Usless email log in

As anyone else got trouble trying to log in to there emails I cant for the last 6 days Bt say its at there end and there are lots who can't log in god help us if they can't fix this in 6 days even an up-date on there site would help.

    Hi,
    I am a bit ashamed to post this query but I am having a job to come to terms with the new BT set-up which was changed in respect to Yahoo.
    I have got over losing my much loved original BT/Yahoo page and it's news feeds and various other minor problems but having to log in every time I want to check my emails is driving me nuts.
    Yes I do try to keep a tab open with the email page displayed but because I am so busy on line during the day I keep accidently viewing a new webpage over the email page and clicking the return to last page just goes back to the BT email log in.
    With the original BT system, it was possible to select to log in for longer periods= the longest was two weeks. This was fine but I can not find this facility on the new set up.
    Can any one advise me if there is a way to stay logged on for a day at least or preferably longer.
    Any advice welcomed,

    Hi all,
    How can i retreive the sent email logs in Oracle APEX.

    the query returned (MAIL_TO, MAIL_FROM ,MAIL_REPLYTO, MAIL_SUBJ, MAIL_CC, MAIL_BCC, MAIL_SEND_ERROR, LAST_UPDATED_ON).
    Is there any way to save the sent email id which i can use in my application to retrieve sent emails. Actually want to use the apex mail log functionality to show sent emails, but require the id to which apex saves its sent email.

    To change the account used for the iTunes and App Store go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and tap the signed-in ID and then log out and log in with the other ID.
    Note:
    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

  • RV042 stopped emailing logs

    We have an RV042 with issues emailing logs.
    For nearly a year after I originally installed this router, I could not get the email log feature to work.  Then out of the blue, this past July, it started working all by itself.
    On August 6, it stopped working again, with a message on the System Summary page: "E-mail cannot be sent out, probably use incorrect settings."
    No router settings were changed between August 5 (when it was working) and August 6 (when it stopped working).  The router did not reboot, and no settings on our email server changed, etc.
    I've seen other forum posts regarding the email log setting not working, so this appears to be a bug?
    Can anyone shed light on this for me?  It would be great to get this feature working reliably, since we are a small business and we should have access to all router logs.

    I finally decided to try rebooting the router and lo and behold, it started spitting out email logs again.  Hopefully this does not become a regular occurance.  At least I know what to do now if it happens again and hopefully it helps someone else out with a similar problem.

    I am trying to setup logging on my router. I want to use my gmail account / gmail SMTP server to send emails.
    Has anyone got this working? Does the router support TLS for SMTP?
    Oh - and I also get the "critical error" page. I get it when I try to un-check the send logs checkbox in the remote logging management page.

    Yes, I am emailing logs from the server to SMTP port 25.  They aren't very useful however, since they really don't record anything useful. Either I have it set up wrong (but I don't think so) or the email logging is missing all most all of the significant events.  Also, the log entries really don't any detail of source/destination ip's and ports.  Here is an example...

    Does anyone know where the logs are for refused connections or VPN accesses?

    This one is in the firmware release notes :-(  At least it is a known bug.

  • RV042(G) Email LOG feature

    I was happy beacuse new feature of v4.2.3.03 firmware, the Email LOG feature.
    After testing this feature I recongnized, sending Email work in a way where RV first try to ping (ICMP ECHO) Mail Server if it is not respond, then  break sending email.
    In a real word to save resources ping response feature of mail server always disabled. Therefore RV's Email feature cannot work in a real word.
    Anybody has idea how possible to workaround this problem?

    It is an important feature to protect the privacy of members, but I agree that there are times where a private contact is much more appropriate.
    A message option is a normal feature of forum software and I am sure that Lithium contains this functionality. All that is needed is a good argument for it and Molly can throw some switch.
    Such a contact needs to be strictly one-way such that the recipient can completely ignore it. There must be mechanisms in place that it cannot be abused by spammers using some automated means. (It could only be available to registered users and the e-mail must then have the registered e-mail of the senders profile as from: and reply to: address.) The body of the e-mail must contain the IP from where the request has been made.
    I don't mind at all to be contacted in private by select other users, but in the forum posts I insist on total privacy.
    (btw: the privacy options in the profile are poorly worded. It does not seem very logical that privacy=none is "full privacy", and privacy=all is "no privacy". Very confusing.... )
    It would be nice if the privacy options were more gradual. I would not mind if my profile is fully visible to members above a certain level (e.g. veterans), while it should be hidden to newbies and unregistered users.

  • Email log in issues for over a week!

    I cannot log in to my email via the BT.com page. If I or anyone in my household tries to login to email via this page https://signin1.bt.com/login/emailloginform  then it goes nowhere, does not load and we have had this problem for over a week now - Hurry up BT and please sort this out !!!

    I'd be interested to know is you're now going via us yahoo not uk. I had the btyahoomail login page saved as bookmark and always signed in this way. My probs, enter address and password, press enter, the boxes went blank again, no error message etc, this happened for a few attempts. The new service box came up and I clicked yes, thinking it was the new bt mail thing. I then noticed my mail was going via us yahoo so went to my primary email, tried to log in,, same thing happened, this time I clicked no on the new service box, thinking I had done something wrong last time, as I don't know very much about IT. I then tried to access my yahoo account via my primary, to delete sub account and make new one but it won't let me. I click account info and get a yahoo sign in, click this and get the new bt home page, round and round we go. Spoke to tec support 2 days running for hours, they took control of my machine, nothing solved, said we'll pass it on and you'll hear in a couple of days, that was 14 jan, still waiting. So now my primary is uk yahoo and my sub is us yahoo. I'm not too bothered about the prob now, ( except for the annoying us ads) I'm sure it'll get sorted once bt get there act together and switch properly. It was the usyahoo not uk that worried me, I know very little about how these things work and was concerned my mail had been hacked.

    When i log in to email after I'm done it reverts to another user and i have to log in again although I want to stay logged in at all times

  • EOF error message in email.log

    Hello. We are having problems sending out an email through
    our CF-based application using cfmail.
    We are seeing the following record in mail.log:
    "Error","scheduler-8","11/04/08","15:10:23",,"[EOF]"
    I gather that EOF stands for end of file, but I'm not sure
    what that really means in this case. Is it a timeout? If so, why?
    In this case, there are a lot of email addresses in the bcc
    field, so that may be the culprit. But, even so, we're not sure if
    there are bad email addresses in the list that are causing the
    problem or just too many to process before a timeout, or something
    else.
    Any ideas about how to further diagnose this?

    Refinedtita, thank you for sharing your concerns about your Droid Razr. I'm sad to hear that the only thing you like about the phone is the Gorilla Glass, because this is a great device. As the other forum members have posted, your email account seems to be setup strangely. You say you have all three email accounts synced so that the same emails go to each account? Do you have the emails forwarded from one email account to the others? Do your emails also show duplicated if you login to each Hotmail or Gmail account from your Browser or a computer?
    I would suggest removing email accounts also, starting with the two Hotmail accounts since removing the Gmail account generally requires a hard reset. If you have any forwarding setup on your home computer, remove that setting.

  • Script for internet connect with dial up modem, check email & log off

    I am looking for a script to connect to the internet (with dial up) external apple modem, then check email and then log off and disconnect. I don't want any other applications opening internet connect? A would use this script file with ical and could have my email checked and open up in the morning before I leave for work....being that we have dial up the entire process of connecting to the internet and checking email is time consuming. Any help is greatly appreciated. thks

    You need some additional logic in there - as written, the script will launch mail, then immediately disconnect the internet connection.
    At the very least you need to add a delay before disconnecting to allow for Mail to download awaiting messages.
    Since you cannot predict how long a delay you'll need, a better approach would be to query Mail.app and wait until it's idle, like:
    tell application "Mail"
      launch -- doesn't need to be frontmost
      check for new mail -- get all mail
      repeat until (get background activity count) = 0
        delay 2 -- wait 2 seconds before checking again
      end repeat
    end tell
    In this way the script forces a check of new mail (don't assume that Mail.app is set to auto-check, especially for dialup users who often compose mail offline and may have automatic checking disabled), and it hangs around until Mail.app has finished downloading all the messages.

    ok..here is my problem, I have checked everything I know on my iTunes and on my iPhone and my current email address is correct, Yet when I try to update my apps, it is giving me an email that is 2 yrs old and invalid and therefore I can't log into my apps.  Where do I go to correct this issue? Please help asap Im leaving out of town and will only have my iPhone for my games etc and without the correct email addy I can't update my apps..ty

    The "email" you see when you try to update an app is actually the Apple ID you must have used to purchase the app, not your email address.

  • BT email log-in

    Hi.  I have started having a problem accessing my emails.  This started between Christmas and New Year.   I used to use BTYahoo but this seems not to be working now.  I keep being re-directed to bt.com and I have to keep on going through the log-in process.  There does not seem to be a 'keep me logged-in' button.  Previously I had it all set up in 'my favourites' and I went straight into my emails.  Can anybody help me please?  Thank you.

  • Easier email log in

    In the past I could easily switch between my email sub- accounts (which i need to do frequently) - this was because the different email addresses and passwords were remembered on the bt yahoo mail log-in page.
    Is there any way this can be achieved in the new log-in situation? If not, then the new log-in is a big step backwards, with no obvious benefits.

    What Keith_beddoe means by 'migrating to BT Mail' is that BT Retail are moving the services and associated partnership product/services away from Yahoo (ie BTYahoo), currently existing BT Retail residential broadband customers have their email services and platform provided by BTYahoo.
    Existing BT Retail residential broadband customers will have their BT primary and any sub-accounts moved from the old BTYahoo service and platform to the new BT mail platform and system provided by Critical Path in the New Year.
    Currently some of the BTYahoo services have been closed and shutdown due to BT Retail moving their services away from Yahoo, for example the BTYahoo login portal and BTYahoo portal homepage have been closed and shutdown

  • "Important Notice...." about changes to email logi...

    I'm sure someone else, as bemused as me about what's going on about this on / off change, must have posted on this forum somewhere ?
    Last month I got that message everytime I went to login to my emails, telling me the change would happen that month.....of course it didn't !
    This month sometimes I get that message and somtimes I get the old message.
    Does anyone, BT employee or customer, know what's going on ?

    ...something new just hapened.
    When I went to login I got the "Important Notice..." page, but this time when I tried to login another tab opened to a message from a female BT employee about this change happening "...at the end of this month...".
    I didn't make a note of the month (and year ?) she said this so I am none the wiser, but the comments to what she said were CLOSED so it must have been an old post from her ?
    I couldn't see anyway to continue to login from this tab so went back to the first login tab but it wouldn't log me in there either !!!!!
    Eventually I had to clear down the browser and start again. This time I got the old login page and logged in OK.
    I really hope this does not happen again !!!!  
    Otherwise BT will be hearing from me AGAIN !!
