UWL for Manager : Multiple work items for approval

Hi Experts, We have a scenario when the line manager is approving the leave workitems in his UWL. And the UWL has multiple leave workitems pending for approval. When the line manager click on any of the work item in the UWL, The UWL opens the items which was first creared in the UWL rather than the one which the line manager clciked. Then line manager has to navigate to the desired work item by clicking on next button. Is their any funtionality / customization available to get only the work item which is clicked in the UWL. I had the same issue and spent a long time correcting it including opening a OSS request with sap.
It took a combination of all almost all the notes above (1807724 is included in our current release so we didn't have to install).
But nothing worked for us until SAP directed me to the following note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1733095 that was the final fix to all our problems.
One other thing to note is from the time we implemented the correction for note: 1946640 had changed from its original so if you implemented it before revision 3 came out you may need to update.

We have upgraded to service pack EHP4 and after upgrading suddenly we encoutered that there are two workflows triggered for a single PO. I have checked the workflow trace and found that there are two events getting generated due to which these two workflows are there. Can you please suggest how we can resolve the issue?

Thanks Arghadip, what exactly the release code should be? I can see only one entry in the release strategy. Do we have anything single and parallel release startegy? Moreover I have already checked in swetypv and there is only one entry, also it is the same event that is triggered and even at the same time.
Also please suggest how can i can check that there are different release code from the events.

RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL No e-mails exist for execution of work items

Hi ,
We are trying to implement SRM offline approval. The system is able to send the email to the approvers, but when they click on approve, the work item does not get updated.
When i try to run report RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL it says that No e-mails exist for execution of work items. No Work Item Found for Processing. What do i need to check to resolve this. If I approve thru SRM, it is working.

Same material can exist on multiple line items for the same order.

But if this is a must requirement, you can do an elaborate check during order save in ORDER_SAVE BAdI and return error. So, it will be only during order save.

After "Configure Feature", "Changed By" field shows my name for most of work items

I recently upgraded TFS from 2010 to 2012. And I am running "Configure Feature" for every project. The configuration ran successfully. However, when I run a query, the "Changed By" field shows my name for most of work items. I thought
configuration should never touch the data. More interesting, I go to history of work items, there is no change by me at all. Now why did history and query show totally different data?

You can create a new work item to have a check if the same issue occurrs. To configure features, you can refer to the links below to see if you configured correctly:

Customising a SharePoint list content type form - "Manage multiple list items with this form"

I have designed a form for a content type on an existing SharePoint list. When I ran the initial wizard, I selected
Manage multiple list items with this form which is great, exactly what I want.
But, there are some columns in this content type that I do not want repeating and have them moved them outside of the Repeating Section but I am getting the below error. I can't seem to find a way to create a new non-repeating group though. Any
advice on how to do this?

Forwarding of Work Item from Approver's Inbox

Hi All,
We are in SRM 5.0 SP07 Classic Scenario.
We have a requirement of restricting forwarding of work items from approver's inbox to users who do not have a approver's role. Presently, when the system takes in a user ID who is having a requisitioner role or for that matter any role. The requistioner receives a work item but the requsitioner is not be able to approve/reject the workitem.
We would like to ensure only the approvers are selected in search and other users are not even displayed for selection.
Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi,
As per the config guide,when you try to assign the User,using the FIND button,you will get to see all the users with the role "SAP_BBP_STAL_MANAGER" who can approve.
Else you can filter the possible selection with the BADI BBP_CHNG_AGNT_GET.

People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version

i am using sharepoint 2010 and windows authentication
recently i have updated my ie to ie11 and problem goes here.
when i try to select from people picker, there are an unexpected error happened
however when i use other ie version, people picker work fine, what goes wrong?
i have already added my system as trusted site
if there any others thing i miss out?

According to your post, my understanding is that People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version.
IE 11 is known to have compatibility issues on SharePoint 2010, please make sure to:
first of all, try installing latest update for IE 11 (several compatibility issues were fixed since the first release)
add the site to compatibility view (in IE> Tools> Compatibility view settings> type site name> add)
add the site to trusted sites and set the zone security level to low (in IE> Internet Options> Security> trusted sites> sites>add your site there> ok> custom level> select low> reset> ok)
You can use developer tools (f12) and set browser mode to the version that is most compatible with your environment.

Repetitive Work Items for the same trip in UWL

Hi Experts,
Every time user clicks on save and send button , work flow gets triggered and work item is sent to user's UWL.
For the same trip no multiple workitem are appearing in approver's uwl.
Please suggest how we can restrict one work item at a time.

Dear Surjit,
1) Create a parallel fork, in the starting point of the workflow. In one branch put all the step which you developed.
It was already created.
2) In another step, create a "Wait for Event", in this call the change event.
I changed from Created Event to Changed Event.
But still the previous work item is not getting completed.
When I have checked in SWEL.
When I changed the Travel Expense then 2 events are trigerred.
i) Changed
ii) Created
Work Item is trigerred through Created Event.
Do we need to map the Work flow object with Events somewhere ?

SC with awaiting approval status and no work item for Approvers.

Hi Experts,
We are implementing Classic scenario with SRM7.0 and we are having Application controled Workflow.
We are fasing issue in workflow. On SC getting ordered the status is showing as awaiting approval and there is no work item found in BBP_PD.
When we approve this SC in SWO1 then there is no PO getting created.
If the SC value is less than spend limit we have enabled no Workflow and in that case the approval agent table is showing as System Approver and after SC getting ordered the SC is still with the status Awaiting approval.
Can any once have an idea how to go about with this issue.

Did you check the event linkage in SWE2? what do you see in SLG1? Did activate the task groups 40000003 and 40000007? also check in SM58 and SM21..

Options for leave request work items in ECC6

We are upgrading our backend system from R/3 4.7 to ECC6. I am not very impressed with the leave request authorisation process and wondered if there are any other options open to us.
In 4.7, leave requests were workflowed to the requester's manager with a subject like this:
Process leave request from <fromdate> to <todate> submitted by <person>
When the manager selected it, they only see that request.
In ECC6 (using task 12300111 and the Webdynpro 'Leave Request: Approval') the subject in the inbox is;
<person>'s Leave Request
When the manager opens the item they see all leave request from all staff, despite this, they can only process one item at a time. Once completed, they are given an option to Approve Another Absence - but the link does not work. I can remove that link using ctrl-right-click, but was wondering;
1 Has anyone got the "Approve Another Absence" link working when the iView is launched from the UWL?
2 Has anyone managed to put the details of the request into the subject?
3 Has anyone managed to setup bulk authorisation of multiple requests in one step?
4 Has anyone managed to restrict the workitem to only display a single request?

Check the "Leave Request: Apporval" iView's ID if you try this - I don't know if ours is in the 'standard' place within the PCD.

Production order from sales order with multiple line item(for one material)

Dear Gurus,
I am working in MTO scenarios. If there is several line item in a sales order for one material, multiple production order( same as no. of sales order line item) is getting created against each of the line item.My requirement is,since the material code is same in each line item and sales order is one, one production order should be generated for all line item. please tell me how to do it.
(Here for one material, multiple line item is required for some specific reason)

This is not possible.
In Std SAP will create one production order for one sales order. The stock is also allocated to thet particular sales order only. Because each and every sales order may vary in any one of the parameters. Considering this, SAP has designed like this.

Disable Reject Button for Invoice on Work Item Screen

Hi! I know we can use the Dynamic Column configuration to disable and enable the Approve/Reject button on the Inbox screen where the approval work items are displayed. However, I would like to know whether it is possible to have only the Reject button disabled? Reason for asking this is a rejection reason needs to be maintained for the rejection. The check is in place if we reject the invoice from the detail screen. However, if we reject it from the Inbox screen, it will go through without any warning or error message. I have searched OSS notes but found nothing so am wondering whether this can be considered a bug or not. If not, then I want to know what solution option I have relating to this. I am thinking of either a repair to disable the button on the screen for invoice approval or find a why with the dynamic columns to do that.
Appreciate any comments on the above.
