP and firefox 8.x and all is fine.

I got a new Kobo and tried to register it so that I can download books from the public library. When I tried to register my device I received the following message " You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again.

GeoffI had a similiar problem, with my multiple devices. I open iTunes and when all devices were connected I went to the info section on each device. Under info I checked the sync calandars. Under that I click all calanders. I then did the apply in low right. I then did the sync function and it fixed it for me. You have to do this for each device.
I also checked the device (ipad,Iphone) themselves and change the calander selection to NO Catagory. Hope this helps. -
I am using Windows 7 and have installed Adobe Reader 4, in order to use a Kobo E-Reader. When I try to "Borrow" the book from the Library, I get a message that it cannot find the program to use to open it.
This problem started about 2 months ago. Up to that time everything worked well.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Yes you can remove it and your photos will not be removed. Un install it from add or remove or from the start menu.
