Why the #$%@ can't i update my firmware?
My phone was bought from Vodafone UK on contract. It is the blue version (Code: 0577089).
I want a Nokia Admin/Mod to answer my question above!!!!!

I heard that kinetic scrolling is introduced in V40 as shown in a youtube video given below

But I didnt found that after upgrading to V40.
Is it not pre-enabled and if it is pre-enabled why it is not working in my 5800 device. For this feature do we need to install Flashlite. And also please explain all the features of V40 update.

For the record, the guys at the Nokia store usually just uses the PC suites as well to update your phone, its just that their PC has been set to optimize the download (i.e. their AV programs have been set to not interfere), since unknowingly, some of the programs our PC has may interfere. For example, it would normally be impossible for me to update via PC suite if I do not know how to tinker my AV which does not allow Ovi to connect to the net. There has also been issues with the compatibility of PC suite and Ovi suite on Vista, which I have not experienced.
I upgraded on my own using Ovi on my PC.

Built-in to OS X is the ability to capture an entire screen or selected portions. Snaps are saved to the Desktop by default:

I would also like this issue addressed.
I am using a Plantronics Voyager Pro+ and when it is connected to my iPhone 4, email and text sounds are not audible through the phone. The phone just vibrates when a new text or email is received.
I don't really care if it plays through the headset, but it should at least play through the phone. I tested the headset from a BlackBerry and the alerts play fine.

First try a restore from backup
If problem still occurs try a restore to factory defaults/new Pod.
If still occurs likely a hardware problem and an appoitment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

This is iMessages, not an SMS/MMS, and this means the same Apple ID is registered for iMessage on each iPhone.
You or your daughter need to activate your own Apple ID for iMessage and FaceTime. The same Apple ID can continue to be shared for iTunes store downloads - for music and apps.
On the iPhone, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Select the Apple ID at the top and sign out. Sign in with the new Apple ID.
Make sure the same email address is not available below You can be reached by iMessage at on each iPhone.

System files are hidden by default in Finder now, search for what you want then click the little + button on the top right of the bar that appears when you do a search. A new bar comes up and click the first box (that says "Kind"), change it to "System Files". Then change the box that says "aren't included" to "are included" and your file should show up.

One more thing. I just update my iphone that my boss gave to me but it seems to be like it giving me some trouble. My iphone was updated not too long and was successful. I try to lock into it and it telling me emergency call. I plug it to my itune and it telling me that the sim card is not valid or supported. So I inserted my sim card that I usually use to call and it still saying the same. Please help me get into it.

And as far as paying for phone support, here are a few tips:
If you call your carrier first and then they route you to Apple, you usually don't have to pay for phone support.
If you are talking to Apple and they ask you to pay a support fee, ask if you can get an exception this time. That usually works once, but they keep track of the times you've been granted such an exception.

I think what you want is a 3D plot of a cylinder. I have attached an example using a parametric 3D plot.
You will probably want to duplicate the points for the first theta value to close the cylinder. I'm not sure what properties of the graph can be manipulated to make it easier to see.

I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
(I'm using windows 7)

Sounds like some hardware issues, meaning you'll want to take or send the iPods in for service or repairs. You can choose to have Apple do an out of warranty exchange for the prices indicated in the link below or find another third party service perhaps even local to your area.
