V 10.1 installed but can't synch devices to iTunes
I just installed iTunes 10.1.1.4 I get an error message that says :The software required for communicating with the iPod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes to install the iPod's software. I have tried that as well as the "repair" function and I still can't get it to synch with my iPods. Any thoughts?

iTunes is part of OS X, which implies that iTunes was deleted, or that your OS X installation is corrupt. In either case, the easiest approach usually involves downloading the combo update for OS X — the so-called combo update, and not the delta update — and installing that.
Applying or re-applying the OS X combo update won't alter your user files, but will reload all recent OS X changes, and should also cause iTunes to be re-loaded.
If you are running Mavericks 10.9, then download and install the OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 combo update.
You'll want to have a backup of your system — updates don't fail often, but they can fail. If you don't have Time Machine or some other form of backups running, get that going first; before further changes here. -
Installing but can't use the css
I bought the P'shop CS6 at the Apple store, as well as my imac but ,even though I've regeistered with Adobe and have Reader, I'm not told how to get the program onto my compter. I'd appreciate any help. John

When updating itunes I get the message the install package can't find a file (itunes.msi) I've searched but can't find this file. How do I install it?
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
Just wondering if anyone has a problem with accessing iTunes store. have iTunes installed but can't bring up the store home page?
i have the same problem! Safari won't work either. Can anyone help please? I have completely restored my computer trying to fix this and it still won't work! I have a 2 month old alienware laptop running windows 7

I have lost Boinx in Video Generator plug in Effects, Fotomagico is installed but can't access the plug-in, any ideas? Have reinstalled FCE to no avail. I don't understand as was working fine then just gone. Any help would be much appreciated.
LizI think the suggestion by JimHdk is fair simple. Most Internet services providing email offer a way to access email via a browser like Safari instead of using the Mail app. You start Safari, got to the webmail webpage, enter a user name and password and are provided with a list of waiting emails. You can read emails, reply to emails, delete emails and create new emails on those sites. This is a very common way for people who travel a lot and who encounter your problem, to access their emails.
If you don't know the website for your webmail contact your provider. -

Have you tried installing and updating apps from the iPhone itself?
If you have restrictions enabled go to settings>general>restrictions and make sure "Installing Apps" is on. -

I have deleted apps to get storage but can't get shows on iTunes! It says that I don't have enough storage but I have over 1GB
You should have at least 10% of your total storage.
1 GB is not enough, you need to delete more

Hi there,
I created new apple id but can't sign in to itunes. It says that your id is not yet loged in so you have to review. In revies it shows payment method in which I provide full info of my visa card but it shows that the pin is incorrect although the pin is correct. If I try another card no then it shows that your payment method is declined. What should I do?????Is it asking for a PIN (for a debit card) or the three-digit number on the back of the card (for a credit card)?

I have downloaded 2 rented movies. I can find then in my downloads but can not find then in iTunes. I read the others that have had the same problem an I can't find the rented in iTunes

It sounds like you’re concerned because you don’t see your rentals in iTunes, but they appear to have downloaded. Take a look at the article below and check the Rentals tab in iTunes on your MacBook.

Find movies you rented previously
Find your movie on the device you used to rent it.
On a Mac or PC: Go to the Rentals tab in the Movies section of the iTunes Library.
On an iOS device: Go to the Rental tab of the Videos app.
Using Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation): Look in the top shelf of the main menu.

Maybe the "iTunes Music" folder is hidden.
Please open Terminal and issue the following command
ls -ladO /epoche/Music/iTunes/iTunes\ Music
you should get a line similar to this
drwxrwxrwx 13 yourusername staff hidden 442 12 Mar 21:49 /epoche/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music
Numbers, date and time may differ.
If you see hidden then the folder is hidden. To unhide "iTunes Music", in Terminal issue the following command
chflags nohidden /epoche/Music/iTunes/iTunes\ Music -
I'm from the USA but am on vacation in Brazil; I have a great WiFi connection but can not connect to the iTunes Store. Is this because I am out of the Country?
Thank you very much for your insight; I guess I had assummed that iPads/iPhones/iPods were here in Brazil and further assumed that the iTunes store would also be available.
