Navigation Node Configuration view which allows you to customise the look of UWL main page where
You can add tabs to or remove them from the view or, by selecting checkboxes in the table, you can add entries to or remove them from the dropdown list
does not show any entries.
pls. help.

Just check ur UWL xml and see which view's name is present Navigation part of xml.
Please also tell me from where we can access this Navigation Config View.
I would like to see for my server.

Some photos don't appear in the blog's main page

All the entries in my blog include a photo and almost always a small version of the picture appears in the blog's main page. Sometimes the small picture does not appear, although it shows up in the individual entry containing the photo. You can see what I mean in the Hacienda Magueyes entry in http://web.mac.com/jamarimutt/Blog/index/index.html
Any suggestions to have the small photos consistently appear in the main page? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Josemari ~ One possible explanation is that instead of dragging that Hacienda Magueyes image over the Placeholder image to replace it, you instead removed the Placeholder image and simply dragged the image onto the page — in which case it won't appear in your blog's main page.

How to set the dimension of main page windows for std dot matrix printer

In the Sap script how i will define the dimensions of main page window .
The printer is in US . How i can sets the page dimensions .

Change SEQUENCE = "213" to SEQUENCE = "218" in the Task ID Field component. That will solve the issue.

Goods are not visible on the Web Shop main page (RUMP UP)

Help please anybody :)
There was the problem with the goods in Web Shop.
Goods are not visible on the page Web Shop.
Below you can see actions performed by us and Prerequisites:
1. Repository was unachieved from Standard archive - WEC20_MDMCATALOG_CONS
2. Taxonomy, Hierarchy and Lookup table data were transferred from CRM via MDMGX
3. Manually created root node in Product Catalogs table in MDM
4. Put technical code (ID) of created node to Product Catalog module in WCEM configuration - field Catalog ID.
5. Fill another necessary fields in Product Catalog module in WCEM.
6. Manually add test record in MDM and linked to node in Product Catalog table, elements from Main Taxonomy and other required fields.
7. In preview mode of WCEM configuration not possible see any records from MDM (but product catalog elements showed correctly)

Leading zeroes it's no my case, because the products (materials) replicated from CRM to MDM.
Replication from CRM to MDM via MDMGX and Initial Load R3AC1 is successfull.
But on the WebChannel web shop page this products are not visible.
I have suggested that the problem in authirizations of technical user, which uses RFC Destinations from SAP NW AS Java (Web Channel) to MDM.
According Security Guide for SAP Web Channel 2.0 (paragr. 8.3.2 see please screenshot), user of WEC_MDM_DEFAULT destination must assign the role WEBCHANNEL_CATALOG_DISPLAY_ROLE.
But this role does not exist in the system (SAP MDM, SAP NW).
Please give me advice about this.

Change the look of Tab Pages

Hi,
Is there any way to change the look (but not the
mechanism) of Tab Pages in Forms?
If I wanted my own (say) "rounded" tab pages, is there
any easy way to achieve this?
Can we get our hands on the Java object that is used
to create a tab page - if so, it could be altered
and compiled and linked in as a Java Bean, but how to make
"normal" text boxes be subordinate to a Java Bean... ?

unfortunate we don't support PJCs on tab canvases because this is what you would need for the desired change. The other option - as you said - is to create a tab page and add Forms components to it: This requires to spider the Forms Applet at runtime, which I tried to do a while back, but which also truned out to be problematic. So as it seems, adding your own tab canvas is not possible.

Why does Verizon find the need to change the look of web pages and divert you to other pages?

Why is it that verizon can't leave well enough alone! It seems everytime I log in I can't, because verizon wants me to go to another page or change my info, I just want my email, I don't want to learn about new products and new offers, If there is a time I feel te need, I will come looking, don't shove it down my throat! Another big problem is when they force you to change something before they will let you accesss your email, reminds me of a trick the Russians pull! (If you know what I mean!) If I wanted my page to look like microsofts page ,I would have their service. If you feel the need to change so often, maybe you are in the wrong business!

It can be annoying, but I think their motivation is good. They are trying to make things better for their customers and I think they have, even though sometimes it is annoying. I think it would be nice if they would advise us when the pages are going to be down for maintenance, In the mean time, you could have another E mail account so you can always get access to your E mail.

Share Point redirects my "sites" link on the O365 Portal main page - help!

Can anyone tell me how to fix an inadvertent redirect?
When I login to my O365 Portal, I am at my main page with the various tiles for Calendar, Tasks, Admin, Sites, OneDrive, etc. When I click on the "sites" tile, Share Point redirects to my "OneDrive for Business" page.
How do I get it back to the "out of the box" default, so that when I click on the "sites" tile, I end up at my Team Site page?

Per my knowledge, when we click the Sites tile, it will redirect us to the page with the sites that we are following
https://xxxxx/personal/xxxx/Social/Sites.aspx.
I recommend to right click the Sites tile and then select the Properties to see the URL of the tile.
In general, the URL of the Sites tile should be
https://xxxxx/_layouts/15/MySite.aspx?MySiteRedirect=AllSites. Please check if the URL of the Sites tile is right.
If it is the correct URL, I recommend to type the URL in the browser directly and then check the results.
In the meanwhile, you can post your question to the forum for Office 365: http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/default.aspx.
More experts will assist you, then you will get more information relation to SharePoint Online.

Am stuck in the Settings app main page, How do I get out of it?

I have an iPhone 4S and had accidentally deleted my backup. I wents to turn the back up on and am now stuck in the Settings app main screen. How do I get out of it? I've tried tapping the home button and Siri comes up.

Press and release the HOME button once. Do not hold it, or Siri will come up (as you discovered). If that doesn't close Settings reset the phone by holding the HOME and SLEEP buttons until an Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds)

Question on forcing the style on main page in publisher

Hey Guys,
We have announcement portlet created using publisher. We want to provide rich text editor for the text field of the announcement in the create article pop up page.
The issue we have is font size and color of the text specified by the user using the rich text editor overwrites the styles that are specified in the presentation templates. The question is how to force the font size and color of the text to the style specified on the presentation template. In other words how to overwrite the font size/color which user specifies using the editor to the font size/color which is specified in the presentation template.

If you do not want users to be able to style the article text at all then you should change that field to be a plain text field instead of rich text. You can change this on the data entry template for the articles themselves.

Customising the icons on overview page of ESS

Hi ,
I have a requirement for ESS in portal that i have to change the icons available in Overview page of ESS.
Say for example for near Wrking time we have a icon clock icon where i found this under the path spro->personal management->Define Resource-> and for the resource EMPLOYEE_WORKTIME_PIC i found the value for Object name: calendar_clock.gif.
Now i would like to know where this gif file is stored in portal so that i will replace my custom icon into that place.
Please let me know the path where this file is stored in the portal.

The icons are not stored in portal content. Its stored in the J2EE server path of the software components like:-..pcui_gp~xssutils/Components/com.sap.xss.ser.xssmenu.vc.areagroup.VcXssMenuAreaGroup/
You need to copy and past your icon there.

But it's not possible to call the Oracle Forms Forum
from the Oracle Forms Main Page !

Having trouble upgrading latest version of Firefox. Have attempted this several times and still getting message on main page that I do not have latest version. What do I need to do?

I have attempted to upgrade latest version from main Firefox page, but still have the message on main page that I need to upgrade, that I have not upgraded to latest version. What are the exact steps I need to execute in order to have the latest upgrade? I've clicked on the "upgrade" icon and it has taken me through the steps, but still tells me I'm not upgraded. Very frustrating.

The latest version of Firefox is 9.0.1, so it looks like your updates have failed. You can look at the Knowledge Base article [[Updating Firefox]] for some troubleshooting steps. Alternatively, you might just want to try installing a fresh copy of the latest version of Firefox. I would look at the Knowledge Base article [[Backing up your information]] first. That way you'll have a backup of all your bookmarks and person information.
Then you should completely uninstall Firefox and then download a new copy from:
http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/new/

Performance issue with loading Proclarity Main Page..

Hi All,
I have Proclarity 6.3 installed on a Windows 2008 R2 OS. The Proclarity Reports was working well until last week. From last few days I am seeing a slow response time in loading the Proclarity Main page.
Loading Proclarity Main page on Internet Explorer 8 is taking 150 seconds and the same Proclarity Main page is loading on Google Chrome in 30 seconds.
Have any of you faced similar issue ?
Already below things explored
1. Clear Cache on PAS Tool
2. Event Viewer, Noticed if there is any error or warning
3. Tried browsing the Proclarity URL from server itself ( still the performance is slow)
4. Memory consumption validated on server side. MSSQLServer was consuming more space. Hence restarted /. After restart also same issue ( with loading main page in IE ONLY)
5. Checked drive space .. All drives has minimum 1.5 GB of free space
6. Cleared up Proclarity Event Logs
The issue is NOT ONLY with loading Main page.. Navigating to any further web pages in Proclarity STANDARD and PROFESSIONAL version is responding VERY slowly.
The only other option, that I am thinking now is RESTARTING THE WINDOWS SERVER. Which may not be a easy deal SINCE ITS A PRODUCTION SERVER.
But the loading of web page on Chrome is 30 seconds and on IE its 150 seconds ( i.e, 5 times more..) .. So does proposing to restart the server makes sense ?
Any help, suggestion , thoughts on what I am facing.. ? Thanks

another way :
you can define a global variable in your application class and subsquently change its value according to your requirement as the name of the page
and whenever you want to move to some page. jaust assign on onclick event of the button:
navigation->goto_page(global_variable);
where global variable is the variable you have defined.
