Utilization error

Hi
While running J2IUN, Cess is selected and then 'select duty' tab is clicked . Then a dump error is coming.
Error analysis
    The program has been interrupted and cannot resume.
    Program "J_1IRUTZN" attempted to display fields on screen 9000.
    An error occurred during the conversion of this data.
Above is the error analysis shown in error.
Pls help me in solving out.Its urgent.

Hi Shar,
It is quite hard to provide any meaningful help for such issues without actually seeing it. The best way to resolve is, run TRACE & also a debugger, as this will give you a clear picture as to what is causing then error. Once it is identified, you can then work with your ABAPer to resolve the issue.
The above is just a suggestion.

Monthly utilization error in J2iun

Dear SAP Guru's
Please help me I am unable to do the monthly utilization by J2iun for local excise invoice.
1) The series is maintained for no immediate utilization( check is un ticked) for immediate utilization for local excise.
2) for Export excise invoice it is working correctly as immediate utilization check is enabled.
3) For local excise utilization even though the settings are there for monthly or fortnightly utilization even then it is utilizing immediately in J1iin
Please help to resolve this.

Just a brief description:
J2IUN for the month of March(FY-2009). following points are checked in my system.
1. PLA account Balances are posted using T.code J1IH through TR6 Challan for March Month(FY-2009).
2. PLA Balances Extracted in J2I5 and print in J2I6(FY-2009).
3. PLA Balances are updated in Table j_1ipart2 automatically when we do 1 and 2 points.
These above things has been done, but PLA account Balances (Even PLA accounts description) is not displaying in Utilization.
Note: Up to Feb Month Utilization done properly even PLA accounts also displaying so we utilized.

Character Styles in the Real World

My real-world use of Character styles is a combination usage
of Paragraph and Character styles for Notes: I have a Paragraph
style called Note, which simply adds margins of .15in Left, 10pt
Top, and 8pt Bottom. Within this paragraph style, multiple labels
announce the type of Note with the use of Character styles
NoteLabel (Navy), RecommendLabel (Teal), CAUTIONLabel (Purple), and
WARNINGLabel (Red).
This way, you can change the color of one or more labels
without worrying about the paragraph settings (or vice versa).
Also, when placing a Note inside a table cell (which might
have limited horizontal space, especially with three or four
columns), we still use the "Label" character styles but
without the Notes paragraph style. This still sets off the
text visually, without adding unnecessary extra vertical space.

I can tell you about two sites.
1. A system which allocates and dispatches crews, trucks, backpack hoses, spare socks, etc to bushfires (wildfires to you). It operates between two Government departments here in Australia. Each of those despatchable items is a remote object and there have been up to 50,000 active in the system at a time during the hot summer months. This is a large and life-critical system.
2. A monitoring system for cable TV channels. A piece of hardware produces a data stream representing things like channel utilization, error rates, delay, etc and this is multiplexed via RMI to a large number of operator consoles. Again this is a major and business-critical system.
And of course every J2EE system in existence uses RMI internally, albeit almost entirely RMI/IIOP.

External optical drive won't play movie DVD

The SuperDrive on my very late 2009 MacBook (OS 10.5.8, Leopard) died, and I got a well-rated CD/DVD player/writer, Samsung SE-218BB) instead. It is meant to be compatible with my Mac. It works with things like Disk Warrior, but recently, I tried to play a video disk and got the message "Utilization error. A valid DVD player could not be found (-70012)." I've read a lot of other messages about this same error and have done what was recommended (throwing out the appropriate plist file from DVD player, for example). The messages were for other Mac models and/or versions of OS X, so maybe there is some advice that is specific to my Mac that would pertain? By the way, the DVD does show up in the Finder in a generic kind of way (that is, I think it is the kind/manufacturer of the disk,but it certainly isn't the name of what is on it), and when I click on that, it opens a bunch of separate files that don't seem to have much to do with watching the movie.
I also tried one of the tips given in the DVD Player manual (dragging the file to the DVD Player icon. All that did was make the DVD disappear. I had to restart,, with the mouse "button" (really not a button) on the Mac pressed, which released the DVD from the external drive.
I don't think the problem's with the hardware, since I can play Disk Warrior in it (that opens automatically after I insert the DVD. So what's with the movies? I've checked Software Update, and my software (DVD Player 7.7) is up to date for my Mac and OS version. I don't even know whether I should be using DVD Player for movies. (I haven't tried a music DVD, but I suspect that should open in some other app.) I don't remember playing movies on my computer when the internal SuperDrive was still working, so I can't make that comparison.
I hope you can help me. I'd be very sorry if I had to give up on playing the DVDs I now have. My VHS/DVD player-recorder used to be just fine, but my cable company set it back up wrong when they installed a new cable box, and now they want $50 even to look at it, so for now (until I find some company, say, the manufacturer of the player, that can tell me how to set it back up) the only way I can play and burn movies is with my computer.

I have discovered, no thanks to Samsung techs, what the problem is, and it might be revealing for others, as well. It seems that DVD Player, which is the app Apple provides in OS x for (naturally) playing videos, doesn't work with external drives if the computer has an internal drive – even when, as in my case, the internal drive is dead.
I have learned, however, of the existence of a couple of alternative, free applications that run video and audio disks with external optical drives, and one of them, at least (VLC), seems to be widely acclaimed. Does anyone know whether bypassing DVD Player could be a bad idea? There were some gripes from one or two reviewers about awkwardness with playing audio DVDs with iTunes, but I'm not sure what they meant when they said that you have to click on individual items in a selection. Would that mean, for example, having to click on each movement of a Mozart trio? That I couldn't play an entire album's contents of another kind of music without clicking on each song?
Getting the internal optical drive replaced would be prohibitive, even if the parts could be obtained, so I guess I'm stuck trying to deal with the external drive I have and finding the best replacement for DVD Player that I can find. The interesting thing is that the drive works beautifully with a MacBook Air I tried it with, so I guess that is because the Air doesn't have an internal drive?
Wouldn't you think that Samsung techs would know all this? The one I spoke to told me to make sure that my system preference for CDs and DVDs was set to open automatically with DVD Player and sent me all kinds of FAQs, plus a way to get an RMA number for a return. Not a word about difficulties with Macs having an existing internal drive. And all after spending a very long time talking with me about what was going on, what the error message was, and so on. I guess the message hasn't gotten to them.
I hope this information will be helpful to someone.

Don't think there is a one size fits all
Trunks and other connection between network devices

These interface should be absolutely clean, and you beter check Transmit load and Receive Load rather then Utilization
Userports
Bandwidth Utilization 60% on full duplex 40% on half

I would say it is pointless to poll and monitor all ports for bandwith utilisation all the time.
Using rmon or something else to set (a couple of) thresholds and monitor that is a much better idea
Not sure about a tool that could used for that however.

RMI Use in the real world

I present an RMI module in the Java course I teach. I know enough about RMI to be able to talk about it, and write a simple classroom example, but I have never done RMI in the real world. Can anyone offer an example of what kind of applications are being developed that use RMI?

Radio Utilization and FCS Errors

Here is an output from our Aruba Airwave server. I've been trying to reduce the constant radio utilization on some of our APs. I succesfully did it by disabling the 1 and 2Mb data rates on the APs. However, for some reason the FCS errors have gone up on all APs. Any ideas why? The graph on the left shows a drop in interference, so I would think the FCS errors would decrease.

On a good note, it looks like the drop in radio utilization translated to a significant throughput increase. On some of our APs, we are seeing a 100% increase in throughput speeds. This was using a 2.4Ghz N client with 20MHz channels connecting to an 1140 AP. I'm going to do a site-survey later on some of our 3500 APs.
I also temporarily disabled the 5.5 and 11 Mb speeds and saw another slight (20-30%) jump in throughput, but we aren't ready to kick 802.11b clients off the network.

Network Utilization script throws error after re-executing

Thank you! My solution was different. I had turned off services in MSCONFIG and did not turn them back on. After I turned services back on, Acrobat started working again without the nag error and impedance to use the program. I appreciate your input! Adobe customer service/tech support was dismally disappointing.

Error in FI Posting for J2IUN - Utilization

I am doing J2IUN (CENVAT Utilization)
I gave all the input and executed. It went in and i selected amount which needs to be paid.
Then i simulated it and its perfect. When i clicked on SAVE, it gave error:

There is no explanation for this error. I checked OB52, periods are open.

Please check first the current open period for your company code in transaction MMRV.
And then open the next period sequentially in transaction MMPV, untill you reach period 10 (july in your case) is not opened.

J2IUN input parameter's are wrong. Check mentioned customization for excise group and Plant settings.
SPRO > Logistics General > Tax on goods movements > India > Basic settings > Maintain excise group where you can able to check plant vs excise group assignment.

It seems that document splitting is active in your installation. You need to either assign a fixed profit center for the GL accounts through 3KEH or use a suitable substitution rule to assign a profit center in the transaction. One way is:
Prerequiste
T Code = J2IUN and Plant = XXXX
Subsitute
Profit Center with a constant value.
