UWL : Opening workitem in Same screen

Hi experts,
I use Universal worklist to see the workitems in the SAP inbox. Users doesn't like to navigate between screens. If he clicks the workitem in the top he want to see the details step in the bottom without navigating between screens.
for (e.g ) There is an workitem for approval in the UWL inbox when the user clicks the item it navigates to new page, instead he wants to see it in the same page with the workitem list in one view nother Iview to show the details with the Notification Object to do the action for the approval process.
Has any expert come across this situation?

Is it possible to display the workflow task in the same iView where the UWL table is displayed and go back to the UWL table automatically after processing the task?
This would increase the user-friendliness enormous.

Is it possible to open the workitem task, when clicking on the row in the UWL, in the same iView where the UWL was displayed instead of opening it in a separate window?
I looked at the generated HTML code and there always "target='_blank'" is added causing this.

Where is the workitem task displayed when launching an iView is configured in the override.xml file?
In a separate windows or in the iView of the UWL replacing the UWL?
I am interested to do so for EP5 and EP6.
Any experts out there that can help?

Is there a way to make movies open with the same screen size and position?

Hello, I'm a new mac guy having just bought an i-mac a few months ago.
I have a bunch of saved movies that open in quick time. Each time I open a separate movie by double clicking the file, the window opens in the upper right hand corner in a fairly small window. I must then drag the window size and location to a much larger size. I do this every time.
I saw under quicktime, preferences, a section about preferences for full screen. This seems to work one time, for that movie, but all subsequent movies (even in full screen) or their same size.
Is there a way to make the window size and/or location permanent?

How do I get pop-ups to open in the same screen Firefox is on?

I have 3 monitors at work for the 10-15 programs/windows I need open all day. The problem is that my normal work requires a pop-up from our company's ticketing system, hosted on a website. That pop-up always occurs on the upper left-hand corner of the main display while Firefox is open on the second display. ***I'd like it to open in front of the current Firefox window*** instead of on a completely different display. How can I achieve this?
Before you say "Move Firefox to the main display", I'd like to add that I'm using Citrix for multiple other programs and it has the same annoying habit. I can't have them both on the same display since I need to see them both at once. I'm also trying to find a solution for Citrix doing this. Whichever app gets fixed first gets a home on the second display.

Excel 2011 not opening on the same screen I am on

When using Excel and Word 2011 I noticed when I have excel spreadsheets or word documents already open, opening a new one or closing one will move me to a screen with an open word or excel file when I have the option to move to a window with an open file for the application. I have mutiple desktops through mission control, and I like to use each space for whatever project I am working on. Having Office programs swap the screen for me is mildly frustrating as I wnat to open whatever document or create a new document in whichever screen I am using at the time.
It appears to be an Office 2011 issue as only programs from Office exhibit this behavior. (So far that I have seen)

Anyone experiancing this issue? To clarify, opening and closing excel and word files are moving me to screens where I have other excel or word files open when using mission control. I all mission control boxes unchecked in system preferences and I don't see anything in the excel preferences that could be overriding it.

I am getting error in UWL while opening workitem (advance claim) in inbox, error is as below:

What has happened?

Note

UWL connection is fine as workflow is getting trigered and i can see work item in manager's inbox. I have created a dedicated template system for UWL with Web AS as ECC host:port number and Web AS path as /sap/bc/bsp/sap.
And maintained other connector and ITS properties and all connection test successully passed.
As we have only one sever so while creating system using load balacing template, was not able to identify message server name which is to maintained in case load balancing system.
Please help me finding out where can be the issue.

When registering the system in UWL, specify a WebDynpro Launch System. That should resolve the issue.
WebDynpro Launch System -- create a system of type WAS and mention the WAS host name and WAS path.

I think the 10.9 java updater is installing version 7.

Open both of your images in the Editor. Click on the image you want to copy and press Ctrtl+A (select all) followed by Ctrl+C (copy) then click the tab for your other image and press Ctrl+V (paste)
Alternatively click on your background image then simply drag the second image from the photo/project bin and drop it into the main editor workspace on top of the background image. Use the move tool to position and the corner handles of the bounding box to scale.

I'm used to being able to have several applications open at the same time, and able to check emails, eBay, camera for downloading photos, etc., but when trying this on Mac, I can't seem to figure out how to swing from email to something else....oh, it opens up eBay and other pages, but not where I left it...I have to keep starting from the beginning...name, password, etc. I can't have 3, 4 or 5 safari pages open at the same time?? This is making my life cumbersome, and running back to the basement office and using my dying Dell desktop where life was a bit simpler. Sometimes I need to copy a few paragraphs on one website into another....and its taking me way too long to get this done. I know there's a way of doing this on Mac....

I was new to mac a short time ago and I had frustrations in the learning curve especially as I was so used to working with PC.
If you look at the top left of the screen you will see the words SAFARI next to the apple logo. if not then either open safari or click on the window and the mac will then show safari at the top. If you now click on FILE you can select NEW WINDOW or NEW TAB as you wish. I often use new tab and switch between them. If you go to VIEW and select CUSTOMISE TOOLBAR you can drag an icon to the top of the safari window and you won't have to keep going to the menu to add a new tab. I will sometimes select new window to keep something separate from my other work.
If you close down a window you will often lose your place, but using the tab system you will leave the window active unless you select the cross to terminate. If you have a separate window open you can select the orange blob (between the red and green at the top) and the window will slide down to the dock and stay there, active, for you to return and continue.

PS I have PARALLELLS6 running with a copy of windows 7 on my mac. This means that I can switch to microsoft if I want to. However, with office for mac installed I rarely need to now, the only time I ever open windows is for an application that has no mac version.

Notice how in the photo, I can't identify which MS office document I would like to switch too. Perhaps since the Dashboard and Desktop windows are at the top of my screen now Apple doesn't let you have all the applications take up the full screen and be sized individually so that you can have a better idea on what to pick.
I like the idea of grouping to an extent... If you have a bunch of random things it was hard for me to decifer between what was safari, chrome, or word. But now that they grouped them like this, if you have multiple pages of one program running, you can't switch between those pages easily like before.

If I wanted to open any of my Applework documents I had to open them one at a time and resave them with pages. This could take weeks.I have 1000s of apple work documents.
You don't have to open and re-save every AppleWorks document you have right now. Just wait till you need one, then do it. The documents aren't going anywhere.
Am I dealing with Microsoft? This was a BIG surprise to me that Apple would release an OS without testing all programs.
Frankly, it is not Apple's responsibility to ensure compatibiltiy with every piece of software available for OS X. That is the responsibility of the software vendor. Lion has been available to developers for several months before it's release, so Microtek had plenty of time to update their software. Yet they did not. How is that Apple's fault? I think Apple was very generous to give you a refund for Lion.
I'm not trying to belittle your frustration but I do think your ire is misplaced.
