UWL - Show Webdynpro screen not ITS screen?

Hi,
We are using standard SAP MSS and when a workflow is sent for approval the receiving manager gets notification in the UWL/task. The link in the UWL opens a ITS screen for IQS22. How do we configure it so that it opens the form in WebDynpro with Approve and reject buttons.

Hi Salim,
I assume you have performed all the required steps with SWFVISU and it's pointing to the right webdynpro application now. Now that you are saying that even after this configuration you still see the ITS based screen and not the webdynpro application, you may have to perform the following steps. Let us know if that solves the problem:
1) Go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Universal Worklist & Workflow -> Universal Worklist Administration -> Universal Worklist - Content Configuration
2) Delete the uwl configuration file which is being used for ESS-MSS eg. uwl.webflow.SAP_Webdynpro_XSS
3) Go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Universal Worklist & Workflow -> Universal Worklist Administration -> Universal Worklist - Cache Admin
4) Clear the expired items and cache for the system which is being used for ESS-MSS
5) Go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Universal Worklist & Workflow -> Universal Worklist Administration -> Universal Worklist - Webflow Item Type Registration
6) Click on Register Items types for new systems only
7) Go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Universal Worklist & Workflow -> Universal Worklist Administration -> Universal Worklist - Content Configuration
8) Select the option Display or Remove Current Configurations and Their Customization
9) Check if the new item types have got added in the configuration file and they refer to the correct webdynpro application and launcher. Search for IsrFormApprove.
10) If the new item type doesn't refer to the correct application and launcher, you may download this configuration file, make the necessary changes and upload it setting the priority as high
These steps should solve your problem.

'Description Field' - only shows in Contract Screen not Quotation Screen

Hi All,
I am in the process of creating some functionality where an Opportunity is created in CRM, then Quotations are created from these Opportunities... The winning Quotation is released through to R/3 and then a Contract is created from that Quotation. My problem is:
When the Opp is created the user adds a 'Description', when the Quotation is created the Description is still in the header data, once the Quotation is released into r/3 the Description is there at table level but not on screen anywhere - whereas when I create the Contract the field (albiet noit populated) is on the screen...
My question is - How do you get the DESCRIPTION field in the Quotation Screen VA21-VA23 - they seem to be using the same screen number as VA41-VA43

Black Screen (Not Death Screen)

Ok, here's my problem. Every so often (More often now) my LCD screen would go black and become Non-Detected by my windows operating system. My external monitors all connect and can be detected but this one can not. I have checked my LCD Bulb and it is fine, my inverter is fine aswell and so is my graphics card. I know this because my screen was working yesterday and the screen was Detected then. I am doing an inverter check later on today and as for my graphics card, well it wouldn't be showing up on my external monitor if it were bad. I honestly have no earthly idea why this is happening but I am wondering if my computer needs to have a Reflow done on it. It is an Compaq Presario Cq61 and I purchased it in 2010. If anyone knows anything I would really enjoy the help. Thanks.

This is what I meant. The internal vga cable. It could be a buggy vga driver. I had a netbook that had an issue when it came from hibernation and it was a bad graphics driver (Windows one). BTW: My Dv6 laptop went straight to BSOD after waking up from hybernantion. However, I don't use Windows so didn't bother much about it.

Lenovo 24 inch touch screen not full screen with 1920x1080 selected (L2461xwA)

I have the L2461xwA Lenovo Widescreen Touchscreen display. When I set the resolution to 1680x1050, it is full screen as expected. When I set the resolution to 1920x1080, which is the native resolution, it is NOT full screen. There is about a 1 inch black border on the left and right sides and about a 3/4 inch border on the top and bottom when in 1920x1080 resolution. How do I make it full screen?
(I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and have installed all of the drivers. The touch functionality and camera are working great)

Nevermind. I resolved it. When I switched DVI ports on my video card, it worked.

My scroll bar dissapears when my firefox screen isn't maximized - how do I make it show up when not full screen?

This just happened spontaneously yesterday - did I press some strange shortcut to make this happen? How do I get my scroll bar back when not in full screen?
Please help!

It is possible that the screen is too high and that the status bar and scroll bar fall off at the bottom. 
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window. 
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.

Playback only stutters in preview screen, not full screen.

Brand new iMac 5k, maxed processor and graphics driver, and loaded up with 32gb of ram. Files live on internal 1tb drive. Originally 1080p 30fps MP4 with h.264 codec. Have created proxy, have optimized, have used compressor to switch to prores format. The files play, freezes, then plays again and freezes. Occasionally I get a dropped frame alert when playing on timeline or when previewing original file. Files do not stutter when doing full screen playback! I have turned on and off background rendering also. This is my first foray into FCPX so any help is appreciated. Timeline is set to match the frame rate of clips when I load it in. Beta testing the new Yosemite, could that be it?

Same here. I sent feedback to Apple since this stuttering didn't occur for me before the beta. I suggest you do the same.

The home page fills the screen (not full screen), but when I visit any site the screen displayed is only the size of a4, how can I make this like the home page

Hi, the home page is displaying everything across the whole screen with the task bar intact, but when I get any other url displayed, it displays in in the middle of the page the size of a4, I have tried re-setting the fonts, all to no avail, any help would be appreciative. Many Thanks Mark

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

Create a custom multiple selection on screen - not selection-screen block

Dear expert,
I created a text field on screen for input selection, e.g field bname for USR02-BNAME. How can i create a CUSTOMIZE multiple selection plus a paste (from clipboard) feature on this screen (e.g. SCREEN 0002) like standard selection-screen from SAP when we create a report.
For a better view on what i want:
This text field already use F4 customize search help. I need a multiple selection lines (like standard selection-screen a button on the right side of select-options field).
Remember, i don't create textfield from select-options parameter (e.q. SELECT-OPTIONS : XBNAME FOR USR02-BNAME),
but on a screen.
Anyone can help my case?.

Had the same question from my users. This was the first hit i found but unfortunately without an answer. So for those with the same question, this is how i solved it (goede voornemen voor 2014). In my case the request is a complex selection on the LFA1 table.
The screen contains two fields to enter the low/high value for lifnr (zdy_droogteschade-lifnr and zdy_droogteschade-lifnr_tot)
Created a button on the screen, mark this as output only, when pressed the routine multi_select_crediteuren is performed wich uses the fm 'COMPLEX_SELECTIONS_DIALOG'.
To top it all of, the icon on the button changes depending on the contains of the range table (in a routine called from the PBO).
This only works when the button is marked as 'output only',
Include the icon type pool: 'type-pools: icon.'

My ipod classic froze in the 'do not disconnect' screen.

I connected my ipod to my computer, and it showed the do not disconnect screen as it always does, but it froze on that screen.

Try holding down menu and the center button for a few seconds, until the apple symbol appears. This has always worked for me

Are your contacts using an iCloud account? Is this same iCloud account used on your iPad and iPhone? I believe that would be required to see the contact's name on your iPad.

Once a month you should charge your phone to 100% then drain it, then charge it back up to 100%.
Just leave the phone in and do what is said above.
How long do you think it will take to charge to 100%?

Try restoring the iPhone to factory settings. If you are having difficult restoring, put the iPhone into Recovery Mode and see if that then works:

If not, or if a restore to factory settings does not fix the problem, then your iPhone may have a hardware problem. You can only get the iPhone serviced by Apple in Canada, so you will have to take the iPhone there or send it to someone you know in Canada who can get the iPhone serviced and send it back to you. The only option for getting service in Pakistan would be to pay some unauthorized repair shop to attempt a repair, after which Apple will no longer provide any service even in Canada.

Since the screen doesn't work, it will be challenging to get it working, even thru iTunes. You will need to ask yourself if you want to invest more money in it or get a new one, especially since the contents will be lost since you don't know the passcode. Apple will gladly replace the screen for a cost that represents a significant portion of the price of a new. Once the screen is done, you may or may not be eligible for the free iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program.
Or, if you decide to salvage it and are strong of heart and firm of hand, you can replace the screen yourself for less. See here and note they carry kits with all needed tools and parts.

Finder > Finder Menu > Finder Preferences (these are not in System Preferences)
The General pane has checkboxes for various devices to show on the Desktop. A memory card is considered an external drive. If you want to see it on the Desktop when it mounts, check the external drives checkbox.

DMS Document is not opening in ITS screen

Hi All,
We are on EP 7. 0 SP 17 & ECC 6.0.
Our HODs are approving PO's and PR's through Portal through UWL. But when they are opening a PR or PO with DMS document
attachment, the attachment file is not opeing in ITS screen.

Hi Bharat,
Have you tried to execute the same t-code in the WEBGUI directly? The result is the same? You can check SAP note 1058218 (ITS Up/Down: open document with application directly) too (I don't the SAP_BASIS version from your backend system).
You also need to be sure that the document you are trying to open is in the app server and not in a local PC (via network drive): this will not work.
