UWL still showing completed tasks - is there any property to get refresh??

Even i complete the task in UWL still the same task is showing not getting updated or not updated in UWL.
how to make that completed task should disppear in UWL , is there any refresh or any specific property??

i was working on a project in iMovie (10.0.1) and iMovie just crashed. when i reopened it the project i was working on disappeared. in my list of projects it still says i have 3 projects but its only showing me 2. is there any way i can recover my project?? PLEASE HELP!!!
iMovie on your Mac has nothing to do with iCloud storage. Download and use Find Any File to search for your iMovie project. FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't, like invisible folders, packages and system folders. If there a file with your file name on it anywhere on the hard drive FAF will find it.
Do you have Time Machine enabled backing up to an external HD? This situation is exactly what TM is good at. It makes hourly backups so you can go back to find and restore the missing file. All HDs crash at some time or another and having a good backup strategy is the only protection against that. -
Before I updated to Firefox 4, I used to be able to see the security bar on the bottom right telling me whether it was secure (x-d out in red or not) before I logged into a site, purchased something, etc. I know the bottom tab has been brought to the top but I no longer see that bar/icon which bother me. Is there any way to get that security tab (that little gold lock symbol) to show again for every website?

I am using Cloud InDesign CS6 on Windows 7.You will need to go via your computer's iTunes - to get music into the Music app you either need to download it directly on the iPad from the iTunes store app, or sync it from your computer's iTunes

my tech service deleted thunderbird because we don't support it, but I still prefer it AND it had ALL of my addresses on it. Is there any way to get it back?
Thunderbird consists of a program (installed under Program Files) and your data, which you can find in your profile folder (explained [[Profiles TB|here]].
As long as you still have your profile data, it'll be back once you reinstall Thunderbird.
You could even run Thunderbird off a USB thumb drive if you prefer. -

Sounds like there is some discrepancies in the tagging in iTunes. See this page for more information.

I reset my iphone 4s, is there any way to get ringtones back that I purchased? They are not showing up under my available ringtones anymore
They are linked to your account, but they are also tied to the country that they were bought in - you won't be able to potentially redownload them unless you move back to the US and have a US billing address on your account (you have to be in a country to use its store, including redownloading past purchases).
Have you not got a backup copy of all of your downloads/library that you can copy them back from ? Even if you hadn't moved countries any item could be removed from the store at any time by the rights-holders (you are only guaranteed one download of any item), you should be keeping and maintaining a backup copy. -
After uploading to the cloud, i lost access to some of my songs. The library still shows the information and there is a cloud download icon but the font color would seem to indicate it has been deactivated (i.e. nothing happens when I click on it).
Problem closed (although not resolved). After working with Apple support, no resolution was found. I asked for a refund of the iTunes match purchase price, which was granted. Interestingly the support tech, who was very nice if not particularly helpful from a technical point of view, spun the "resolution" of refunding my iTunes match purchase price as a positive one, here is a quote from the final email
"I'm glad to hear that you're not having issues with the songs you've purchased. Nothing makes Apple happier than to hear that our customers concerns have been rectified."
It is notable that I never had an issue downloading music directly purchased thru the iTunes store, the only issue that existed was downloading songs that I ripped from my CD collection and "matched".
I'm happy that I received my money back, however I wish that the iTunes Match service worked for me (I was looking forward to this service). I'm most upset at the time I wasted trying to fix this problem.
I'll now download music the old fashioned way: syncing with iTunes directly. -

* Do you see mail accounts and folders, but all folders are empty?
* Are you talking about just the Inbox or other folders as well?
* What folders are missing emails?
* Did you have all your emails in the Inbox folder or stored in various folders?
* Did this occur after compacting the folder? -
Hi i synced an iphone to a new pc and it updated and restored the iphone to its original settings. some photos were still there after but a few hundred are now missing. Is there any way to get them back?
restore from a backup dated prior to when you synced to the new computer.
ideally... were you backing up to icloud? if so, erase all content and settings and restore from a backup in icloud dated prior to when you synced. Camera roll backs up I believe and those photos will show back up -

I was able to solve this by turning on and off iTunes Match.
It wiped out the media library completly. Then I synced all my music back.

Is there any way to get a stacktrace (both thread dump and monitor dump) when there is nothing wrong with the java application? ..The reason i want this is to see more closer what the application does. I tried the following command: kill -QUIT (PID) ..on a test app. but it didnt show anything, probably because there were not anything wrong, but i still want to see how the application is behaving while its running. I also tried typing <ctrl>\ in the window where the java application runs, but this seems to be the exactly same.
After typing <ctrl>\ i only get this "Quit" message and no stack trace:

So, is it possible to get a stacktrace from the application even if there is nothing wrong with the application just to see how its behaving ?Have you tried jstack:

I installed IOUSB family log release osx 10.5.6 on my mac osx 10.5.8. I am trying to log an rfid reader on the usb. Sadly on restart the usb is no longer working. Happily Windows is still running OK. Is there a way to get my usb back working? And is there a way to navigate in Windows to the file I installed and remove it? Any help appreciated.

Yes, it does. Right to where I am supposed to log in, but since the USB is not working (either mouse or keyboard), I'm stuck. I have to shut down and restart and boot into windows. -
My iphone screen and lock button are broken, I bought a new phone and want to get all the information off my old phone. My old phone will not sync with itunes because it has a pass code on it. I have no way to enter the pass code. Is there any way to get around this so I can still retrieve my information from it?
If you are using the computer that you normally sync with, it should sync without entering the passcode. However, if this is not the computer you normally sync with, you cannot get past the passcode, it has to be entered.
