Using wliconsole's process instance monitoring and audit trail

Hello,
I have couple of questions about wliconsole's process monitoring capabilities to be able to use in real production environments.
1. Is it possible to add some custom data to the Process Instance Summary table? For example, we would like to show the party that send the initial request, and some internal process type information.
2. How can we achieve audit trail logging when we have several processes? For example, we have business processes that span over several wli-processes, and our process is split into several re-usable sub-processes. And the audit trail stops at the process boundaries. Finding the corresponding sub-processes is quite a challenge now.

The WLI version we're about to use is 8.1 sp2.
One question more:
3. Is there somekind of metadata or resource directory in wliconsole or some place else?
We're about use a SOA style architecture where re-usable business logic is modeled as web services.
So we would like to have one place (a web page) where the available services could be seen and corresponding WSDLs and schemas downloaded.
Or are we just looking at the wrong product? ;)

Disabling Process Instance Monitoring

I am using Weblogic 8.1 service Pack 5. I have a stand alone class to deploy my application on Weblogic. The Process Instance Monitoring should be disabled during this. We can control this through the WLIConsole.
Is there any way to disable the Process Instance Monitoring using Weblogic API?

The run time bean information is also stored in the default database pointbase of weblogic.You can point this database to any other database like Oracle ,db2 etc.You need to run the databse scripts which you can find in the installed directory.
You need to create a connectionPool,JNDI and need to use this JNDI name in the weblogic server Admin console.
Or you can change the default database setting during the domain creation.

During the Process Instance Monitoring mechanism, the data generated as process instances execute is initially stored in the runtime database. How can I configure the monitoring information to go into a database or a local file?

Iam using WebLogic8.1 Integration BPM feature. I've designed a Worklist based application.
In the business process, i've to call a java class method from the business process
which takes the process instance and task related properties (viz. the task id,
task name, the current actor etc.). How could i supply these values from within
a business process.

You can get the task infromation by calling the task control method TeskInfo getTaskInfo()

I'm sorry, I should have said thru Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi. I want to use the mini as a base station and the iPad like a laptop that I can sync when I'm home and carry with me when I travel. Is is possible to hook these 2 up - iPad/mini, through Bluetooth? I understand I need to use a regular monitor/keyboard/mouse on the initial install.

Using the GT70 with external monitor and lid closed

I wasn't sure where to post this question.
I have several laptops and use external monitors. I close the lid on the laptops and the display continues to work.
On the GT70, the system shuts down. It won't allow me to use the external keyboard and mouse or display the session.
Any suggestions if there is a configuration option to allow the GT70 to continue to function with external monitor and lid closed.

Yup. This is a windows setting. You need to go into your control panel -> power options -> "Choose when the computer sleeps" and "Choose what closing the lid does"
That should solve the problem. I currently have my GT70 hooked up to a 42" TV and I can close the lid and it stays on and the TV continues displaying as well. No problems. =]

WLC/WCS Guest Access and Audit trail

I am currently using WLC version 4.2.112.0 and WCS version 5.0.56.2 and am looking for a way to keep an audit trail for assigned Guests rather than for the LobbyAdministrator creation and deletion of accouts...is this a feature of the WCS?
I know that i could use AD and use accounting portion of AAA of the radius server but is this function available on the WCS?

Monitoring and auditing when Send as is used

We're running 2010 sp2, soon to run sp3.
we have users with send as permissions for some mailboxes. we want to know if a message was sent from a mailbox by a user with the send as permission and what user sent the message.
is this tracking available in Exchange 2010?

well there isn't any is there in 9.0.2...very shoddy and when i eventually found some sql scripts to run they tell me i need a mid-tier patch they haven't verified yet. so i'm left with an unauditable system.

CMappy, there are a number of real time metrics you may use to monitor Oracle9iAS Portal 9.0.2 out of the box by using the Enterprise Manager Website. The Enterprise Manager Website is by default accessed on port 1810 of your Oracle9i Application Server.
You may also audit edit actions in Oracle9iAS Portal by accessing the log tables in the Portal Repository, by default all edit actions are logged into these tables. Can I keep firefox at a 125% zoom level? I use my HDTV as a monitor and would like the view to be larger without having to hit "ctrl +" on each web page.

SICF Services - All active services and audit trail

We have upgraded one of our client environment from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 - Ehp4 and activated SICF services for Portal applications. We are using ESS, MSS, ECM and HR Admin for Portal and during setup we activated several services.
I was wondering if their is any way to find out all activated services and we can audit who activated all services from backend from ERP 6.0.

As per SAP "Note 1555208 - ICF services become inactive after upgrade or SP update" we can find the list of active services along with path using the report RS_ICF_SERV_ADMIN_TASKS

Fetching process details using process instance id

Hi,
I have process instance ids captured in a CE table and I am looking to include a feature in existing UI5 application to use the process instance id and fetch it' s corresponding process details like history, context data etc., back to UI.
Any helpfull doc/ ideas on how to implement this will be appreciated.

I didn' t get a chance to try on process histroy however with the responses seen here looks like it is not possible.
Currently I am able to get the task details like the claimed user, list of potential users yet to claim the task etc., which is still usefull in my case.

BPEL console - cannot see the process audit trail and visual flow

Hi All,
The Visual Flow and Audit Trail for a BPEL is not appearing for me, when I log in to the BPEL console. Fortunately, the 'view as raw xml' screen is working, hence I am not completely helpless, but I would like to see the graphical representations of the process which is just not appearing.
I am on 10.1.2.0.0 with the 3 patches. Is anyone else also facing this issue? If yes, then has anybody found a solution?

That's strange because I am using Internet Explorer. Maybe it is an installation issue or something. Let me try with Firefox. And if that does not work, I will probably uninstall the BPEL designer and re-install it. Hopefully, that would do the trick.

Transactions used to monitor the Process chains
RSPCM
SE38 >/SSA/BWT or ST13>BW-TOOLS
--> clic on execute --> select the process chains radio button --> execute
--> click on process chains -->if you want to monitor the specific process chain enter the process chain id or if you want to monitor the process chains that are running in a particular date and time interval simply enter the values and click on execute...
it will display the process chains status and time of the runs etc...
