Using your mac book pro internationally!

how do?
I am thinking of buying a new mac book pro, but I am trying to work out
1. where to buy it, ie here in Ireland, or in the the States.
and 2. I am emergrating to Oz in 5 months or so and I am concerned that the voltage difference may mess the computer up.
Any Ideas?

1) I normally recommend buying it in the country where you're going to use it the most.
2) No problem as the MagSafe power adapter can handle voltages from 100-240V. All you need is a power plug adapter from UK/Ireland/USA to Australian. Otherwise, yu can always buy the Apple Worldwide Travel Kit which provides the white adapter plugs for all countries. It is expensive but is handy.
