V11~ purchased albums not in cloud(?)

My MBA (10.8.2) iTunes has just been updated to v.11, and while I'm away from the library I thought I'd play some of what is in the cloud. Thusfar, I've only found one of my purchased albums (indicated with the cloud icon, and it plays correctly). There should be others, too many to look for individually ... my questions:
(1) Is there a way to list only what is in the cloud so that I can see if there's more than one, and figure out what is in common with those that do show and those that do not?
(2) Why wouldn't purchased albums (purchased with the same AppleID) not show?

I'm sorry, but what do you mean by "appear in the library" and "dragging them across". "Library" of what, and "dragging them across" to where?

Do they show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes for downloading, and the Purchased tab in the iTunes Store app on your phone ?

Purchased album not showing up at all

So I pre-ordered an EP a couple months ago (Take Me Out by Tom Milsom) and just suddenly remembered the purchase. Of course it's been out a while now. I was charged for the purchase, but I never got the album in my library. So I went back to check, and it's not in my purchase history OR my library. But when I search up the album on itunes it says "Purchased"... let me say that again: It says "purchased" in the itunes store, but doesn't show up in my purchases at all. I just want my album, okay? And it won't let me download it to the library. Any solutions?

Purchased albums not showing in the Albums view

I purchased an album and it is not showing up in the Albums view on the iPhone. It does, however, show up when I go to the Artists list or the Songs list. Can anyone help with this?

It looks like no one has responded, but I think I may be seeing a similar problem on my iPhone, but not in iTunes. I have three albums titled "Greatest Hits" (Journey, Pat Benatar, and ZZ Top). Any mode that doesn't have artwork associated with them, they are listed separately, but with Artwork displayed, all of the songs are listed under Journey. I'm not sure if this is the same as your problem, but it is odd how the iPhone groups songs by album name and not artist.

I have an album that I purchased that isn't showing up in the cloud or in my library. If I go to the store it says purchased. How do I find it?

Purchased Album not Appearing in Purchased Items in Itunes store

I purchased an album 5 days ago. Came to find out one song cut off after a few seconds. The band said it was a glitch and had since been fixed and to download it again. I went to itunes store, purchased items. The album wasn't there. Pther songs that I bought from this band were there but the 27 song album that I purchased 5 days ago is not listed in my purchases. It is on my computer, it does appear in my purchased items if I view through my music lists, but it does not appear, album nor songs, if i click purchased tab on itunes window. Any help???

New Purchased Albums not showing up in Library

I just bought 2 new Albums from the Itunes store and they wont show up in my Library. If I search for them they are on my computer and will play but only through searching for the songs. Anything I can do to fix this?

I would check to see if they have downloaded to your computer already. If you follow the file location, you should be able to find the songs. When you find them you can drag them on top of iTunes to import again.

Purchased Album Not on iPod or iTunes Library, Can't Re-Download from iTunes Store

After downloading an album from the iTunes store off of my iPod and later syncing my iPod to iTunes on my laptop, the album has disappeared from both my iPod's "Music" section, and from my laptop on iTunes, but when I go the the iTunes Store, on either the laptop or iPod, the album says "purchased" and I cannot re-download it. I can't think of any posible solutions, hopefully you guys can! THANK YOU!

Are you trying to redownload it by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Do you have any Restrictions (Settings>General>Restrictions) set that would hide that album

I pre-ordered Coldplay Ghost Stories and has now been released - I have checked my accounts page where normally comes up to download pre-ordered items and the only item that downloaded was the digital booklet. None of the songs are in my library - on the itunes store page it shows them as purchased?

What happens when you click Store (in the Menu Bar) > Check for Available Downloads?
You can download them from the iTunes Store.
Open iTunes and go to the iTunes Store, click Purchased in the Quick Links section on the right, sign in (if prompted) then Music

Its just that i previously asked similar question and one guy answered that you have to download a past purchase again like the original purchase. In this case the orginal purchase was the whole album. Also I then downloaded the whole album after downloading the individual songs.

I purchased a pre-order for an album back in September, with a release date of Oct. 29. On Oct. 29, the album was displayed as "purchased" on the iTunes Store yet it did not download. I did not receive a pre-order email and the purchase was not on the cloud.

Where are you looking in iTunes ? If you are in a country where music can be redownload (and they are still in your country's store) then they should show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page for redownloading. HT201253 Iphone 5s not syncing music to phone with itunes 12.0.1.26 - also cannot download full purchased albums, only some tracks

The fun of new updates on my Windows 8.1 laptop and iphone 5S 64gb.
I noticed since my last sync that some tracks had magically been removed - so I wanted to full sync. This couldn't even be instigated unless I deleted all my music off of phone, now it just hangs when syncing - for hours. No updates on how many tracks out of how many tracks have been synced.
Also my purchased albums - I can see them on itunes as whole ones that are purchased, same on iphone.
I then go to iphone to download my purchased items via itunes app, and it only shows some songs. An example is Drake, Game etc. - seems to affect full albums I've bought that are "deluxe" editions.
All the normal/single edition albums seem fine.
Absolutely fantastic, can't get my music onto phone except some purchased items - and even then it doesn't show all my purchases.
Not sure if setting up family share affected things, but it can't even handle the simple tasks let alone downloading content from other users purchasers (which it detects fine ironically). New features but can't do anything that has previously been fine.
Flabbergasted, had one work iphone4s 16gb and 64gb personal previously - no problems with same laptop.
My alienware laptop is very high spec with SSD, so the fault does not lie here - apple related software or product.

It couldn't do over 50gb in one go, had to do two half syncs to get all music on - i think this is limitation of the itunes software - pretty shocking really.

4 of the songs on a recently purchased album do not appear on my computer. I bought the album on my phone, and all of the songs are accounted for there, but on my computer it shows as an incomplete album and ITunes wants me to buy the missing songs?

I recently purchased Slipknot's ".5: The Gray Chapter" on my phone via an ITunes gift card worth $15 dollars. The album did have some trouble downloading because of a bad signal, and a good number of songs "could not be downloaded at this time". To download the missing songs, I had to go into ITunes store>more>purchased>music>all songs and click download on the few that didn't. This fixed that problem, and now the entire album is on my phone, but when the album transferred over to my computer, 4 of the songs still did not appear. Not only that, it says that they have not been purchased. The ITunes card I used only has a dollor left on it, so I know it registered the purchase. The 10th, 14th, 15th, and 16th tracks still have $1.29 next to them, and ITunes is showing the album as an incomplete.

We are having this same issue. We have over 200 songs that are now missing and only our most recent ones show up in our ITunes library. Fortunately we have one phone that still has all of our music still in tact. This phone is no longer one I will be using as I upgraded to the Iphone 6, and only the most recent purchased songs remain. The rest are no where to be found and the iTunes store shows that I would need to re-purchase. Not sure what to do as when I tried to sync my last phone, all the songs were gone.

When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.
