Hi All, we are in the process of implementing the UWL in ECC6, the decesion buttons to select in these systems differ they are not same; in one system we see all buttons in other system
some buttons are missing. however we have the same settings and configuration in both the systems. kindly advise me on this.

We have connected the same system (SAP ECC 6.0) in 2 portals (Portal 7.0 SP 14) and performed the same settings on both systems.To explain the issue Iu2019ll use an example: we launched a simple test workflow from SWU3. In one portal, in UWL Task Preview we see user decision buttons for this task: u2018Execute background step immediatelyu2019 and u2018Execute background step in a minuteu2019. However, we donu2019t see these buttons in the other portal and we did the same thing on both (we made sure that UWL iView settings as well as system definitions are the same on both portals, and simply registered the R3 system in UWL Admin; no change to automatically generated xml config file after register). We canu2019t figure out why these buttons show in one portal and we donu2019t know how to enable these user decision buttons to show on the other portal. Weu2019ve seen in documentation how to hide them (in iView settings), but no option to force them to display.

Connect Same BO server to Two BI system QBW and DBW

Hello friends we are using same BO server to connect to two BI system DBMW and QBMW.
we are not able to see the OLAP Cubes during the creation of universe connection using the Quality system QBMW and Application server "sapbmw01" client 100, system # 00. But we are able to set up the connection in our development system DBMW.
We have also done OLEDB release setting for queries but my universes are based on BI Infocubes and not queries
I will highly appreciate if you can let me know if we need some special role to access the OLAP Cubes during the creation of universe connection using the Q system. I have also imported the authentication OF SAP ALL role to BO.
Surprisingly we are using SAP_BW_ALL in Quality system still we are not able to access the infocubes but we can see the queries in Quality QBMW . is there some thing missing in CMS IN BO to make that work.

Hello Meryll. We have referred to SAP documentation on BO which say Universe can be build on top of BI infocubes and which works correctly in our development system. so that proof that we can build webi reports via olap universe directly on top of infocubes. But now the problem is when we want to set up the same connection on BO server using the Quality box which is closed system we do not see the infocubes.
so I will highly appreciate if you can let me know what is missing in Quality box than the Development box, since I checked roles its sap_all in Q box also and I checked Cubes are the same as D box.
so why it is not working in quality box , is that some thing with the Licence key do we need seperate license key for each box LIKE D, Q, P
Please help me this is holding our Go Live at BMW.

Since loading ver 13 the toolbar buttons are 3 times the size they were and now take up large amount of display. How do I reset them?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

I found the solution at the Google support page. Google buttons might either change or disappear if Google Toolbar is set to access Google Toolbar settings everywhere. Change that setting to local computer only takes care of it. (So Far.)

The easiest way to get rid of this white line...click on the affected photo, open up the Inspector and click on the Ruler tab. Now increase the height of the photo by one or two pixels. This should work.
The other method is to select the affected photo, open up the Inspector to the Shapes tab and change the opacity of the photo to 99%. This should also work.
Basically, both methods work by forcing iWeb to re-render the image as PNG by changing the photo ever so slightly.

After you publish to a folder, just select the folder in the Finder and type "Apple-i" to get the size of the folder. Is this what you are after?

How to show two different plots with current system time and date on waveform chart

I am using one waveform chart to display the more than one value continiously. The data are comming properly but i am not getting my system (pc) time and date on x axis. It is showing default date and time (i.e.01/01/1904 5:30:45). Please give me suggestions to display the real time and date on x axis of waveform chart.

How does your data look like? Do you graph waveform data types, dynamic data, or plain arrays/clustes? In the case of plain arrays, you need to set x0 to the absolute start time of your data, e.g. with a property node.
I you would attach your code (or an image) we could offer more specific advice. There are too many possibilities.

I'm tring to install two Daqcard700's in same computer running Win2000 and Nidaq6.9.2 and the cards are not given two different device numbers by the NIDAQ device configuration wizard.

One Daqcard 700 and one daqcard 16x-50e in same machine work fine but two Daqcard 700's are not assigned two diferrent device numbers by the device configuration wizard.

I have this same problem with the previously described observations. I tried two Daqcard-700s in three different laptops, two with Windows XP and One with Windows 2000. Tried all suggestions in Knowledgebase and Forum I could find with no luck. Single cards work ok. Removed and reinstalled drivers in Device Manager. Tried the Windows 2000 patch for this problem. Changed the PCMCIA adapters on the laptop to Generic Cardbus Controller from one suggestion. Running Labview 6.1 with Ni-Daq 6.9.3 and Max 3.1. Tried also Max 2.1.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Decision Buttons for SC Approval without functionality

Dear Experts,
in SRM 7.0 Classic, we are facing the following problem:
When an approver logs on to the SRM Portal, he sees a work list with the shopping carts that are open for approval.
At the bottom of the list there are so called decision buttons where it should be possible to approve or reject a shopping cart without entering it.
Unfortunately these buttons are not working in our system. When the approver klicks on such a button, e.g. the button Approve or Reject, the following error is shown on the screen:

You can handle it in the BADI BBP_SRC_DETERMINE. Approved SC goes to Sourcing Cockpit and PO is not generated.

An SCM system (APO) can be integrated with multiple ECC systems (logical
systems). It may therefore be the case that the number assignment for certain
master data objects, for example, material masters, is not the same in all these
logical systems. In the example above, material number A in logical systems 1
and 2 signifies the same cube, whereas the same material number in logical system
3 (perhaps a subsequently purchased plant) is a cylinder.
If logical systems 1, 2 and 3 are planned with the same SCM System, the problem
arises that the system cannot simply transfer the ECC material numbers into APO,
as they may be ambiguous.
To guarantee that the naming of master data in distributed system landscapes is
unique, business system groups are defined in APO as areas of the same naming
convention. A Business System Group (BSG) groups different physical systems to
form a higher-level logical unit.
If, for example, two logical systems (LS1 and LS3) exist in a system landscape in
which you want to integrate APO and contain different materials with the same
name (Material A is a cube in LS1, but a cylinder in LS2), this conflict must
be resolved for integration in APO. First of all, both logical systems are to be
assigned to different business system groups (BSG1 and BSG2).

% DB increase differs for two system from the same landscape

Hi all ,
I have done upgrade and then unicode conversion for the two system- sandbox and development from 4.6 C to ECC 6.0 with oracle 10 G and AIX 5.3
On sandbox % db( used db size in DB02 ) increase is 60 to 80 which is as per SAP figures after unicode conversion however on dev it is almost 150 % .
Has anybody faced the same problem before or can you suggest somthing for this tremendous data growth
Also what I have observed is threre are 7 tablespace on sandbox and 8 on Dev with "PSAPSR370" as the additional one on DEV ( PSAPSR3700 is different )
Please help me on this

the database growth depends heavily on the content. Which languages do you have installed in your system and which modules are used by your company?
I think the normal growth should be in a range of zero to 30 percent. The lower end comes from the reorganization effect due to the migration and 30 percent comes due to the fact that most data is normally numeric and numbers are the same with or without Unicode. But in rare situations it could be possible to see much higher values. The reason is, that Oracle, and also DB2, are using UTF-8 encoding if you're running your system as Unicode system. In UTF-8 a two byte Unicode character could be encoded in up to four bytes. That means if your systems contains lots of double byte characters it could grow much more than 30% but it seems unusual to me.
Are you sure that nothing was wrong with your migration?

I would like to transfer old reel-to-reel tapes to an iMac. There are different recordings on the left and right channel of the tapes. When I connect the tape deck to the Mac, I get one recording on the left, the other on the right speaker. What to do?

I was about to transfer some music from a reel-to-reel machione to my Mac. There are different sound recordings on the left and right channels. When I connect with RCA cables and Y-connector, I hear one recording from the left speaker, another from the right side. How do I record only one side, but hear it from both speakers?

You don't say what end, or connectors are plugged into what. I'm assuming the RCA connectors are on the reel-to-reel end. Since the tape has two different mono recordings, one on each track, you of course only want one at a time during playback. Otherwise, the Mac (or any recording setup) can only treat it as a stereo recording with the standard Left-Right tracks.
1) There are multiple ways to connect different types of cables to get a mono signal down to a stereo output at the Mac. Here's one way.
2) Plug any RCA cable (single cable or stereo) into only the right or left RCA output of the reel-to-reel.
3) On the other end of the RCA cable, plug in an adapter like this. That will feed the single RCA output into a mono 1/8" plug.
4) Then plug that adapter into this. That turns the 1/8" mono signal into a "stereo" output with the same single track audio being fed to the Mac on both the left and right channels.
5) Record either the left or right output of the reel-to-reel. Rewind the tape and switch the RCA connector on the reel-to-reel to the right channel (if you started with the left) and record that mono signal as stereo.
Or, avoid all of this hardware mumbo-jumbo in the first place and do this:
1) Record the audio just the way you have it. Two different recordings, one on each channel.
2) Copy the audio recording to a new name and open it in your editor.
3) Highlight the left track and copy/paste it into the right track. Presto! Mono recording of the left track on both channels. Save the recording.
4) Repeat, only copy/pasting the right track into the left track and save the second recording.

Yes, it is possible. If one is CI (PAS) and the second one is an AS (AAS). In this case there will be only one database.
If you are talking about two separate SAP systems with separate databases (Eg: A BI and an ECC) with the same SID then the problem will be with the database (Eg: Oracle)
The database will be installed under /oracle/SID/112_64 (ORACLE_HOME) unless one database is running on 10 G and in that case the ORACLE_HOME will be /oracle/SID/102_64
The next issue will be with the SAP file systems like /sapmnt/SID
The most important problem will be with the switch to the sidadm and orasid users and the conflicts there. If there is a need to stop one of the SAP systems and if you do a switch to sidadm and issue a stopsap command which system will be stopped ?
These are few of the many problems I can think of.
So if we are talking about two separate systems with their own databases I would rule out the possibility of having two systems with the same SID.

I'm running 10.8 and Safari 6.0.2 so this might not apply to you exactly but, in that setup: in View on the menu bar is a setting for Show Toolbar. If it says "Hide Toolbar" then the toolbar is showing. If it says "Show Toolbar", it is not showing (so click on that and it will make the toolbar appear). If only certain pieces of the toolbar are missing, use View/Customize Toolbar.

I don't actively "use" my icloud and my id on the icloud and my itunes account/apple id are different (I've forgotten multiple times and have reset). How can I stop my phone from tellingme over and over to enter my icloud id?

If it is signed into and iCloud account in Settings>iCloud and is running iOS 7 with Find My iDevice enabled, you will have to provide the correct password for your iCloud account. (An iCloud ID is also an Apple ID.)
