V.Urgent: EPM Version 11.1.2.0 Installation Issues

Hi,
I am installing EPM Version 11.1.2.0 in my laptop, selected only FOundation Services to install first. The install Progress stop at 99% with the below Error and it is not moving further
ERROR in Console as : " Creating Oracle Inventory, the process will take few minutes" and the below in Command window.
Can you please help to fix this issue? Appreciate your help in advance.

You need atleast 4 GB minimum for installing only Essbase and HSS version 11.1.2, performance would be little slow but it works.If you are using essbase even with HSS security you don't actually need the foundation service running, you can just run essbase and it should authenticate.

    I would like to ask for help in a "strange" area.
    We have built a small java programm to check locked objects (files) in essbase.
    We want so save the result (analog to the EAS-infos) in a oracle-table for analysis purposes.
    We also want to store the "lock-date" like it is shown in EAS for lockes objects grid.
    However we are unable to get  valid date/time information from the
    getTimeModified method.
    EPM-Version is 11.1.2.3 (the java-api as well)
    E.g. given the pos 6 of the array the resulting year is "115". obviously wrong.

  • Reports in EPM version 16 to be refreshed twice to see the values in the Report

    We are on BPC 10 and EPM version 16. When we try to refresh the Reports in EPM 16, the first time, it does not bring any values, but when we refresh the second time, we get the values in the Report. Has anyone faced the similar issue like this, please let me know how it can be solved? When i execute the same report in EPM 13, the report gets the values in the first refresh itself.

    Thanks for your help but as per the Note, I would like to check if this will help for my Report. As per the Note it says,
    Resolution
    A solution is to select the member Context(XXXX) in the 'EPM - Member selector' for the dimension initialized in page axis for the input schedule instead of referring to Sheet1 in the EPMOlapMember formula.
    Another solution is to implement a macro via a button in the second sheet that contains the input schedule as follows:
    Point 1: I have 6 sheets in this workbook, The Input Sheet which you see below is created by using a MACRO. Going to each sheet and changing the context would not help our users because they need to just refresh from the Input sheet.
    Point 2: It says, to go to each sheet and create a MACRO which is also not feasible for our users. They require to have it in the Input sheet only.

    Next time try to create a topic that is not the question.
    There was no option to remove epm instances in 11.1.2.1, basically the cloest you get is uninstalling the products on the server and hope that some of the info is removed from the epm registry

  • Urgent : Trial version of CS3 not being activated

    the trial version of Adobe is not being installed it asks for the activation while i want to use the trial version preseltly.

    One should get a dialog screen with two choices:
    1.) Trial
    2.) Activate with S/N and full activation via Internet/phone
    If you are not getting this option, then I'd suspect that there is something wrong with your installation file. Unfortunately, the trial release for CS3 has long expired, so I doubt that Adobe will be of much help. Installation issues are free, but I do not know if they extend to trials, even of the current release - never did an Adobe trial in my life.
    Maybe a search of this forum will reveal something from the days when the CS3 trial was current.
    BTW, where did you get the file? If from an Adobe download page, maybe try the download again.

    Well when the indsatalltion failed I was given instructions to select Download Only from Tools and then install manually. When I did it, I window popped up with the following items: - AppleApplicationSupport

    I completely understand what you're saying. Since that Repair did not resolve the issue, our best option is to uninstall iTunes and its components and redownload it. To do this, we will follow the steps in this article: Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

    First, we will want to quit iTunes and/or Apple Software Update if those are open at this time.

I tried to download a trial version of Pro, but the installer indicated that "it detected a more fully featured version of the product" - presumably my standard version? - and stopped installation. It is not clear to me what my options are for either upgrading to Pro, or selectively purchasing the "compare documents" plugin (if possible). I am using what is presumably an Enterprise version of acrobat (i.e. my employer owns it, not me) - so not sure what limitations that results in. I think this is a simple question, but would be grateful for advice.

    - You can't install Acrobat Pro alongside Acrobat Standard. You will need to remove Standard to be able to install Pro.
    - You (probably) can't upgrade your license if it's a part of an enterprise license. The entire license will need to be upgraded.
    - It's not possible to install just the "Compare Documents" function as a sort of add-on to Acrobat Standard.

    i am actually talking about the toshiba power saver for P30 for windows xp, driver installer is 32bit.
    however, the sofware insatller setup.exe is 16bit, you can notice it by reading it's description with windows os.
    of course, if you disable 16 bit support, you can't install toshiba power saver anymore.

  • Version 999 Project System Plan Data Issue

    I am using transaction CJ9B to copy the Project System related plan data i.e. plan data at the WBS element level from Version 10F, period 1 to 12  in year 2010 to version 999, period 1 to 12 in year 2010. The transaction CJ9B runs successfully in the update mode. But when report CJI4 is executed for version 999, period 1 to 12 in year 2010 then we do not find plan data in sync with version 10F.
    I analysed this issue, had a meeting with end user and blanked out target version 999 using source version 9ZR for the year 2010. Then I again copied version 999 from version 10F. Still plan data in version 999 do not exist as they are in version 10F. I have checked the version 999 master data in transaction OKEV. Integrated Planning for SPL, COPA, cost center accounting and business process is active. COPY Allowed is also enabled. Version 999 is unlocked as well.
    Hence I am not sure why the copy functionality is not working fine for version 999, period 1 to 12 in year 2010.
    Can you please take a look and revert with your opinion so that this issue can be fixed ?

    If you want to copy all the plan date from 10F to 999, then in Txn CJ9B
    select the indicator reset and overwrite in target version and execute in test mode.

    Custom will show automatically as soon as you just edit some options. So just go ahead, you don't need to select "custom"

    No.  Votre numéro de série est pour le PC uniquement, pas le Mac. Il n'est pas possible d'échanger une licence CS4 PC pour une licence de Mac.
