I have the same thread in the ZCM11-Forum, but with ten it seems some people have found a solution. So, can you please look at this thread if you know how to boot the ZCM via an external PXE-Server.

WLC Web-auth fail with external RADIUS server

I am having some issues when I try to authenticate an AD account against a NAP Radius Server on Windows 2008.
In fact, I own a WLC 2106 and I configured it to authenticate users againts a radius Server with Active Directory. I set the Web Radius Authentication to CHAP on the controller tab from the WLC 2106 and i am getting the error below
: Authentication failed for gcasanova. When I set the controller to Web Radius Authentication to PAP, everything is working fine. I am able to connect to through the controller using an AD Account. But my purpose is not use PAP which is an unsecure protocol since password are sent as plaintext on the network.
Can someone tell me what's wrong?

I have microsoft outlook installed on my Mac book pro, I can only use the outlook with the office server where it was setup, I can't use outlook else where, is there any way I can reset the settings in order to be able to use outlook every where?

How to Synchronize Cluster timing with external NTP server/device? If external NTP device is down will have any impact in the cluster setup?

If external NTP device is down will have any impact in the cluster setup?You should configure the cluster nodes as peers as well as getting the time from the external NTP server.
If the external NTP server fails, then time will drift, but at least the cluster nodes keep themselves in sync to have a consistent view.

"Use RAW files with external editor" greyed out for Photoshop CS2?

I've just upgraded from iPhoto 5, and the "Use RAW files with external editor" option in the advanced preferences is greyed out when I select Photoshop CS2 as my external editor (back in the General pane).
It works fine when Preview.app is selected. I can understand that pre-CS2 Photoshop wouldn't be available, but CS2 is capable of editing RAW images.
Has anyone been able to get iPhoto 6 to send a RAW image to Photoshop CS2 using this preference? I've written an Applescript to do it in iPhoto 5, but I'd rather use something cleaner...
15" PowerBook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.4)

Works great with Photoshop Elements, opens with Camera Raw. The issue is you can't save it so that iPhoto gets the changes.
You have to save it and then re-import. I tried all permutations of saving it in originals and modified folders in the library. No luck. The only thing I didn't try is to save it as a jpeg over the top of the full sized one iPhoto created on import.

Help: Problem using Zen Micro with Yahoo Unlimited Music Serv

I get a "Error reading device contents: The Data is Invalid" message when I try to synchronize my Zen Micro with the Yahoo music engine. When I first connect my Zen via usb, the Yahoo engine recognizes the Zen Micro but it is unable to read the contents of the Zen prior to my synchronizing. After trying to read my Zen for a while, I get the pop up message described above. I am using version 2..02 zen firmware and version .0..4 of the Yahoo engine.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? Does the Zen Micro actually work with the Yahoo service?

Authentication Policy ISE with External RADIUS Server

Hi All,
I would like to authenticate client by using External RADIUS. Once I create authentication policy using the new compound condition (wireless dot1x + Radius Username Matches "domainB\") I would like to forward the user authentication who make an authen using domainB\username to the External RADIUS Server Sequence. But when I check on the authentication dashboard, it still authenticate using the default authentication rule.
Please suggest about this scenario.

Here is some infos.
ISEs are deployed in 2 domains such as "acme.com" and "sub.acme.com"
Each domain does not make a trusted relationship so these 2 domains cannot communicate between them.
Each domain has owned Enterprise Root CA (Microsoft)
Client who need to access the network need to authenticate with EAP-TLS.
My environment
My ISE node joined into domain "acme.com"
User will be "[email protected]"
Once the user from "[email protected]" try to authenticate, I would like to forward the RADIUS request from ISEs (acme.com) to other ISEs (sub.acme.com)
After ISEs in "sub.acme.com" return RADIUS-ACCEPT then ISEs in "acme.com" will process an authorization policy.

Configuring Cisco ISE for Authorization with External Radius Server attribute

Hi,
I'm trying to integrate an external radius server with Cisco ISE.
I created an External Identity Store>Radius Token Server.
I created a Identity Store sequence with just one identity store just as creadted above.
And I was able to authenticate successfully.
But when it comes to authorization.
I observed we just have one tab named Authorization while creating Radius Token server.
And it always refers to ACS:attribute_name.
If I want to define a IETF radius attribute, (lets say class with attribute id as 25), how could I do it.
In Cisco ACS we have a direct entry option in authorization tab where we can define the radius (IETF) attribute within Radius token server creation (within radius token server>Directory attribute tab).
How ever I try to define the IETF attribute here (class,IETF:Class) I am not able to authorize with this attribute value.
I tried with just one single authorization rule where it could hit.But observed it to go the default(as none of the rules defined matches the condition).
Can anyone guide me how can we define a IETF radius attribute for authorization within Cisco ISE and what policy could we set it to work as authorization.

This is the step of Creating and Editing RADIUS Vendors
To create and edit a RADIUS vendor, complete the following steps:
Step 1 From the Administration mega menu, choose Resources > RADIUS Vendors.
The RADIUS Vendors page appears with a list of RADIUS vendors that ISE supports.
Step 2 Click Create to create a new RADIUS vendor or click the radio button next to the RADIUS vendor that
you want to edit and click Edit.
Step 3 Enter the following information:
• Name—(Required) Name of the RADIUS vendor.
• Description—An optional description for the vendor.
• Vendor ID—(Required) The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA)-approved ID for the
vendor.
• Vendor Attribute Type Field Length—(Required) The number of bytes taken from the attribute value
to be used to specify the attribute type. Valid values are 1, 2, and 4. The default value is 1.
• Vendor Attribute Size Field Length—(Required) The number of bytes taken from the attribute value
to be used to specify the attribute length. Valid values are 0 and 1. The default value is 1.
Step 4 Click Submit to save the RADIUS vendor.

Using a Mac with a proxy server

Hi I’m very new to Macs to apologies if this is a really silly question. I’m
trying to setup a Mac on our network and I’m having an issue getting it to work
properly with our proxy server. I have connected the Mac to the network and
selected automatic proxy configuration in the network settings using the URL of
our Pac file. I am asked for a proxy username and password when I initially try and
access a website but once I have entered my credentials they are saved in
keychain and anyone coming after me can browse using my account. I work in a
hospital so there are many different people accessing different devices. We
monitor and trace all users internet browsing so my question is can I configure
the Mac to ask for proxy credentials for different users? On our windows devices
a login box will appear if the browser has been closed and reopened. Can I do
this with the Mac?????

Do NOT store the proxy server username and password in Keychain.
Easy to say, but by default, the next person to enter their password is likely to store their username password in the Keychain.
You can use Applications -> Utilities -> Keychain Access to give the Keychain a separate password and to auto-lock it after 'n' minutes. If you are the only one to know the Keychain password, then no one will be able to add the Proxy server username/password to the keychain.
Keychain Access -> Edit -> Change Settings for Keychain Login...
Keychain Access -> Edit -> Change Password for Keychain Login... (this is NOT required; you can keep the keychain set to use the same password you use for your login, as long as no one else knows that password; changing the settings to lock the keychain is sufficient for your needs)
The good news is that only you will be able to access stuff stored in the Keychain. The bad news is that if you do need stuff in the Keychain, you will need to enter the keychain password everytime you need to get at them.

Problems in transforming XML to HTML using HP-UX with Netscape Enterprise Server 4.0 sp3

Has anyone ever had any problem using XML in NES 4.0 sp3?
I'm using the libraries com.sun.xml.parser, com.sun.xml.tree, javax.xml.transform.
The html is being created but is not being returned.
(it is not showed in browser)
This same xml application works well in Solaris with Iplanet Web Server 4.1, but it is not working in HP-UX with Netscape Enterprise Server 4.0 sp3.
I'm entirely lost. I don't know if there is a bug in this version (NES 4.0) or if I need other xml libraries or it is a problem of JRE version.
Any comments will be appreciate.

Using the GT70 with external monitor and lid closed

I wasn't sure where to post this question.
I have several laptops and use external monitors. I close the lid on the laptops and the display continues to work.
On the GT70, the system shuts down. It won't allow me to use the external keyboard and mouse or display the session.
Any suggestions if there is a configuration option to allow the GT70 to continue to function with external monitor and lid closed.

Yup. This is a windows setting. You need to go into your control panel -> power options -> "Choose when the computer sleeps" and "Choose what closing the lid does"
That should solve the problem. I currently have my GT70 hooked up to a 42" TV and I can close the lid and it stays on and the TV continues displaying as well. No problems. =]

Do not under any circumstances physicly modify an iPod conection so that it will fit the Vision:m.
As stated above the pin outs are completly different and plugging an iPod lead into a vision:m will fry the vision:m
However it shold be technicly possible to make an adaptor lead that will suply the correct volatges etc to the vision:m from an ipod interface.

Using oc4j Jaas with external user-base

Im evaluating the possibility of migrating my application from BEA Weblogic 7.00 to Oracle9iAS. I Use OC4j 9.0.3 for the migration proof.
My Weblogic application uses a LoginModule, written by us which access our existing user-base (stored in an rdbms).
We use proprietary Principal classes and update the Subject when a login 'transaction' is committed.
Our EJB code (which is the resource we want to protect) includes role definitions and the specific weblogic deployment-descriptors includes mapping between the roles defined in the ejb dd and the principal names we return with the login-module.
I have some questions:
1. How can i perform a similar mapping (propriatary principal names to ejb roles), do i have to declare all those principals in jazn.data?, where do I have to declare them?
2. Can i disregard the UserManager concept?
3. Do i have to implement a LoginContext on my own?
4. Do I need to explicitly call LoginCOntext.login in my login code or is it automatically done (please elaborate)?
5. Do i have to keep using RealmLoginManager along with my LoginModule?
6. Where is the preferable place for putting the login module (application’s ear file?)
7. Can i use any LoginModule which simply implements the JAAS LoginModule interface?, are there any specific oracle behavior/requirement i should know about?
8. What is the class name for the JAZN class which serves as the default LoginContext?
Note: I dont want to integrate with OID or manage the user-base using Oracles JAZN-XML, i want to simply integrate with my own existing user authentication data and use it for authorizing calls to EJBS.

sorry for delay in repsonding.
I only use my LDAP directory to manage poeple and groups but not organisational units.
When a user logs in using BPM, you view the details for a person in process administrator or view a groups members etc that information is then stored in the bpm database. That information is refreshed whenever the directory service is polled. The frequency of this is determined by the value of 'Directory Polling Interval' set under the Other tab of your engine.
I don't belive the user passwords etc are stored in the bpm database only meta information about people and groups and therefore your directory service must be available whenever a user tries to login to workspace etc.

When I use time machine with my external harddrive to back up computer, some music from iTunes library, and some photos from iPhoto library are missing when I check backup disk. I am using latest version of mountain lion. Am I doing something wrong?

First, Time Machine doesn't completely back up the iPhoto library while iPhoto is running. Make sure you quit iPhoto after making any changes to allow a backup to take place.
This simple procedure will clear your Time Machine settings, including both overt and hidden exclusions. If you have a long exclusion list that can't be recreated easily, you may prefer a more complicated procedure that preserves the exclusion list. In that case, ask for instructions. Otherwise, do as follows.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.TimeMachine.plist
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu. A Finder window should open with a file selected. Copy it to the Desktop. Then move it (the original, not the copy) to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your administrator password. Reboot, recreate your settings in the Time Machine preference pane, and run a backup to test. If TM now performs as expected, delete the file you copied to the Desktop.
