UV Properties Issue

Hey,
I was having an issue with my UV maps, so I went to Photoshop and decided to change it over there. My problems started here.
I edited the UV properties and started doing the texture job on this little model:
After finishing the very first part above, I decided to try it out on other applications (C4D or Unity).
So, I exported it as .DAE and .OBJ just in case.
For my surprise, when I exported the files, the UV mapping did not change on the exported object, making the textures go completely wrong on other applications, except on Photoshop it self.
How can I fix that and export the new UV Mapping with the file?
Using Photoshop CC 2014.

PS does not change the actual UV parametrization on the meshes, this is merely an internal thing. Simply the wrong tool for this work.

OC4J "classpath+properties" issue

Hi,
Is any fix available for the OC4J classpath+properties issue?
It can't find *.properties files even if it is in the classpath.
It's not convenient to jar properties files and edit the manifest.mf file in orion.jar every time you want to add new file

The classpath for the Oc4j is entirely different than what is normal classpath. If you start your oc4j with -jar option the system classpath will never get effected. If you want your properties files to be recognized keep under the possible classpaths. Oc4j takes every thing from lib directory so you can keep there.
If you have an application you can add <library path=""/> tags to your application.xml and keep the properties files in that directory.
If you have webapplication usually web-inf\lib added in classpath.

Convergence 2 Timezone in calendar properties issue

Hi. I'm using Convergence 2 with patch 1 so when i set default timezone in options tab on calendar genteral to Asia Bangkok and check calendar properties in Calendar tab. It's turn into America Denver but in Directory server user profile icsTimezone and sunUCTimeZone has set to Asia/Bangkok. I'm not sure is it a bug or not. Anybody got this issue? I'm need help. thanks

Sorry it isn't a software bug. Course of when calendar 6.3 create new user's calendar DB it will set timezone in calendar DB by timezone config in ics.conf file for the first time. After i edited ics.conf to change timezone parameter then delete user's calendar DB. It' fine now after new create.

Skype Properties "Issue"

In Skype Properties - Security - Group or User Names there are the following

Should the User "Account Unknown" be there as I do not see it on my laptop or old Desktop. Is this a problem or is it maybe because I have a newer version on my new Desktop. Sorry I haven't given you a snapshot. Would welcome an answer Thanks

Adobe Print Properties Issue

I am having an issue with the print properties being extremely delayed when hitting the print icon on Adobe Reader XI. I reverted to Adobe X to see if that would fix the issue, but it did not. I am running adobe reader XI on several (32) different Terminal servers that are on a Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system. I also have a server running Adobe Pro that is used by the people that have been assigned licensing for it. Both are displaying the same issue. Sometimes the print properties can take as long as 4 minutes to appear after hitting the printer icon. Once the print property is open, the file prints normally. The printers are all networked and running on a print server running the same OS as the terminal servers. I have unmapped the the printers and remapped them as well while troubleshooting.

Syndication Map properties Issues!!!!!!!!!

I am having some issue while doing settings for "SYNDICATING ALL RECORDS TO ONE XML FILE".
I had followed instruction as per SYndication guide pg 140,where it says:-
To syndicate all records to a single XML file
1. On the Map Properties tab, click in the Value cell of the XML File
Output property and select Single File (All Records) from the drop-down
list.
2. Click in the Value cell of the Repeating Record Node property and
select the repeating XML element which contains the record structure
But the issue is when i do the above still field "Repeatable record Name/Node" is greyed out and doesnot allow me to select IDOC segment.
So is this the issue with XML schema file OR is there something i am doing wrong?
Please let me know if anyone has got these issues..

Issue is, we had a XSD to which we added/extended some more fields..As a result root node of XSD was changed and the whole map now needs to be redone.
Old XSD was/is still allowing us to select Segment in Reapaetable node in Map Properties, but new XSD doesnot allow .
How is this possible that for same MDM version system allows to choose Repeatable node segment selection(in Map Properties tab) for one XSd and stops doing it for other?
Also if we dont select the repeatble node how will you map qualified tables?

Properties Issue

HI all
We have defined some properties. Some of them are of type String and rest of Date. We have developed custom upload webdynpro application which attaches these properties to documents.When we upload the document all the properties are getting saved under Miscllaneous tab. Through code we are also enabling the versioning for the document.
Previously we were using KM SPS9 till that time there was no problem at all.
But when we upgraded to KM SPS11, from that time we are facing following strange issue.
When we see the properties of versions only properties of type String are shown and properties of type Date are missing.Please suggest the solution.

The properties are present under Miscellaneous Tab. But these properties are not shown with any version not even version1.But when we click on save button under Miscellaneous tab then new version gets created with these properties.
Note that the problem is with DATE type properties only.

Audio Properties issues in CS5.5

I'm trying to add audio to my Flash project by importing a .mp3 file to my library, selecting a frame, selecting the .mp3 file under properties, and putting Stream as the Sync setting. However, The audio won't play, and the layer in my timeline won't change into a waveform display. I'm trying to follow the instructions for adding sound shown in this video: Ep 10: Lip Sync | Happy Harry's HuHa Two How Tos - YouTube.

I should also mention that audio in my timeline will play with the Event or Start settings, but not Stream. However, I need to be able to pause and play my sound at the same time as my animation, which I'm assuming (maybe incorrectly) the Stream setting will allow me to do.

Java.util.Properties issue

I have an Integer array that i want to store using properties.
At the moment i have something like this
for(int i = 0; i < guitarNo.length; i++)     {

}But it doesn't store any of the ids it simpily stores as 1

Logging Properties issue

sorry for the cross posting, i made a mistake in posting in the wrong forum chapter!!
I have a small app that generates logs using jdk 1.4.2 logging api.
I have the configurations loaded from my logging.properties file and no other configurations take place inside the code.
The output that i get looks something like this
Jan 11, 2002 10:05:21 AM MyClass myMethod
SEVERE: my severe message
How can i change the format of this printed log statement, so that I can see only the relevant portion of the log my severe message
from changing some formatting only from the properties file. I cannot add any additional code or modify the existing logging infrastructure from my application. I have to change that setting using only the properties file.

SECOND_LOGGER.level = ALLIt seems like you're not thoroughly reading the spec on this stuff.
I don't think ".Handler" is even a valid property on a logger.
Loggers aren't typically initialized with a complex configuration out of a configuration file...unless you write your own custom format. For instance, FileHandler is a class, so when you define java.util.logging.FileHandler.pattern in the config file, you're defining it for every default instance of FileHandler...so naturally both your loggers that use FileHandlers will write to the same file.
I've never done this before, but here's what I came up with after reading the spec:
1) define 1 subclass of FileHandler for each file you want to write to... let's call them FileHandlerA and FileHandlerB. All they have to do is extend FileHandler, nothing else.
2) define the patterns for each subclass in the config file. You can also define any other properties you want for each handler, such as .level, .limit, .count, etc.
mypackage.myhandlers.FileHandlerA.pattern = LogFile-A.log
mypackage.myhandlers.FileHandlerB.pattern = LogFile-B.log
// ... more config here
3) define the loggers in the config file and specify the handlers to use on each:
FIRST_LOGGER.handlers = mypackage.myhandlers.FileHandlerA
SECOND_LOGGER.handlers = mypackage.myhandlers.FileHandlerB
4) create your Loggers in your code:
Logger firstLog = Logger.getLogger("FIRST_LOGGER");
Logger secondLog = Logger.getLogger("SECOND_LOGGER");

Driver properties issue

Driver issue with HP Laserjet 3015 both PS and PCL5 - I cannot get edits to Devices tab to stick - I try to make unavailable but they won't stay. It will keep Legal if I change to it or other choices, but not unavailable. Anyone seen this before?

The tray assignments at the top of the image cannot be changed to unavailable - actually, they can be changed - they just will not stay not available after apply/ok.

6.0 how can I specify the Path for the start menu (Short cuts for launching)
I can recall being able to do this prior to SP1 being bundled. Below is a copy
of the installer.properties file Example of cmd string C:\Weblogic600sp1_win.exe
-f installer.properties. Exe and properties file both reside in same directory
when being launched. I noticed when installing a second instance using a silent
properties it does not provide a second entry labeled as
(2) in the start menu like I does when installing not using the properties file
for a silent install.

BEAHOME=c:\\bea

I don't quite understand the problem here. Do you mean this:
1. you finished silent install
2. you run installntservice.cmd to install the service
3. you started the service from control panel
4. you tried to access http://localhost:7001 and it failed.

Slide Properties Issue

HI,
I'm trying to get this slide to return to a previous slide (with branching options) when the slide completes. But when I click "Jump to Slide" for the Exit action, then select the dropdown to chose the slide to jump to, the dropdown box is empty. (see attached screenshot)

You never use workspaces? You would be glad with CP8 (I do not). Open the dropdown menu under Classic.
Since you already restarted CP, this is indeed worrying. You have to run CP always as administrator. Did you try to refresh the Preferences? Look in the 'utils' subfolder in the installation folder of Captivate, there are files to run to do the cleaning. Captivate has to be closed. Also, check the cache, how big is it already?

Report Builder - Last page issue and Report Footer issue

I am using ColdFusion 9 Report Builder, am new to this product and encountering 2 issues.
Issue 1 - I have a field that I would like to print on the last page of my report. How can I determine the last page? I initially tried using a calculated field set to the 'highest' calc.Page_Number. Then I could compare the current page to the last page in the 'Print When' property. But calc.Page_Number can not be used in a definition of a calculated field.
Issue 2 - Depending on the amount of report detail, sometimes my report footer prints alone, without a page header and page footer. The report includes this page in the total number of pages. For example, if it is a 2 page report, the page header on page 1 will display Page 1 of 2. Then the only data on Page 2 is the Report Footer. No page header or page footer prints.
Any assistance on these issues would be most appreciated. To date, using the Report Builder has not been easy.

To issue 1: The report contains a report band called report footer. thsi is always at the last page. The report footer band initially is collapsed, so you have to expand it by dragging the last band divider.
To issue 2: I guess this is a page break calculating error when detail data reaches really near the page footer area.
Try some experiments with different setting of the following properties/issues:
- in elements, e.g. calculating fields in the bands between report detail and page footer: In Properties / Print Control / Printing Options: Activate the option "Remove line when blank". This will remove the whole report band area if this field is blank. May save some empty space.
- try to remove unused empty space between detail rows.
- try to resize and reposition all detail fields so that they snap to the grid.
