Utterly and totally LOST and CONFUSED getting IE10 in Server 2012 x64 to work

I am at my wits end, I believe I posted in here before but am still having tons of problems with IE10 and Server 2012 x64. Can someone shed some light on ANY of the following:
1)Is IE10 embedded with flash player by default or not? If so what version?
2)If IE10 is embedded with flash player how do I get it to consistently work and show the flash player test movie from Adobe's site instead of a gray box (following steps on site does NOTHING to fix issue)?
2b) I have had some success simply changing the following security settings for the Internet Zone in Security:
Settings>Internet Options>Security>Internet Zone, click custom level> Active X Controls and Plugins> Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting: enable
Settings>Internet Options>Security>Internet Zone, click custom level> Scripting> Active Scripting: enable
on some machines the above works and I see a flash movie, other machines not.
3)What is the shockwave flash object in my add-ons for IE? Some machines have this and some don't. Was it installed by default or installed manually? I cannot install this on non working machines where it is missing as the install page from adobe (get.adobe.com/flashplayer) says there is nothing to install since IE 10 should have flash player embeded by default. (it says flash player is integrated with Windows Explorer in Windows8. You do not need to install Flash Player and the bottom of IE says an add-on for this website failed to run).
This is a NIGHTMARE process that doesn't work and is pathetic. Can someone please steer me in the direction to get this simple POS to work? Something that should work by default doesn't, and then should take no more than 10 minutes is wasting hours of my time.

The RoboHelp 10 API should work for WebHelp created with RoboHelp 9. Since the RH10 API will now support Multiscreen HTML5 (introduced with RoboHelp 10), I imagine it will work with VS 2012. But I’ve not tried that. You can try the RH10 API, but Adobe won’t support it

New to mac, iphoto and totally lost

Just got two macs, one ibook and one imac.
transition from windows is not as easy as I thought. We have different users in the imac. Imported some pics in my user and some in my wife's. Set to share, but the pictures do not show in the source folder. Try everything: totally lost. When I go to the user's folder, there is a little -, and tells me i have no privilege to open the folder. How do we share the pics? is there an easy way?

-both users must be logged in and have iPhoto running
-Remember that you can only view the other library. You can't edit the photos or play the saved slideshows or view the made books or burn them to CD or DVD. The books and slideshows will show up as an album. You can play that album as an "on the fly" slideshow. You can drag images from the sharing library to your library in the source column to import them to your library. You can then edit, add to albums, books, slideshow, etc.

SHARING ONE IPHOTO LIBRARY BETWEEN USERS ON SAME MACHINE
You can try one of these three methods:
1- Use iPhoto Library Manager-the paid version
The documentation page will give instructions on how it is done.
2- Sharing one iPhoto library between several users on one machine
3- Share an iPhoto Library in tiger Using ACL's
4- I have also read about ShareAlike
There is no other info on the site about how it works.
I strongly urge anyone wanting to try any of the methods for sharing one iPhoto Library folder among more than one user to backup all iPhoto Library folders before attemptin anything.

Could you help me please with my problem: what licenses (per core or Server + CAL) should I take for SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition for the following environment:
SQl Server will be installed on VM with 1 core.
Physical processor is Intel Xeon CPU E7-4830, 2.13 GHz, 2131 Mhz.
Few people will have an access to the VM but SQL server is used for a web-application for about 200 users from Active Directory.

Lost window, using published application on server 2012, when access it via web remote.

We use an edi software installed on a Server 2012.
When we use this software accessing the server by Remote Desktop, everything works normal.
When we use the same software accessing the server by web access, (...softname/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx) where was published this soft application, we lost some windows after different actions.
For example if I do a modification for a value in one specific window, after I click save, that window disappear but can appear again only if I click again anywhere on my desktop.
In other words that window lost the focus and probably is still open under another window. Clicking again anywhere, will reactivate it and that window appear again.
Can you please help me to find a solution to this problem?

Getting to know Server 2012 R2 Issue

Trying to work in the virtual lab for Getting to know Windows Server 2012 R2, and I was stumped within 5 minutes. Server3 in that lab can ping every other machine, but no machines could ping Server3 and thus everything involving Server3 in the lab was
invalidated. Can someone else reproduce?

Totally lost and confused

I have no clue what I am doing here and I am hoping that someone can explain to me what I did wrong.
I have an iPad, AppleTV and iMac. I purchased two seasons of a tv show, one through my iPad and one through AppleTV. I have home share turned "on" for all three of these. When I purchased one season on my ipad I was able to watch it on appleTV, however the second season I purchased I haven't been able to.
What am I doing wrong? I have spent the better part of the morning trying to figure it out and I have no idea. I just want to have the flexibility of being able to watch these shows on my AppleTV or my iPad. I am able to do that right? Or where I purchase it from is where I can watch it from?
I can't add the shows to my ipad through iTunes for some reason. If I sync the shows to my ipad it says that I will lose the previous library ... what does that mean and if I have no shows on there now, does it matter?
I am getting so frustrated with this ...

Upgraded to 7.2 and totally lost audio output

I wonder if anyone can help.
I have upgraded from 7.1 to 7.2 logic pro. now when i try to open songs i've been working on, i get no audio output at alll, just some nasty clicks and pops.
all tracks look like they're playing and show bouncing meters, but the master output is showing no audio output at all.
this only seems to happen on songs i had started in 7.1 because if i just load up logic and start a new song there's no problem.
i thought an upgrade was supposed to iron out problems not create them!
anyone had the same problem or got any ideas i would appreciate hearing from you.
my system:
G5 dual 1.8 Gig
mac OS 10.4.6
logic pro 7.2

i've tried disconnecting the X-station and running logic on built in audio but exactly the same happens.
after more messing, i've found that there are a whole load of songs which won't play audio, these are all in one folder and are an album project.
other songs in other foldres seem to play OK.
i haven't made any changes to the folder and am totally confused as to what is happening.
when i open these songs and press play, i get a horrible click or pop but then no audio. however when i press stop i get the reverb tail of an audio track.
i thought i'd finished the album which is why i thought it was safe to install the 7.2 upgrade, however now the artist wants a few changes and i can't do anything at the moment.

New and totally lost - I have TRIPLICATED my library!

At Christmas last year we installed Itunes on the pc because we got a nano. We loaded select music on it. Now, we have decided to stop using media player totally and use only Itunes. This is pretty much used as our home stereo and we have it on all the time. I can't figure out what to do. I thought I "viewed" the duplicates and got rid of them - but there seems to be more. Some have "!" beside them and I delete those, sometimes I get the "empty to recycle bin?" message and sometimes I dont. Can anyone tell me what to do? Should I uninstall Itunes and start again? or should I? Im VERY frustrated and my boyfriend is ready to throw Itunes and Ipods out the window......Thanks

I suggest you build a fresh new blank library.
Close iTunes
Now restart it, and hold down the SHIFT key.
You'll get asked to find or create a new library - choose "create new library".
Name it something sensible that you'll easily remember. The default is "iTunes 1", which might work for you.
Drag all your music back into iTunes for a fresh new ibrary, with no duplicates.

edit - and since you have created a new library, when you connect your iPod it will tell you your iPod is synced to another library. That is normal. Erase & sync the ipod to your new library.

Downloaded latest verzion of thunderbird, and thr required latest version of lightning and totally lost my calendar. It disappeared and I can't find it.

Today I received a message that I should download the latest version of Thunderbird. I did. Then I got a message that my version of lightning was incompatible and needed to be updated. I tried to download the latest version of lightning and a blank email appeared with an attachment that ended with .xpi. My calendar with several medical appointments and many important dates for 6 months has totally disappeared. I have tried to locate it in my backup hard drive without success. How do I recover it? I have tried to upload the file name as it appeared but the upload icon just keeps whirring around. the attached file name is "lightning-3.3.1-tb+sm-windows-1.xpi". I have also tried the windows Recovery option for several dates but can't recover my calendar. HELP.

You have a mismatched version of Thunderbird and Lightning. Since you do not say what version of Thunderbird you are running the best I can offer is go to this link and get the correct version of Lightning.

Hold power and home button togather for 10 sec and after you will see restore option on your itunes
hit restore.
