V33.0 -- "Gestalt" error-message on Yosemite OS X 10.10 -- thinks that it is made-for Mavericks OS X 10.9 ?
I get the following error-lines, in my "system.log" file, under Yosemite OS X 10.10 :

So this is known issue with Firefox 33 which should be fixed in Firefox 34 beta onwards. can you try the latest beta and let us know how it goes?

iPad 3 and iPhone 4S won't synch with iTunes on Mac book pro. Error message says I need to have version 10.6.3 or later for iTunes. I tried 3 different USB sync cables. Still not syncing.
Do I really have to update my Mac OS to 10.6.8 in order to sync my phone ? I thought as long as you have iTunes 10.6.3 you're ok...
Is there a way to update to Mac OS 10.6.8 (or later) without wiping the hard drive and doing a new install?..

When trying to restore and update my ipod touch it comes up with an error message saying: "The ipod can not be restored this device isnt eligible for the requested build" How do i fix this?
I am having the same issue. I just had the battery replaced at a third party store. The battery powers the ipod up but it needs to be restored. It is saying it isn't eligible for rebuild. I am running MAC OS 10.4.11 itunes v. 9.0 and I just want it to be restored. I need help. Oh and its an 8 gb ipod touch.

Restart your computer and the iPhone. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.

Hhow much goal and free hard disk space is available? Sounds like you need to move some things off of that hard drive.

I keep getting the following error message while sharing my iMovie to iDVD. "Unable to prepare project for publishing" error (-2125). I'm running iMovie 09 v. 8.0.6 on a iMac with OSX v 10.6.8, 2Ghz core duo, 1GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM. Any ideas why?
That particular error comes up for a number of reasons, sometimes it's the size of the movie you're trying to export. Bengt Wärleby a longtime contributor to the iMovie Discussion Group has advised a number of people on this error code, so I am going to link to his latest advice he's given to anyone trying to export to DVD from iMovie: Bengt's tips for great DVDs.
Specifically, try bypassing Share to iDVD by using Share to Media Browser instead.
In the Share to Media Browser dialog box choose the Large Size.
When(If?) it gets through that process, quit iMovie altogehter then go to iDVD.
Create a new project and click on the Media button near the lower right hand side of the Project Window.
Then click the Movies button in the Browser window just above that.
Under the iMovie star icon you should see the name of the project you shared out from iMovie.
Drag that into the project and burn the DVD.
If it's still to large or you get the same -2125 error code trying to Share using the Medium size instead. But again if you really get stuck consult Bengt Warleby's User tips:

I'm wondering if anyone has noticed frequent crashing of apps that never crashed before, error messages in their internet connections, and anything else that just doesn't seem right?

I need help, I pluged my iphone to itunes and got a message that said there was an update to download and update, I did but when itunes was rebooting and updating I got an error message. and now the phone is telling me that it cant be activated, to plug it in to itunes or to contact support care.
That message usually indicates that your phone was hacked to unlock it from the original phone carrier, then when you updated or restored it locked back to that carrier.

I had iTunes 10.2.1.1 but needed to upgrade to 10.6 so my iPhone could synch...I'm getting this error message "Problem with this Windows (XP) Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run." Any ideas?
This has been fixed. Answer is that I needed to go to "Apple Software Update" and repair it. (From my Control Panel).

getting an error message while trying to backup my IPhone 4 that says i will lose all content if i continue. error message is (-5000). what does this mean and how do i fix the problem?
Well, when you click on "update" and it goes partway through and then says it can't continue that does look somewhat error-like to me. :-). I did do a synch when I first plugged the iPad into my desktop, but had to upgrade iTunes and reboot before upgrading the iPad OS, so everything should be backed up. I hope! I don't know how to check on whether things like my appointments or files that I have created get saved in a synch. Selecting each of my pictures and emailing them to myself is an option, I guess.
I am new to the apple world and the thought of losing six month's worth of stuff is intimidating. If only I knew which things would get lost, I'd be able to work with it.

Unfortunately, this error indicates that there is an internal hardware issue with the printer.
Please try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Unplug the power from the printer for at least 5-10 minutes.
3. While unplugged, remove any paper from the unit.
4. Double check for any obstructions found in the unit or paper paths.
5. If no obstructions are found, plug the power back in and turn the unit on.

Keep getting error message access denied then already a project with that
name saved.
I don't understand why this is happening now, I have done this stuff many times before and NOW I am getting this message over and over! I am trying to start a new project and I keep getting that message. (it also says there is already a project using that name that I am trying to save it as. I have tried rebooting and shutting down FCE to no avail. I can't render anything because I guess I am NOT allowed access to my own project. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I have an external drive that my scratch settings are set to. They are still there and the message is STILL bouncing up.

ruezThe other error message reads "there is already a project with that name", when I try to save it. Then it saves it as a copy, then the next time it is saved as a copy copy. I don't get it! I am doing just what I have always done and now this?
When you say 'drives' what are you referring to exactly? How would I trash my preferences? Where would I check permission on my drives?

Can anyone help? I have been trying to install the new version of Itunes for ages my new iphone wont activate on the old version!! Keep getting the same error message - Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run - Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
Please Help!!!!!That particular key can sometimes be hit by malware, liam, so just to be on the safe side I think we should try a malware scan first.
Try downloading and installing the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware. Update your MBAM definitions and then run a full scan of the PC. (Takes about 2 hour on my Lenovo.)
