Utilisation NI USB-6356 sur un banc moteur

Bonjour,
Je souhaite utiliser une carte NI USB-6356 sur un banc moteur pour récupérer 3 I 3 U et couple - vitesse. Je souhaite fonctionner par tâches mais je n'arrive pas à synchroniser mes 8 voies, quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider?

Export Clock on USB 6356

Hello,
I'm having trouble routing the 10Mhz reference clock from the USB 6356. It seems the right way to about this is to use the export signal vi. I am attaching what I have so far. This program simulates a signal which gets exported to one of the ao pins. This pin is then fed into all 8 analog inputs. The idea is to have the reference clock exported from this program, which will feed into a daq on a different machine. I want to try to sync these two daqs and see how well the signal acquisition is synchronized.
My question is:
Can the reference clock be exported through a PF line without having to use the create channel VI? If I try the timing VI without creating a task, the program will not compile. In the context of this program, it does not make sense to me that you would have to specify a physical input channel, since all 8 input channels are taken by the daq assistant.
Advice on how to proceed to fit my requirements would be fantastic.

You should be able to route any of your sample or reference clocks through the PFI lines, without creating a new task, or you can use an external sample clock. Check out this tutorial for lots of info on timing and synchronization, including a section specifically about signal routing.

Executer un Script python avec Teststand pour agir sur un banc de Test

Bonjour à tous,
J'aimerais savoir comment peut-on exécuter un script python avec Teststand sans utiliser le "Call Executable".
Je m'explique: j'aimerais lancer deux script python sur Teststand. Le premier serait un script qui permettrait d'initialiser un modèle sur un banc de test ainsi que l'objet virtuel dans lequel je veux travailler. Dans le deuxième script, j'agirai sur l'objet virtuel. Je voudrais donc lire une variable du modèle sur le deuxième script à l'aide de l'objet virtuel et agir dessus après à l'aide de Teststand.
Lorsque j'utilise le "Call Executable", le deuxième script qui s'exécute ne reconnait pas l'initialisation du modèle du premier script.
Je pensais donc à utiliser Labpython avec labview puis Teststand, est-ce-que cela serait possible?

Après quelque recherche j'ai trouvé un tutoriel sur Calling Scripting Languages from NI TestStand.
Vous l'avez peut être déja consulté mais je me permet de vous le renvoyer car il est assez interressant.

Sinon je pense qu'il faudrait peut être créer une variable globale ou partagé pour dialoguer entre les deux Scripts. Essayez de faire plusieurs étapes dans votre manupulation. Utilisez le premier Scripts, enregistrez les données que vous souhaitez dans une variable. Vous réutiliserez celle-ci dans le deuxième script. Mais assurez-vous bien que le premier script à stocké votre objet.

Impossible d'utiliser LabView 8.5 avec une interface USB-GPIB sur un MacBook

J'aimerai utiliser LabView 8.5 sous un macbookpro (intel leopard) mais je n'arrive pas à communiquer avec l'interface usb-gpib, j'ai plusieurs version de ces interfaces B et HS, seul la led sur la HS s'allume. Si j'ai bien compris ... les drivers pour ce genre d'interface ne sont pas compatiblent avec OSX , mais alors comment faire avec un portable ?? merci

Effectivement, vous avez raison, les interfaces USB-GPIB ne sont pas compatible avec MAC. Par contre, je peux vous proposer d'utiliser l'un des 2 articles suivant:

ZVM not recognized by Windows (USB Power Sur

This seams to be a very common problem with ZVM!!! :-(
And it's incredidle the lack of information provided by Creative, given the huge number of posts and help requests from the Creative's loyal costumers and fans, just like me...
I'm experiencing this problem with my ZVM 30GB (previously flawless). No matter which Windows PC/laptop I try to connect it gives me the same message (Power Surge) and the ZVM is never recognized by the system.
I can not upload/download musics or files to the ZVM anymore, and I even had to buy an external AC adapter to charge it, since USB charging no longer works...
What I ask from Creative (or anyone that has experienced this issue) is to clarify how this can be solved.
Do I have to send my ZVM to repair service? Which is the support service number or postal address in case of Portugal?!
My ZVM is still in the 2year warranty...

You can find the contact number for tech support in the installation CD that came with your Vision:M.
Do be aware that Creative tech support is in Ireland and the number listed has an Ireland country code.

Utilisation des fonctions trigo sur labview

je fais de l'acquisition de données sur labveiw et je suis encore débutant!! j'ai un problème avec l'utilisation des fonction trigonométrique sur labview car ca me renvoie tout et n'importe quoi. j'ai fait un simple VI pour vérifier le fonctionement de la fonction sinus et arcsinus et quand j'entre par exemple j'entre la valeur 30 ca me donne en sortie du sinus -0.98 alors qu'on sait tous que le sin 30°=1/2 et pire encore quand je reprend ces -0.98 que j'entre dans la fonction arcsin ( la réciproque) je n'obtiens plus les 30 de depart mais -1.42 :/ j'aimerais savoir savoir le truc que je ne capte pas. Car pour moi tous ces résultats sont illogique!!!

Ou a la limite, essayez de répondre lorsqu'on vous apporte des éléments de réponse. En faisant un peu de recherche, vous verrez qu'on ne peut pas utiliser DAQmx et le matériel DAQ avec SoftMotion. Il y a des vidéos et des présenattions sur le site NI qui explique quels sont les matériels compatibles avec SoftMotion. Google est ton allié.

Configuration carte usb 6008

Bonjour, Je cherche à relier un banc d'essai muni d'une carte usb 2008 sur un PC. Même avec l'installation de DAQ-mx, la carte n'est pas reconnue par mon PC. Dans MAX, je ne peux accéder au propriétés de la carte.
Compte tenu de mon niveau "informatique", j'ai épuisé toutes mes ressources !
Sur un autre PC, j'ai une installation similaire où avec les mêmes éléments installés, une autre carte 6008 est reconnue. Par contre, quand je cherche à connecter la carte qui me pose souci, elle n'est pas non plus reconnue sur ce second PC.
J'ai tenté dans MAX de modifier le n° du device mais rien n'y fait.

Lorsque je branche la carte sur mon PC, un nouveau matériel est détecté. On me demande alors de sélectionner le pilote de ce matériel. En choisissant la recherche automatique du pilote, l'installation échoue sur un USB-6xxx Firmware Loader qui n'est pas trouvé.
Je dispose sur ce PC de la version 8.3 de DAQ-mx.
En refaisant les mêmes manipulations sur un autre PC, l'installation se déroule convenablement toujours avec la même version de DAQ-mx.
Je ne suis donc a priori pas concerné par le problème avec DAQ-mx d'autant plus que l'installation se déroule convenablement sur un autre PC...

Emulation d'un port com via un port USB en LabView

Bonjour,
Dans le cadre d'un projet, un FPGA (vertex V6) m'envoie des trames de données à interpréter dans LabView. Le soucis qui se pose est le suivant, voulant traiter les données dans LabView, comment est-ce que je peux paramétrer le NI-VISA pour recevoir les trames ?
Le soucis réside dans le fait que mon matériel FPGA n'a pas d'identifiant propre et que je n'arrive pas à le configurer proprement . Doit-je passer par un adaptateur USB-Série ou bien existe-t'il une solution purement logicielle ?

Le driver VISA propose un jeu de fonctions haut niveau qui permettent d'appeler des fonctions bas niveaux. Si vous utilisez un port USB en partant de votre PC, vous devrez avoir également un port USB disponible sur votre matériel contenant le FPGA et permettant de récupérer ses valeurs. Sinon, un adaptateur Série-USB peut être envisagé s'il n'y a qu'un port série disponible sur votre matériel.
Vous pouvez également essayer un adaptateur USB-Série sur votre PC (si ce dernier ne dispose pas de port série directement intégré) qui vous permettra d'avoir des ports série directement disponibles depuis votre programme sous LabVIEW.
Exemple d'adaptateurs existants : NI USB-232, NI USB-232/2, NI USB-232/4

A few apps, including iMovie, require a Firewire DV signal from any external webcam. No external USB cam works with such apps.
If you need to use your external webcam with iMovie (or other apps that demand Firewire input), use a Firewire webcam or your compatible DV camcorder rather than a USB cam.
A 10.4.10-equipped Mac can use UVC (the latest USB specification) webcams for all other apps. If you buy USB, be sure to get a camera that supports the UVC standard. Older, non-UVC USB cams might work if appropriate driver software is available, but the UVC cams are supported by the latest Mac OS without additional software. See the system requirements for the application software you want to use for exact camera and, if applicable, additional software requirements.

USB key help

Hey, I just bought a new HP 4GB usb key because I lost my old one. Anyways, the problem is that my new usb key is not recognizing on my macbook. It works fine on my desktop windows computer though. Do I need to reformat my usb key on my macbook and if so how? I always need to send data between my macbook and my desktop computer for work and school. So if someone can help clear this up for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I had the exact same problem, for me it was because Mac and PC Formats of hard drives they can read and write are different, usually new flash drives come formatted to NTFC, which is windows standard, Mac should be able to read this (so you should see it come up) but it will not be able to write to this. The other popular format is FAT 32, Mac should have no problem reading or writing to this.
But best thing for now is to format the whole USB, Make sure theres nothing on it you dont want deleted.
Go to your spotlight (CMD + Spacebar) type disk utility. Check if the drive shows up here, if so click on it and hit the erase tab. Try formatting there and let us know what happens.......

Sync multiple x series USB devices

I am currently working with a system of 4 USB X series (NI USB-6356). I am using all 32 analog input channels for data acquisition. I need the data acquistion to be synchronized. I have a start trigger for my master DAQ, unfortunately it cannot be physically wired to all 4 of my devices (due to low supply current). Thus, I am looking for a software solution. I am hpoing there is a way to write the LabView programsuch that when master device receives the trigger, all devices start their read task. The attached picture is my program so far, I have about 300us delay.
Does anyone know if I can change the program to get the acquisition more synchronized?

Here's a white paper with a good example on how to do Multi Device Sync:

To be synchronized, two devices must start at the same time and share a timebase. This is why you route the start trigger and the sample clock from the master to the slave. In your case, you can daisy chain the start triggers of each device. For example. Device 1 starts on its own. Device 2 reads device 1's start trigger, starts, then sends its own start trigger to device 3, and so on...
However, you will not be able to do the same with the sample clock. I'm curious, have you tried to export one sample clock to 3 other devices and experienced errors?

Je suis très déçu aussi pour ma première utilisation de matériel Apple. J'ai acheté un Macbook Pro 15" en mars 2012 et pour pouvoir utiliser la plupart des sites professionnel avec lesquels je communique j'ai installé Parallels destop. Je travaillais avant avec Sony Vaio. Depuis que j'utilise ce Mac je suis térrifié par la lenteur du systéme. Une vrai catastrophe. Aprés plusieurs mois un ami m'explique que c'est parceque j'ai Parallels intallé.
Donc à savoir si on a besoin de pc pour travailler le Mac n'est pas une solution.
Donc je cherche aujourd'hui un moyen de revendre mon MacBook Pro pour acheter un nouveau pc.
Ceci dit j'utilise l'Ipad et l'Iphone avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Je viens d'installer le logiciel de "USB-1208LS" sur mon ordinateur mais j'ai envie et j'airéussi à voir des signaux mais seulement j'ai envie de communiquer entre mon logiciel et labview en gros j'ai envie de récupérer ses données sur labview je ne sais pas comment procédé mais je sais quand même qu il est compatible avec labview. Envoyer un signal arbitraite sur un DAQ

Bonjour,
Etant nouveau comme utilisateur de Labview, j'aurai souhaité un peu d'aide pour réaliser un montage.
Je chercher à configurer un NI USB-6008 sur Labview 2010.
J'ai pour l'instant créer mon signal arbitraire et configurer mon assistant DAQ, mais je n'arrive pas à les relier sans erreur "200524".
"Nombre de voies dans la tâche: 1"
"Nombre de voies dans les données: 6001"
Le problème c'est que je ne trouve pas la configuration pour modifier le nombre tâche possible. Et si possible je voudrais envoyer les données dans une seul sortie analogique.
